Well stocked store but very poor customer relations. While waiting for store to open my wife and I bought take out coffee When the store opened my wife sat at a table and went to purchase a credit on her nook account. Before she could pick up additional books for purchase an employee told her, «politely’ he claims» but in a loud enough voice that others nearby could hear. You cannot drink the coffee you did not purchase here. Meanwhile others sitting nearby had set up their«offices» with computers and another conducted financial advising with clients. They had no purchases at all, either books, coffee, or food. When I retuned to the table she was upset and told me what happened. I spoke to the employee who forbid her to open the coffee at the customer service desk. His response was simply that is Barnes and Noble Corporate Policy. He identified himself as the store manager and a colleague next to him confirmed that he was indeed the manager. It took four phone calls and an hour of wait time to reach a customer service rep who would take a complaint. This person was the first of 5, I had spoken to that offered an apology. We like the ambience of a brick and mortar store, BUT, here we come; and just in time for holiday shopping.

The Norristown B&N location is a very pleasant place to spend some time. It’s clean, bright, spacious, well-organized, and relaxed. The customer service guy spent a lot of time helping me locate a particular book that seemed to defy categorization. All B&N’s nowadays have toys and games, so there’s a lot to giggle about. A few minutes of fun with a fluffy owl puppet and a Game of Thrones bobblehead went a long way in brightening my day. I enjoyed my visit and bought my book.

Typical B&N, but this one is big and spacious! It was quiet inside. The café was nice and they had a good selection of treats. Good place to browse on a Friday evening. I would go back!

I plowed many book shelves over with a stroller in hopes that my aisle widening project would help anyone in a wheelchair. I doubt many corners legally meet ADA requirements. Other than this year store is great.

It’s a Barnes and Noble. There’s not much more to say! Nice big store that also has a Café /Starbucks inside as well as a DVD /music department. Definitely one of my favorite past times to come wander around, look at and buy more books to add to my ever growing reading list. All employees I have ever encountered have been pleasant and helpful as well.

Though I will always love and miss Borders, this is a good place. They rarely carry the Jen Lancaster books, which is disappointing, but the do have a great selection overall. The people there are really nice and helpful, too.

You would think you were shopping at a homeless shelter. On the weekend it is impossible to shop because there are people sitting, laying, and sleeping in every aisle making it difficult to browse any book. Went to manager to complain and they simply looked at me as if I was weird and told me that’s just how we do business. I inquired«so you’d rather let people sleep and read for free than a paying customer?» They said yep and I said say hi to Borders for me I am heading to

I used to come here lots of times as a youth, when I actually enjoyed reading books(College, however, broke me of that nasty little habit!). Shelves of books as far as the eye can see, as well as a seperate movie/music section. The B&N employees were always super nice and always willing to look something up or order something if it wasn’t currently in stock; usually I was too impatient to wait for it though! The employees over at the café were polite and quick with getting my order(Caramel Brulee Latte and a blueberry muffin) as well as getting my friends’ order(tea and bagel) and there was lots of seating(although ¾ of it was occupied!). The café was pretty well stocked, boasting a wide selection of eats from Cheesecake factory brand cake to pizza and regular breakfast necessities(bagels, muffins, etc) It’s a nice little place for people to catch up, or just catch up on your reading. Either way, it’s worth a trip if you’re in the area.

I love this bookstore. The employees are very helpful and pleasant, and there are both tables and sofas for you to sit in. If you stop by the café, there are outlets and additional seating. AT&T wifi is available if you are a subscriber. A lot of students come here to work, and it definitely provides the atmosphere for getting problem sets and papers completed.

I’d give this place a 5, but their manga/graphic novel selection is garbage. And that is the reason I go to bookstores. Also, there have been occasions where a book was«In Stock» on the website, and I get there and it’s no where to be found. Now on to the many positives. While one may not be able to find a specific manga or graphic novel, they do stock a decent collection of magazines like Shonen Jump, etc. The stock of books is incredible, and audio-books abound. When there is such a huge selection, I love the fact that they fit it all onto one floor. This is a big plus to me with bookstores. I like to get in and out without too much walking… but wait I’m not done… For a bookstore, the DVD/Blu-ray selection is RIDICULOUS! I’ve found entire collections of TV shows I totally forgot ever existed, old classics, and always the newest most popular thing for sale. For hipsters… you can drink coffee while you read if you’re into that kind of thing. It’s worth the time to visit if you like… books.
