Food was excellent! I got a gluten free pizza with chicken, pineapple, goat cheese, spicy sauce and jalapeños. The workers were really friendly. I will be returning

Friendly staff even though they were closing in an hour. Great taste and well received with the 2 hungry middle schoolers I had with me. Would definitely recommend for kids and picky pizza eaters. Make your own style great concept for small pizzas and crispy crust was right on.

Blaze Pizza; chipotle-style customized pizza! Choose your ingredients, send it to the oven & in just a few mins you have your perfect ideal pie! Simple yet effective. Despite going to school at the University At Albany years ago this past weekend was my first time visiting this place. It was a little busy when I arrived on a Saturday afternoon but the line moved quickly. Ordered a custom pie with peppers, chicken, bacon and olive oil. Cooked to perfection & tasted like none other! The people were courteous & the place itself looked nice enough to dine in. My friend raves about this place all the time & he was right in doing. I’ll definitely be coming back when I’m in the area.

Tried this place for the first time. they have quite a selection. It’s set up like subway where you start out with a plain pizza shell and move down the line with topping. The also have pre determined pizza combos. I got the white top pizza(white cream sauce, bacon, mozzarella cheese and arugula) Which was very good. For two small pizzas it cost $ 18. The other pizza was a cheese and bacon. While the prices seem a little high. You do get a pizza very fast. The crust is thin and chewy. The cream sauce was good. The tomato sauce is very sweet. Don’t know if I would replace this place with my usually pizza spot, but it was still a decent pizza

5 stars. This place is amazing. You go down the line and pick out what you’d like. 3 types of AMAZING sauces, 5 or 6 types of cheeses and countless toppings all for $ 7.95 I think it was. I got the regular sauce, mozzarella cheese, red peppers, green peppers, pepperoni, onions, pepperoni, bacon and sausage. Than they cook it for you and it was exactly as they advertised. 180 seconds. I couldn’t believe it. Made to perfection. They are a definite winner. You won’t be sorry. Oh, the toppings are unlimited and there is no extra charge for them.

Good and very filling pizza! This place is a «create your own» pizza joint and it’s great. See your toppings and customize to your desire, our pizzas were phenomenal. I had the Art lover pizza minus the garlic, I added spinach, basil, fresh mozzarella, banana peppers and salami!!! So good if you love artichokes too yeah that’s there too! Cooked to a perfect crisp and the dough was fresh. My husband got the white pizza including bacon, arugula, garlic green peppers and he got s drizzle of pesto! Superb dinner for 2 for under $ 20, glad that this location has a lot of seating and parking is fairly easy. I recommend this for your next pizza night, they were also raising money for a fundraiser, it’s kid friendly and they aim to please.

The build your own order is a great feature. It allows you to express your creativity. Pizza is okay though, very thin crust and can get burnt very quickly as it was for me.

There is obviously better pizza in the world. But pizza on a time crunch? This takes the cake(or pizza?). Don’t fear the long line, it moves impressively fast. You have some standard order options or you can get wild and crazy with your toppings. They have a ton of options. They also have vegan options, and it’s pretty delicious. It really solves that I want good pizza NOW issue that we all have. As far as vegan pizza goes it’s probably the best in the area hands down. Note: My niece tried a non-vegan cheese and sauce pizza and she said it’s better then school pizza. And school pizza is her favorite(she must have better pizza then I did when I was her age)

I first ate here the week they opened offering a free pizza to all… brilliant marketing and it hooked me. I’ve returned because not only can you request gluten free dough($ 3 extra but worth it), you can also get vegan cheeze and you’re asked if you’d like a glove change! The pizza is delicious, service is friendly and atmosphere industrial modern. This is a pizza place that does everything right.

I had been to blaze a few times while in the DMV area this past summer and was very excited to see it finally open in upstate NY. Blaze is awesome, point blank. No extra charges for the build your own pizza which lets me put anything I wish without worrying about spending $ 20 on a personal pizza. I usually enjoy the spicy sauce but felt it was too spicy my last time around so I mixed classic and spicy and it was just right. My main complaint however is that blaze is supposed to be fast… 180 seconds and your pizza is done. This specific location was not fast whatsoever, in fact it took nearly 25 minutes before our pizza was ready between lines and waiting for toppings, and waiting to pay. I accredit this to be newly opened and will certainly return to try again.

Pretty good for fast food pizza! I like how diverse the topping offerings are and how easy it is to customize to your hearts desire.

I’m a fan! Their sauces and meats have exceptional flavor. The entire process went smoothly, just follow your pizza down the line. In and out! The yummy blood orange lemonade and fair prices topped the entire experience off!

The Chipotle of Pizza? Being both a Chipotle fan and sucker for trying anything billed as the latest and greatest fast casual joint to invade the area, I was pretty excited to try this place. As with most things that sound too good to be true, so was Blaze. The assembly line production seems like a natural fit for pizza. Two problems here though. First, many of the toppings, especially the meats, didn’t look appetizing at all. Reminded me of the sad looking stacks of below-average meats in a Subway. In fairness, they did look better after the pizzas were done. Second, the line moved really slowly. Once in the oven, the pizzas are supposed to cook in 180 seconds. I didn’t set a timer, but I’m almost certain all of the pizzas were in the oven longer than the 3 minutes advertised. Something may have been wrong with the oven as one of our pizzas came out after 3 pizzas from the next 2 orders despite being put in the oven in exactly the order they were made. As for those pizzas, there are quite a few toppings and there’s something great about a personal pizza you can get with toppings you want without thinking about what makes everyone happy. The personal size is pretty generous too. I was actually expecting them to be somewhat smaller. Only one in our party did not take part of a pizza home. Taste was ok. The spicy sauce had a nice zip to it, but the crust was a huge disappointment. It held up well to the toppings, but had no flavor to it at all. Advertising that the dough is made daily in-store is a mistake. It sets the expectations higher. The cheese pizza was a budget-friendly $ 5, but unremarkable in every way. That said, the kids devoured it. They also have salads and the descriptions sounded nice, but they were premade in a case and looked pathetic. Too bad as splitting a pizza and a salad might be a pretty decent meal with enough toppings on the pizza to compensate for the flavorless crust. Should be 2 ½ stars. Rounding to 3 as 2 seems too tough and the very enthusiastic thumbs up from the kids should be worth something. I might go back and try it again if I happen to be in the area, but am certainly not rushing there.

