My daughter was having issues with her ear. She’s 2 years old and so I Unilocal!searched ENT doctors in Newport. I’m glad I did because Dr. Chironis was very accommodating and treated my child as if it were his own. She’s didn’t cry once. He prescribed antibiotics for her ear infection and she was feeling better within days. Thanks for the great experience.

I was asked, by him, if I have talked to a psychologist because I had tears rolling down my cheeks. I expected a specialist to help but was basically told, if it’s not on the tests I can’t help. So I had tears out of frustration. I was asked why I’m such an angry person because I was disappointed he couldn’t help. He asked questions that were on the paperwork I filled out, and he seemed to not have read the paperwork for both appointments. Told me my issues were not connected yet all issues were in my sinus, ear and throat. Hence seeing a ENT, so I thought. He said I was yelling yet I can barely talk because my throat is sore. I was told it was allergies, and nothing he could do. Yes I have taken pills and sprays. They don’t work so I was looking for help from him. There was no compassion or care. I felt like a child and was talked to like I was an idiot. Everything I told him was either ignored, taken lightly or he said was wrong.
I never expected magic but I expected help. Maybe even understanding or care. Instead I felt horrible, wasted time and money and back at square one. If you have issues and don’t know what is wrong, don’t go to him. He apparently can’t help you unless one test says there is something. (Even though my hearing test showed something and my scan had a slight issue) oh and he claimed to know what work was done on me 7years ago. And argued with me about it. Guess being there when it happened means nothing.
The front office girls were very nice and helpful. The dr was not.

He operated on my daughter when she was three years old (tubes in the ears) and now she is 20 and going to have a tonsillectomy.
He is very straight to the point, laid back but professional. We dig him. Waiting time in the office isn’t too long.
Sandy, the surgery scheduler, is really sweet and professional, too.

I was having severe pain in my ear while on vacation in Newport Beach. Ugh! A quick search for the nearest Ear Specialist, and I called Dr. Chironis.
When I called the receptionist was super helpful and squeezed me in right away. I had a stupid ear infection! I picked up my prescription and was soon brand new! Yay!

Dr. Chironis preformed my tonsillectomy, I was 21 years old and very nervous about the procedure. Dr. Chironis was absolutely amazing pre, during, and post-​op. I could not imagine a better practitioner and surgeon. He took his time explaining everything before and after the procedure. He is very thorough and I would recommend him to anyone! After years of bronchitis, strep, and catching too many colds in general, this surgery has changed my life! I rarely get sick (knock on wood) and I’m so glad I don’t have my very large A-​symmetrical tonsil anymore! Thank you Dr. Chironis and your team!

Do not go to him. He wastes your time by having you go in and billing you. I went to him last year due to my allergies. I wanted to see if I had a deviated septum. He ordered a CT scan. I followed up and went to see him after I got the CT scan and he told me the report came back ok but he would order it and take a look. Ok, so why didn’t you do that instead of having me come to the office? Once he supposedly reviewed the CT scan his office called and said i had a sinus infection and said i needed surgery. I went I for surgery was feeling good about it. When I woke up to could not breathe since my nose was plugged. And my throat was hurting from the tube. I panicked and so did the nurses. They said something to the doc and he didn’t seem to care. I ended up being fine and went home. I had two follow ups and I told him I still didn’t feel any better. Finally I had enough and decide to go to another ENT. He prescribed me antibiotics. Still no better, along with sprays. Finally ordered a CT scan turns out I have a sinuses infection again! In short I don’t believe I had an infection. I feel I got one after the surgery. I have pain in the back of my head every morning. I constantly spitting. It was a waste of thousands of dollars. This doctor is shady and doesn’t want to get you better, he seems to be interested on billing you more than helping you! Do not go to him. He spends maybe 10 mins with you and sends you on your way. Complete waste of time and money.

I went to see Dr. Chironis last year, March 2013 after struggling for six months with sinus infections. He had me undergo a CAT scan and said I needed surgery. The surgery was performed and that evening I began vomiting non-​stop from the pain medication. I called him as instructed and he seemed bothered by my call. Said it would pass. I went back to him in a few days as instructed and he spent about 5 min with me and said I was healing nicely. I continued to see him every few weeks for about 3 or 4 months. Because I was not getting better, he sent me for another CAT scan and said basically the surgery did not work. He then had me undergo allergy testing which his tech said he would provide treatment, but Dr Chironis said was not an issue. Because I had an ongoing cough from the sinus drainage, he send me to another doctor for treatment of the cough and washed his hand of me. I sit a year later suffering from ongoing sinus infections and the same issue I came to see him about in the first place. The only difference is I’m much poorer for having to pay him for surgery, the CAT scans and the doctor appointments. My recommendation, find another doctor.

Dr. Chironis is a true expert — went as a referral from a friend and found him to be very knowledgeable and thorough. I wasn’t exactly sure what the problem was when I went in and he was extremely helpful in identifying some sinus issues I was having. I l plan on returning for treatment and am thrilled with his attention to detail and service. Definitely would recommend again!

Dr. Chironis deserves every star I just gave him. He saved the day and I’d trust him with my life. Don’t hesitate to do the same.

Someone else did surgery on my sinuses and turbinates that was not successful. Dr. Chironis corrected the problem for me. I can breathe now and have relief from chronic sinus problems and infections. I am impressed. He corrected a botched surgery on the first pass and patched me up. Everything is great now. He knew immediately what he had to do to fix me up. He did everything right on the operating table. I am fantastic today because of him.
I highly recommend Dr. Chironis. He is skilled at what he does. He knows his stuff.
He is a nice guy. He is approachable. He has a good bedside manner. I like him.
