Pallas Apartments

we don’t live there but my husband and i and our 2 year old son took a tour there a few days ago. bonnie was our tour guide… she was friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. she spent 2 ½ hours with us showing us different apartments, the gorgeous upscale lounge, the to die for pool scene, etc. we currently live at upstairs at bethesda row, looking out over the lane (fantastic location). we’re considering a move to north bethesda because we’ve found a school we like that is walking distance from pallas. we’re a 1 car family and want to stay that way, and so it would be nice to be so close to the school. also a plus that we’d save $ 300/​monthly and end up in a nicer and brand new unit from what we currently have, same sq ft. my husband and i were really impressed by the units we saw, all 3 designs are cool (we particularly like «tuscan» and «urban»). also, i think it’s fair to say that this location is also super excellent… i love some of the restaurants nearby, the movie theatre, and the fact of further commercial expansion and offerings is clearly appealing for the longer term. we would love, without hesitation, to move to pallas. so now i need to see if i can get an early decision from the school, as we’ve found 2 units we’d be super jazzed to move into, and i don’t want to lose out on them from someone reading this review:) i woke up this morning and was thinking it would be a good idea to write this review as thanks to bonnie, for really putting all effort into explaining the building to us, showing us units that matched what we said we liked, taking the time. our son was a bit unruly at times (missed his nap + got a sugar high from the free drink offerings in the pallas refrigerator), and she never made us feel judged. this building seems to me to be top of the top, with a well run professional leasing office.

We have been at The Pallas at Pike & Rose Apartments in N. Bethesda Md for 3 months now and the apt is amazing and the office staff are wonderful to work with and very professional. The concierges are very friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful. When maintenance is needed they come right away. The rents are reasonable. The property also has a garage for parking that makes it really nice. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The Metro station is in walking distance if you do not have transportation or just want to leave your vehicle parked. We would recommend this property to anyone to rent here.

Hours today…10 am to 8 pm, right? Wrong! My husband and I looked up the hours yesterday and I was impressed to see that they are opened late as it’s hard to get to these complexes before they close.
We walked into the building and the concierge did not even greet us. He basically told us that the leasing agent would not see us at this time because she stops showing apartments at 7:30. It wasn’t 7:30 but she was with another client when we got there. My thing is, don’t say you’re open until 8 if you’re going to refuse to talk to people before then.
After she was done with her clients, my husband tried to at least get a copy of the floor plans and some information for when we return and she refused. We won’t be going back. There is a lot of new construction in this area and we can find much better treatment elsewhere.
They need to remember that the Upton, Bainbridge, and Mallory have just opened and they do not treat people like this. This apartment building will not be in the running for us. The concierge had the nerve to say «I hope you guys come back tomorrow» –_​_​– How about you act like you want people to come back?
Complete lack of class.
