Salon Masoero

I have been going to Salon Masoero for about a year now, (maybe longer). I love how Gina is willing to work with me, making sure my hair is just how I want it. She helps me find ways to save money without sacrificing my experience.
Gina is knowledgeable, professional, and funny! I always look better when I leave, but more than that, I feel better. I am moving to Olympia from Renton and I am not changing salons. Gina is worth the drive!

I really wanted this to be my new salon! Gina is VERY nice, and her salon is built into her house, and is also very nice. However, my haircut did not turn out very well. It ended up being much shorter than requested, and is uneven in the back. I’ll need to grow it out to get it corrected somewhere, so stuck with an uneven cut I didn’t want for at least two months. Pretty disappointed. :(Hopefully it works out for others!

Salon masoero is my second (home) as I have the privilege of working there every other month doing permanent cosmetics procedures. Gina is a fabulous Hairstylist that maintains on the cutting edge of our industry.

I have been coming to this salon for 20 years with my whole family. Not only is Gina an experienced professional and color expert, but she is a also a whole lot of fun. The people who come to her salon — located in the basement of her home in Newcastle — become friends. This is really a different experience from going to a chain salon in the mall.
I trust Gina to know my hair and what looks good on me — we have tried LOTs of different things over the years. She will study the shape of your face and weight and growth pattern of your hair and let you know what options would work best for you. If you are up for a different experience from the cookie cutter — give Salon Masoero a try.
One more thing — there is a massage room and Sonia can give you a massage before your haircut with prior arrangement. She is amazing. Really, really good and has helped enormously when I had injuries, problems (neck, shoulder, knee) or when I just wanted a great relaxation massage.
There are a lot of loyal followers who come from a long way away to go to this salon, so you should expect to wait to get in on a Saturday. Weekday appointments are easier to schedule.
Give it a try, you won’t be sorry.

CAN I GIVE 10 STARS? Gina is awesome… I went to Gina after using the same gal for over 10 years and Gina totally transformed me… EVERYONE loves my new look and she makes me look pretty when I leave her salon… Thank you. It is hard to style my hair with all its issues and she just totally worked through those issues and made it work. My son also is a HUGH fan of Gina — at 15 they have to have their style just right!!! Gina showed him how to work his hair so it will do what he wants… Thank you for that too!!! If you can make a 15 year old boy happy with his hair you are a miracle worker :) Thank you for all you do… Love your knowledge and insight every time we see you. I relocated to the Seattle area 4 years ago and needed to find a new salon. A friend recommended Salon Masoero and of course I was nervous because I had the same stylist for the last 15 years. Gina instantly made me feel welcome and comfortable. I was impressed with her knowledge of hair color and applications to help my hair adapt to the weather change (I used to live in Southern California). I now visit her salon every 6 weeks and her service has been excellent. The atmosphere is fun and she always has new products or information to share. If you are looking for a new salon I would give Salon Masoero a try!

Salon Masoero is a beautiful salon inside and out. It is the type of place where you immediately feel a sense of calm and comforting this is due to the care to detail. The owner Gina is very kind and knowledgeable. She is a stylist who know how to listen to her client and give you what you want and educating you on your needs.
I love this salon because it is like you have your own exclusive place to go and get beatified, completely different from than other so called salons that are more like a restaurant hair care.
This salon also has spa treatments as well so you can make it a full body /​mind experience. Thanks Gina so being so wonderful.

This Salon is hands down the best Salon in the north west. Do NOT waste your money anywhere else. Salon Masoero has the best of everything and it would be crazy not to call and set up an appt. right away!

Gina is the best you can get on the Eastside. She always knows the best style for me and I just let her do my hair whatever she thinks looks great and it always is. She’s great with color and besides being professional everytime, she is fun to visit with. So very accomodating, I had to go a trip and needed to updating my color. She’s so understanding of the professional presentation that she made room in her busy schedule to squeeze me in. She’s always got something new and exciting to share, some great idea, service, local place, etc.

I have known and gone to Gina at Salon Masoero for just about 20 years, and I am only 27. She is the ONLY person I trust with my hair. She does my hair, my parents and my brother. I have also recommended her to friends and they love her too. She in a wonderful person and fantastic with hair.
