One Brain & Spine Center

Dr. Louis was very personable and professional. He took his time helping to explain the damage to my mother in laws spinal cord and what type of surgery and treatment would help her. He has a group of colleagues that he presented her case to seeing if there were any other options for treatment. I am going to schedule an appointment for myself to have him see why my fingers are going numb.

We do not take a trip, a trip takes us «John Steinbeck » Doctor Robert G Louis and his assistant Jenine are remarkable. He treated my daughter like his own. That was the promise he gave me while he performed surgery on my precious daughter at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. His assistant’s professional and caring attitude ice on the cake. I forever indebted to Dr Louis for his out most care of all his patients. He treats them just like his own family. The case was quit rare, so if any «One «, needs care of spine and brain, just make sure to check with the team of one brain & spine center especially Dr Robert G Louis … wish I could create more star !!! This review is for Dr. Robert Louis at One Brain & Spine Center. I can’t thank him and his team enough for the work they did for my mother. My mom had been suffering from migraines and pinched nerves for over a year. It was finally discovered that she had a tumor on her pituitary gland which was also causing some vision lost in her eye. My mom was sure she did not want anyone opening up her skull to remove the mass. She did much research and found Dr. Louis who offered a minimally invasive procedure; a procedure that went through the nose instead. After a long day, my mom came out of the operation in better shape. It’s been over 7 weeks since the operation and my mom is doing fabulous! She’s back to her regular life and routine with plans to go back to work very soon. My family was so worried but Dr. Robert Louis and his collaboration with Dr. Kelly saved my mom’s life. Thank you.
UPDATE: Had to drop this review to three stars. My mother was never told that Dr. Kelly was NOT in her insurance network. She trusted Dr. Louis when he suggested Dr. Kelly for her nose doctor; who was to perform part of the surgery. My mother recently received a huge bill for Dr. Kelly’s services. She was mortified to discover that Dr. Kelly was not in her insurance network. I understand that these two doctors have some sort of agreement with referring one another but it’s bad practice not to let the patient know that the doctor they are referring is not in the patient’s network. Or at least warn the patient to check for themselves if the doctor is. We are still waiting to hear back from their offices on this matter.

Meeting Dr. Robert Louis was life changing. After suffering with sciatica for several months I met Dr Louis. He is kind and compassionate and listened to my concerns. I had surgery in February and have 100% relief from my chronic pain. The staff was organized and knowledgable and made navigating the insurance world a breeze. He works out of Hoag Hosiptal so you know your are in good hands there. I highly recommend to give him a call if you have back problems. Thanks Dr Louis