Yes, yes, the Chipotle of pizza — mission accomplished on that front. An almost identical experience, right down to being hurried through line and having a confused knot of people at the end waiting for their orders. The seating is slightly better than Chipotle, so there’s that. The pizza isn’t true flatbread — it’s a very thin Americano crust, and fire-cooking notwithstanding, has the slightly-underdone taste and texture to it. That said, for $ 7 you can do a lot worse for a small pizza. I can’t vouch for the ingredient quality — there are no public warranties, as at Chipotle — but the toppings were decent and nothing was obviously at the food-service-supply level, so we were pretty happy with the results. I’m sure other reviewers who are more sensitive may be trusted as to the gluten-free quality of that option; I’m never tempted myself. But having restaurants understanding food differences is always a good sign. We very much enjoyed the premade salads, though, which are very good an unusual combinations. Not a scrap of iceberg to be found in any of their combos. Kudos in general for keeping the menu simple(although having a non-chocolate dessert would be appreciated, as we have allergies). We are certainly adding this into our rotation, because it’s relatively quick, kid-pleasing, and relatively cheap. I just can’t gush at the overall quality per se; I certainly like it better than crappy New York style pizza-board, but it’s decent, not in the outstanding experience category. Possibly that’s all they’re aiming at – a fast food pizza — and for that it’s a welcome addition, and they will do well.

So this place is supposed to be really fast at making your pizza so its ready in less than 10 minutes, but let me tell you, it won’t be ready that quickly… the reason why is because the person putting toppings on your pizza is going to be very slow and particular about spreading them out so the pizza looks cosmetically appealing. Indeed, I was that. I asked for more pepperoni as the date was kinda stingy on them. Definitely ask for the fresh mozzarella and fresh basil. Can you say game changer? Cooks fast but they only heat maybe 3 pies at a time so if there are a bunch ahead of yours, you’ll be waiting. Drinks are $ 1.90 per… that’s for sodas and water. They carry Coke products. Good looking and good tasting pie. Size is just right or a typical big eater like me! Check out my pics.

I heard this chain is «the Chipotle of pizza,» which I’d say is pretty accurate. It took 16 minutes from the time I got in line to get my order, so I’d like to see that get a bit faster. The quality was pretty good — chewy crust, not greasy, quality toppings. There are three set vegetarian pizzas, but I’d suggest just choosing your own toppings rather than going with one of the set pizzas. I got two of the set pizzas. They were OK, but I think I would have liked other flavor combos better.

We just tried this place and already love it. Pizza is crispy and delicious. Staff was extremely welcoming. Food is ready very quickly. Priced well. Very clean(pristine really, even with tons of families in the place). Try the s’mores too! When can we go back???

Could this be a new go to for us when we’re craving pizza? Rocking tunes, no nonsense modern décor. Great pizza and a soda for under $ 10. Staff were friendly and helpful as they made suggestions. Since they just opened and weren’t too busy they came over to our table several times to check and see how we were doing, which I greatly appreciated. It will please any pizza lover in your group as the combinations are endless. It’s actually one of the few thin crust pizza places in the area which will set them apart. From start to finish we were able to get our pizzas in less than 10 minutes and I imagine they will only streamline the process as their business grows. All the employees seemed to be happy and excited to work there. I appreciated their enthusiasm and think it’s always a good omen when the employees are in good spirits as they were here. Is it all too good to be true you might ask? Well this is definitely a place that caters to millennials but all the barstools and chairs were matching so you can’t go as far as to call it hipster, but that would just be splitting hairs. So excited to add this great new restaurant to our repertoire! P. S. They have flexible straws, which in my book is almost worth an extra star!

Blaze is being called the Chipolte of pizza and for good reason. The setup is exactly like Chipolte. A pizza with as many toppings as you want is just $ 7.85. I think that’s a good deal, and the pizzas are just the right size in my opinion. Big enough to fill you up, without having a ton of leftovers. I love that the pizza is handed to you blazing hot right out of the oven(pardon the pun). The crust is thin, with a nice crunch and it has good flavor. The bottom crust is speckled with char, and the edges of the end crust have some char as well. But the end crust is too small and thin for my tastes, it’s good, but I love a light, airy, but still chewy and crunchy end crust, and Blaze’s end crust is all crunch. I ordered my pizza with the spicy sauce and it was too spicy, and there was too much sauce. Next time I’ll go for the standard red sauce and make sure they put less on, and I’ll shake on some of the provided red pepper flakes or Tabasco, if I want some heat. The abundance of sauce aside, the rest of the toppings(and the cheese especially) were applied with a light hand, and I appreciated that. The toppings all looked fresh and of high quality. My wife really enjoyed her veggie pizza and she’s become a fan. I’d have no problem joining her for a pizza. But given my druthers, I’m going to choose one of the better local pizza shops over Blaze. And getting a couple of slices heated up at your local pizza joint is just as quick too.
