Pam’s Place

We love everything about Pam’s Place… the frozen yogurt quality is yummy excellent… the ice cream and sherbet is creamy and rich… the sundaes are made by «Pam’s recipe» or «to order by my recipe =o)» Pam’s sweet smile and welcoming hospitality make it a happy place to be and i always feel great that i’ve stopped in! Pam loves her business and serving her tasty specialties and it is evident in everything that she makes and serves! i say ditto to Glenn B. who commented on the cleanliness… i’d like to add 5 star freshness…

Visited for the first time a few weeks ago. The selection of ice creams was great and the menu offered a wide variety of items. The young man serving us was very friendly and did a great job with my sundae. He didn’t just put the toppings on top of my 2 scoop sundae, but actually put the toppings between the two scoops… very yummy. The venue itself is nice and spacious, with seating outside. We will definitely be back.

Just what we needed on this hot, hot central coast day! The kiddos love coming here and to be honest, I do too! We will certainly be back.

I really wanted to try this place, but it is not open. No signs on the door with hours… oh well.

We love Pam’s! Pam and all of the employees are very pleasant. The place is spotless and everything we’ve tried has been really good. My favorite is Peanut Butter Cup and my husband likes the Expresso Chip but there is lot’s to choose from so give it a try!

Best place ever to feel like your walking into your own kitchen and this awesome person makes you whatever you want … This place is so awesome I’ve put on 15lbs since I’ve moved here… but is ok Pam’s is awesome …

I have a few points to expand upon in order to justify my exuberance.
POINT 1: Cleanliness. This place is spotless! Great job, Pam! If my ice cream had slipped outta my hand and hit the floor, I wouldn’t have even thoughts twice about getting on all fours and lapping it up right off that sterile floor! Also, you know how most ice cream places have fugly looking tubs of ice cream? Look like small kids been playin’ all up in there? Not here! If those tubs were any cleaner they’d have to be in a convent!
POINT 2: Personability. Pam is a sweetie! At least I believe that was her I met. I walked in and she was sweeping the floor. (Which was already super clean!) We talked about all sorts stuff! She has a friendly neighbor kinda quality about her. I wanted to sit down and discuss barbecue. WAITAMINNIT… we DID discuss barbecue! We talked about nearby Jocko’s Steakhouse!
POINT 3: Darn Good Ice Cream. I dunno if it was the fact that the place was so clean or that Pam was so friendly, but I left there believing my ice cream was better than any other ice cream I’ve had.

So basically it’s TNT’s, just in a less convenient location. We were huge TNT’s fans before they left and we’re super excited that a new shop opened up in Nipomo. Overall, the flavor of the frozen yogurt is similar to our old fave.
We’ve noticed that Pam and her crew are extremely stingy on the toppings though. $ 1.25 for a level tablespoon of topping seems outrageous. From now on we just buy the yogurt and purchase the toppings ourselves elsewhere. Less convenient? Yes! But we can sure get a lot more toppings for a lot less money this way.
I hope they stick around…

Dreamcicle smoothie tastes mostly like mango then orange hints. Maybe I’ll ask for no mangos next time I really wanted a more orangey flavor. Limelite smoothie tastes like lime juice and raspberries so its on the bitter side.

Stopped by late at night and the ice cream was delicious. My wife had a child size which was pretty big! I had a sundae and it was delicious. Birthday cake was my favorite! Definitely a great place for ice cream!

Really good Ice cream and friendly service. A great variety of Sundaes, Banana Splits, Smoothies, etc. A very clean place.

Went with family and the lady is lovely. Ice cream is made with love and every bite is good, you don’t have to look for that great bite. Best sundaes and plenty of ice cream to fill your belly with delicious joy!

Took my daughter in for a treat after school! I thought the prices were decent and the girl behind the counter was super friendly! Might need to get more help for after school because she was the only one working and they were kinda busy. But being a new business I won’t hold it against them. We’ll definitely go back!

New yogurt and smoothly shop in Nipomo. Just opened last week. GREAT selection of shakes, sundaes and smoothies made with real fruit.

Stopped by for some afternoon sweets. Great variety available on the menu, saw some pretty good sounding combinations. It’s still pretty new so, it’s really clean and nice inside. It’s kinda pricey but, it is the only ice cream shop in town and it was worth it in my opinion (as compared to driving to a.g. or santa maria goes). Will be going back to try some other items, just hope it sticks around long enough to enjoy it!
