Tony’s Landscaping

I have used this company for over 3 years for cutting my grass. They do this well, but they have some problems. They want to do all sorts of other work (Spring Clean-​up, aeration, fertilization, cutting bushes) and go ahead and do so, even when they have been told, repeatedly and in writing, that I do not want those services.
I recently contacted them to trim just my street corner bushes (Village requirement for traffic visibility) and described exactly what I wanted 3 times, once in person to Tony. I came home today and found the worker cutting ALL my bushes and doing a very poor job of it. I had the worker get Tony on the phone, and he claimed that I told him to trim all the bushes.
The owner (Tony) is hard to contact and only responds after repeated letters. They never answer their phone and hardly ever respond to voice mail messages that are left. Their billing process is inaccurate and I have been double billed a couple of times.
Today, I fired them. If you are looking for just basic grass cutting and will put up with having to specifically tell them what to do and what not to do, in writing, they may work for you. They no longer work for me. As a small business owner myself, this is no way to run a company.
