This place is so happening it needs two listing on Unilocal to handle the volume of reviews, tips and photos…
NOT!
Calling this place a «fusion» shop is misplaced. At best, it is a confusion joint, as some people think it is Chinese food.
Nope. Just a poor imitation of Japanese American dishes.
NOTE: Sakura Express is the name on the wall.

So I have this guilty pleasure called food court chinese food… This place is in Patrick Henry Mall, and I always stop by whenever I’m shopping there.
My biggest weakness is bourbon chicken, and they can dish it out at this place. There’s another chinese place right across the food court whose bourbon chicken is just as good, but Sakura Express wins out because they frequently grill fresh teriyaki chicken in front of you, so you know it’s fresh. I always get a combo of those two dishes. Get a large soda, because you’re going to be on a delicious sodium overload.
