Had a great experience at Sleepys. We had been shopping around for several months and decided to take a look at at Sleepys. We are so glad we did. Debbie was a great and friendly sales person, as was her manger. They also were wonderful with our two boys. They were able to test out the mattresses as well, without being scolded or frowned upon, and of course we had rules for them because boys will be boys. Debbie you are a wonderful asset to Sleepys. Thank you for your patience with us. We both love our purchase! If I could post the picture of our boys relaxing on the beds that would be proof in itself!

So an update on my mattress purchase from 8 months ago that I raved about the customer service on 4÷20÷15. Bought a Plush Sealy Posturepedic at that time and could not be more disappointed with Sealy and Sleepys 8 months later. It began to sag within 2 – 3 months of purchase on each side. My wife and I put in warranty claim and had to do a self examination which I thought was pretty convenient on their end to begin with, but whatever, we did it. Got a call back from the Sleepy’s representative saying our claim had been denied because our sag was only ¾″, the rep. told me the sag needed to be at lease 1 ½″ to qualify for the warranty replacement. 1 ½″!!! That’s crazy, both my wife and I are under 150lbs, there is no reason this mattress should be sagging at all less than 1 yr after purchase. And 1 ½″ is practically a hole. The ¾″ sag that we have now is visible and completely uncomfortable. The mattress is a complete waste of money and I would not recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately, I would also not recommend Sleepys as they did not stand by the product they sold. They simply referred me to Sealys warranty and washed their hands of the situation. The way this whole thing has played out is very disappointing. As you can tell from my original post, I was very happy with my purchase experience. The mattress just turned out to be extremely below standard, and I would have hoped for better service from both Sleepys and Sealy after the mattress failed and got neither.

We had such a great experience with Deb today at Sleepys. She was beyond helpful in making sure that we chose the right mattress and pillows to keep our spines in alignment. Even when busy with other customers when I walked in, she was welcoming. I felt very comfortable in the store and it was because of her warm and friendly personality. Purchasing our new mattress was a breeze and I can’t wait for it to be delivered tomorrow! We will definitely return to this store location, and to Deb, when we purchase another new mattress.

Save your money and a lot of frustration by avoiding this store and any of the hundreds of others operating under the Sleepy’s banner. They sell defective merchandise at a discount but do not tell you this. You think you are getting high quality products but instead you are getting screwed. They insist that you purchase a mattress cover in order to honor their guarantee. That’s so they can resell your mattress to another unknowing sucker and has nothing to do with any guarantee. Biggest mistake I ever made was buying a very expensive Simmons mattress from them which was the worst mattress I ever bought in my life. Now I am in a battle with their corporate office in trying to get my money back.

Having never bought a bed before, I was feeling a little overwhelmed walking into the store. Luckily, Deb was there to help me. She was amazing and very patient with all of my questions. She was able to check my alignment on different mattresses, recommended a pillow which is now my prized possession, and walked my through all of my financing. I am moving out of state, and have been feeling stressed out with all of the logistics, but she made this experience so painless. She even recommended a book to read! I’m grateful that she was there, and will definitely be returning to Sleepy’s for any related purchases in the future. Thanks, Deb!

I needed a quick replacement twin mattress and box spring. Rene already had her coat on ready to go home, but took her coat off and helped me when she heard what I needed. She helped me choose the product and then patiently worked through a slow computer system — actually switched to another terminal — and was able to track down a nearby store that had the items in stock. She called, made sure the items were there and told the staff that I was on my way. Rene went above and beyond the call of duty — and Chelsea at the Batavia store was very friendly and efficient. I will certainly recommend Sleepy’s to anyone who needs a bed.
