Ordered a different variety of cusine and should say everything was delicious. Agree with many reviews that not too many variety but whatever is on the menu is delicious and in the end taste is what matters.

Prasad should learn to talk to customers. Accept their mistakes not put the blame on customers. I ordered three items before a movie and picked it up in between the movie. Prasad was the one who took only one bag from inside. I took the bag and later found only half of what we ordered. When I called him later, he spoke as if I left the other bag specifically. He had my number which he could have used to call me. When I asked this he replied saying he threw my number once the order was taken. I do not understand which stupid Jack ass would do that. He offered me free food the next time I come. I am sorry, I want my food or my money and not your free food.

The eggplant curry wasn’t good and too spicy. The shrimp appetizer was alright. The garlic naan is covered in garlic which was gross to me but I’m guessing that’s kind of like a white people don’t know how to eat Indian food kinda thing.

I would recommend this restaurant to people as food is really delicious here. Staff is really nice. If you need pomfret fry, talk to Mr Prasad in advance so that he will get that ready for you. One thing you need to be aware of this restaurant is it is always full with people, so better ring them up before you reach. Tuesday Dosa night is pretty decent deal with lot of varieties. Hoping to see they will start Biriyani day one day

I won’t recommend it. Because 1. You will have to wait to long for someone to take your order and for you to start having it because they won’t deliver the it fast 2. Not a friendly staffs 3. Will have to walk across a movie theater if you need to use the restroom and it even sucks if you had something with your hand because then you will have to walk across a lot people at the theater just to use the restroom 4. They won’t let you sit where you feel comfortable they just want you to sit where they want you oh by the way you are the guest 5. And sometimes the food is really not that great although some of it are good

Poor customer service, no one even cared to change the empty water mug. Although the food was good, hospitality is not at its best

They serve the best Hyderabad dum biriyani. They have great appetizers. We first went there seeing lollipop in their menu. It was sooo good and even the chicken 555. All the food is authentic and very tasty. For the people who don’t like spicy, you have to mention it earlier as they tend to make most of their food spicy. And I think many doesn’t know about their weekend lunch buffet which will be on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They have chats on buffet which many Indian buffets don’t have. After seeing so many bad reviews, I felt why… They take time as the food will be fresh but it’s worth a wait. I didn’t click any pics on my visit, so I am posting their pics which I found on Facebook. Very good ambience. I recommend this place to everyone.

I don’t mind going here but the customer service is really poor. sometime you have to wait a while before someone can come take your order or before they can get your bill. Very confusing staff. But food is good so its okay i guess.

Really good Indian Restaurant. Although I must admit that they have a bite and I like it that way. We mostly tasted their south Indian dishes(Masala Dosa, Kids Dosa, Biriyani, Paneer Matar and Lassi). All the items were fantastic and we are going there again soooon…

Had Kothu parotta after many years!!! This yummy dish from Tamil Nadu was served with the same authentic taste. Finished all it with the raita and korma!!! I will suggest this as a must try at Ruchi!!! Ruchi also serves other South Indian items such as varieties of Dosa and their buffets are also good.

Our second visit and we were hopeful that they would have done better wrt the wait times. And surprise us they did — Yayy! For starters the menu has been condensed a good deal from the earlier one BUT am ok with a crisp list, timely food delivery and of course quality. As with our earlier experience, taste wise the food was very good. I would love to come back for the Chilly Corn! Just hoping things stay this way. PS: I have noticed the wait staff giggling, hanging around and chatting with each other in the middle of service. This has never hampered the service at our table but it just doesn’t seem business like. Just saying…

I have been to ruchi a couple of times now and had okayish experiences both the times. This seems to be a family run business or one run by a bunch of friends, there are always a lot of people running around trying to meet the demand but it never seems enough, i had to wait far too long for some one to approach me from the time i stepped in. The person waiting at our table was rude and stated point blank that everything would take at least 45 minutes to cook, even an appetizer and said that i will end up hurrying him later so if that is my intent i should not order in the first place and leave. Granted most of your customers are moviegoers at the multiplex next door and you might have had bad experience with some customers i understand the hesitation but being out right rude to someone is not justifiable. That being said, the food tasted good, the Apollo fish was good and the biryani was good as well. They have a good selection of beer and cocktails. We tried the chicken 65 and chilli chicken which were good as well but the gobi 65 was a little dry and too soft for my taste. Even though the food was good, the state of service spoiled the visit for me.

This is located inside the Big Cinemas, Niles — which therefore has potential to get crowded. We were too hungry right from work and we ended up going there for quick food before we catch a premier of a movie. There were 3 of us ate 4 dosas — 2 plain, one chicken tikka dosa which was good and one keema dosa which was really good too. We also ordered gobi 65 which was authentic in my opinion — since it was not like Manchurian or anything — perfectly dry just Crispy Gobi, which was pretty good. Staff were prompt and got us food and the décor is pretty good. My friends also ordered Mango lassi — which tasted pretty good but wasn’t exactly LASSI — more like Mango milkshake. But we spent only 30 mins here before the movie, so HELL I liked the quick service. Actually as soon as we entered we asked — «what can we get in next 15 – 20 minutes» :D :D

The vibe is very«VIP» club lounge with modern, high back booths and satin curtains as wall dividers. As far as the food goes, it’s great– the chef is probably South Indian, so the food is nice and spicy! I got the mutter paneer and chicken biriyani, and both made me feel like I was in Telangana. Service is quick, vibe is relaxed, I will definitely be back!

My family stopped in for the weekend lunch buffet before catching the 1pm Tamil movie. How convenient that it is connected with the theater. As a(South) Indian, I grew up eating south Indian foods. In the US most of the restaurant are generally North Indian(which I am not a fan) and if a restaurant had south Indian food, it’s usually vegetarian. At Ruchi, I was pleasantly surprised to see South Indian non-vegetarian foods at the buffet such as Chennai Meen Kolumbu(Chennai fish curry) and goat curry(which had very tender pieces). An added bonus was that you get the option for freshly prepared dosas(rice crepes) or naan. I can’t remember if you can order both. Of course the south indian in us opted for the crisp dosas with chutneys and sambar(traditional lentil/veg soup/gravy) that was at the buffet. For someone who doesn’t have a sweet tooth, I enjoyed that they had some unique indian desserts which were not too sweet. The service was hospitable too. As a new restaurant, the manager came around asking us how we liked the food.
