Newport Lexus Cafe

I came by this Lexus dealership to get my car maintenance done. Little did I know that I had to wait an hour to get my car done, so my lunch was postponed by an hour. I wasn’t sure if I could survive until my lunch plans, so decided to grab something to eat here.
I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Panini Combo (~$ 9) with an additional iced tea. The panini took a good 5 minutes to come out. I didn’t realize it would take so long to heat a sandwich up. At least I had my iced tea and potato salad to suffice during my wait. I have to say that the food itself is your typical sandwich and potato salad. This isn’t any gourmet meal, so I’m not expecting much. I saw the menu said complimentary coffee, tea, bottled water, so I suppose it’s a different type of tea that’s free when I asked for an additional iced tea. That confused me as well, but I was already upset that I had to wait to care.
I drive an hour out to come to this dealership only to wait another hour to get my car serviced only to get stuck eating at this café. But I have to thank them for at least having this café or else I would be stuck at the dealership with nothing at all –starving and transportation-​less.

Delicious food and deserts at fair prices, plus friendly staff make this a home run every time! It’s worth stopping by for lunch or take out even if you are not buying a car or having service performed. Great atmosphere!

When I purchased my car a couple of years ago at this Newport Lexus dealership in Newport Beach I had no idea at the time that I would become such a big fan of their customer service.
This also goes for the group that works at the Newport Lexus Café. I actually sometimes just pop in there just to eat lunch and see what they have for sale in their boutique area — if not to buy anything at least to talk to Jennifer who is always friendly and showing me the new stuff that always comes in.
The food is very good as well as their people being very friendly — that too is something I didn’t anticipate when I purchased my car, i.e. going to lunch there in the future. I always thought car dealerships were there just to get your car serviced, washed, or for purchasing a car. It never dawned on me that I would actually like going there for lunch and just to visit…
Anyway particular mention goes to Janette (sp?) — she is far and away one of the reasons why I keep coming back there for lunch. Janette goes out of her way on all levels-​including helping me in the game room which I’ve grown fond and accustomed to going to when I get my car washed. It’s people like Janette that make up the Lexus café which thankfully I see more than the service people since my car that I purchased runs so well. Their breakfast burritos are actually very good as well-​if the competing food establishments around this Lexus café only knew what they were competing with they would realize that Lexus is giving them a run for their money. Thank you Janette — please don’t show your management this review so they don’t think about raising food prices, because they are very reasonable.
I should mention that when I do have to go to service Eric, Charles Munoz, and George (who I believe just started there) are top notch and the best of class when it comes to service representatives.
Anyway thanks again Lexus. Whoever thought about keeping customers coming back even for the minor reason of just having lunch at the dealership — had a very good idea-I’m looking forward to purchasing my next automobile there. Probably after I have lunch there first. Tom West

Food is good and relatively cheap. Good to have lunch and get your car washed. Staff is friendly. Free coffee and water.

Really good food and fantastic friendly people! Every time I get my car serviced I’ll grab me a snack or two. If I’m staying a bit I’ll grab a sandwich, they are always really very good!

First time I’ve ever been there. Good food, good selection, great food service, and pleasant atmosphere. I’ll be back for sure!

For the money it’s the best salads in town, try the Greek salad it’s my favorite, yet I really enjoy there sandwiches, the way they make there tuna, it’s a must try

This place is a hidden gem for lunch in this area. Really good quality food at very reasonable prices and very nice and relaxed atmosphere. Way better than all the other standard fare around here. Try it out.

This is a beautifully designed café inside the amazing Newport Lexus show room with lots of fresh salad, sandwiches, gourmet Coffe and lots more with a great group of staff and Managment.
I often stop by when I come to the dealer for car services or if I’m in the area for a quick lunch.
It’s a show case of healthy& fresh salad mixes as well as soup of the day and great sandwiches! They also Serve breakfast.

The large latte and breakfast burrito were incredibly delicious. The burrito had the perfect ratio of potato, egg, and cheese. They even gave me a tapatio packet to go! Not only was my food amazing but the service of the café attendants was courteous and friendly. Highly recommend checking out the café!
