Lots of yummy bagels for great price. Love their fresh smoothies made on the spot.(For a boost of veggies, go with Green Goodness) Reduced my review from 4 to 3 for customer service. My collegues and i used to order the Aloha bowl pretty frequently to the point they recognized us. But they didn’t bother to tell us the size went to half its original size, for the same price. A huge part of the appeal was bang for the buck so we started trying other bowls at nearby locations. We all just felt it would have been nice for them to at least be up front with regular customers.

I used to love this place and come often many years ago. It’s never been the same since Shirley died. The staff is pretty friendly, the parking lot is horrible and the bagels are just alright(they used to be amazing). I grabbed a tuna melt on wheat. It was fresh, but fairly boring and bland, but it worked in a pinch. I wouldn’t make an effort to come here, but if you’re in the area, it’s worth a shot and much better than Subway(right next door).

Quality bagels with many sandwich options to chose from. It is better as a take away place and I would recommend calling ahead. We usually go to this location on weekends and its pretty quick!

Bagels are awesome but the quality and flavor of your muffins have gone down. The batter needs more vanilla flavor or something. I always order the blueberry and chocolate chip muffin and bland bland bland. Please bring some flavor back in the mix!

It’s a great spot. The bagels are pretty good, and the women who work there are very sweet. I’m all about local businesses, and this is no exception. The prices are a little much for what you’re getting. Granted I was spoiled in NY where I got a breakfast bagel sandwich with a coffee for $ 3, but the same combo here cost me almost $ 8. Is it worth it? Yeah, because it’s delicious, easy, healthy, local, and still cheap when compared to anything else in the area. Their coffee is legit too! I’ll update as I try new items.

Great place to go since its closest to my house and I’m going to try and no insult the people working here although every time I’ve gone they’ve forgotten something. Easiest job in the area I’m guessing, take a bagel throw a few things on there and put it on a bag. Yet it’s NEVER that easy! Then they look at you like you’re wrong for asking them for the rest of your food. Time to clean house and find people who passed middle school!

Got bunch of bagels delivered but found them to be just average in taste and bread was also not particular edible as it became too stiff. Reheating didn’t help either.

I love Shirley’s. The bagels and coffee here can’t be beat(well, assuming you live in Orange County and not New York or somewhere that’s known for the best). They also serve Kean Coffee here which is miles ahead of Starbucks. They are conveniently located on my way to work, so I usually stop by once a week for a latte and bagel. Very friendly employees too!

Fresh, hot, good variety of bagels. Ate here while waiting for car to be serviced at the dealership. Located in uninviting strip mall and the tables could be wiped clean. Prefer the Costa Mesa location, however definitely enjoyed the bagels. Jalapeño cream cheese and Lox cream cheese were our choices.

3 stars simply for the food. Usually go to the one in Laguna once a week for a good reason. –1 star because My husband and I ordered. We were given the same number as someone else, so my husband asked how will I know what number I am? The lovely elderly Mexican woman said she would hand it to us. Little did she know my husband is FLUENT in Spanish and heard her call him a stupid white boy. Granted I didn’t know this until after we left. We are NEVER coming back here again. Thank you so much for being a coward and not having the balls to talk to my husband with such disrespect in English. But we heard you loud and clear regardless. Such a disappointment. Definitely sticking to a different spot from now.

As a native to NY/NJ I grew up on bagels. Most of the bagels I’ve had since moving to Southern California are just plain sad. They more closely resemble a roll with a hole, than an actual authentic bagel. Shirley’s is the exception. The bagels are genuinely good… not just good for OC bagels. I love the Californian on a salt bagel.

Best word to describe this place: YUMMY! This place is perfect for a weekend brunch or even breakfast before work. They have delicious lattes with lots of flavor options. BUTTHEIRBAGELS!!! Yum, fresh made and sooooo good. Only downside is their lack of seating but there is a cute park near by which is perfect to seat and eat your bagel at. The bagels here made me think I was back in New York :)

I love this place and everyone that works here. I come here for the last 5 year if not more than that. But it is such a shame reduce in half the size of the Açai bowls. It would be nice to offer two sizes instead reducing of in half and dropping some cents as a compensation. I am not gonna drive in here just to buy Açai anymore, I rather buy it by my house. Thank you for all this years.

Love the product. Hate the service!!! I walk in. Waiting at the register for the girl to take my order… But I have to wait till she is done scrolling thru her Instagram. No. Seriously! I stood there… While she was on her IG. Then I order and I’m a bit in a rush, cus I need to get to work. Well… The entire staff just had their morning huddle or something… They all just stood around laughing about something…(My Spanish isn’t so good). I’ll still come back cus I love their food here. They need to work on their service though. Disappointing.

One of my best friends took me and my wife here for breakfast and it did not disappoint. The bagels are so good and they hook up the toppings in the bowls of acai as well. Great coffee as well, I highly recommend.
