Food is ok tastes good but my moms food was almost cold, waitress gave us the worst service ever, place looks nice but the service makes me think twice about going back there.(el servicio estuvo malo, la comida casi fria, tuvimos que pedir que la calienten mas. El lugar se ve bonito pero el servicio lo arruina todo) sonreir no cuesta nada!!!

Unscrupulous. I ordered from their website menu only to have them charge three dollars more because another menu showed a higher price. Regarding the food: This is a average cevicheria. For lunch or casual dinner this place is worth visiting. The ceviche is good and the corvina in salsa marisco is a nice dish($ 15 or $ 17 depending on the menu they give you). The service is fine.

Just left this place food was OK the rice was cold. Prices were OK. Service was the worst service I ever experienced. Very unfriendly. I seen the waitress look at my credit card And show it to the other one and they laughed to each other. I said thank you she said nothing when my husband said it. She replied. I felt like there were being racist toward me cause I wasn’t Hispanic I would never ever go there again. Even if it was free.

Was in the ironbound today and wanted to get some huevos rancheros so I stopped here, not impressed. It was right before lunch and my husband got a type of ceviche, $ 17 and it was nasty… He took one bite and that’s it. The server even asked if we didn’t like which he replied that he didn’t enjoy it and she didn’t ask to get us anything else. I got yucca frita and queso blanco, it was good as expected considering its fried yucca and queso sliced on a plate. No frills, won’t be back.

The food was amazing, and the portion was huge and worth the money. Highly recommended.

the worse experience ever. the first 2 times i went it was great, food was delicious, and made me come back a third time but i went today and they have new waitress that do not pay attention to the customers. I literally had to get up to ask for napkins, plates, another soda/thats ridiculous. also, the food was horrible. who’s cooking there? honestly i will never go back there.

I would say any trip to the Ironbound district of Newark is probably best to include one of the many Brazilian or Portuguese restaurants that all boast moderate to high quality. There is one Ecuadorian place on the strip of Wilson Avenue that can satisfy certain needs though. Sabor Latino is a lot like many indistinguishable Latin places throughout the New York City area, you can ascertain its country connection through which flags are displayed. The interior is full of colorful football posters, neon lighting, and every surface that can be mirrored will be mirrored. As with many places, ask what is good and fresh today, if your Spanish allows… This one is not as good as the hornado restaurants in Jackson Heights, so not worth a long trip if coming from afar.
