This place gets 4 stars for the service and price. I ordered the ¼ chicken that came with rice, beans, and salad for only $ 6! The portion was extremely large and very filling that I could eat for 3 meals! I travel often and don’t know anywhere I could find such a great deal. The people who work there are extremely courteous and kind. The food is very plain however. If you are looking for a different kind of delivery option on a low budget with a healthy twist, this is the best place!

Yeah I’ve never had bad tasteless Spanish food until now. I gave them a two because the delivery was very fast but as far is the taste it was non existent. I had the chicken with rice and beans and plantains. I expect white rice to be bland but I thought the beans would take care of that… I was wrong. So i just ended up with tasteless rice soaked in tasteless beans. The chicken really wasn’t seasoned at all. The only thing decent was the sweet plantains which is pretty hard to mess up. Won’t be eating here again.

Ordered take out and it was delicious! The chicken empanadas are so good! I got the shrimp and rice combo and there were cooked perfectly not too greasy! Would definsteky order from them again

Were do i start, wanted to try a new place for lunch after an usual place close early for a day.
So here we go i placed an order with eat24 at KARPOLLO BBQ, decided to try Great Australian burger got my order in 4:30 pm an 1 hour later try to check on my order they say 30 min more, did not know burger cook so long.
Contacted eat24 they try to call them teal them driver got in an accident so i say let’s wait a little more… Another 30 min pass by were is the food this time i call my self but one one speaks any english all they say 30 min and hang up the phone. So i contact eat24 to call them again and they say 30 min you will get your food ok lets wait.
At about 7:00 pm i get a phone call from Karpollo, sir you will not get your food delivery guy car broke down we are backed up in order so NO FOOD FOR YOU.
THANK YOU, for wasting 2 hours and 30 min of my time
IF YOU WANT TO WAIT FOR YOUR FOOD FOREVER THIS IS A PERFECT PLACE
WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM HERE AND DON’T RECOMMEND TO ANY

Not sure about this place yet. I placed an order and they estimated delivery within 45 minutes I called 40 minutes later and they said I have to wait 30 more minutes they lady sounder like a child who answered the phone. I asked if they had dessert tres leche she said no and laughed. I’m not sure about it lets hope the food is good or else first and last time ordering.

Food was good. Service is terrible.
The green sauce is no PioPio sauce but it’ll do. What would have been nicer was for them to call out on their menu that the additional green sauce you can purchase is basically a rip off. We ordered on grubhub and couldn’t believe they actually charged us for the «additional sauce» and when we called them to confirm they didn’t leave anything out in our delivery they dismissed us with a «we don’t speak English» excuse.
The food itself was good but it’s still not PioPio.

So let me start off by saying I am extremely disappointed in the service I received from this place and I will never order from here every again I order a whole rack of pork ribs no sauce with ½ chicken with yellow and French fries and a side order of 14 shrimp for $ 8. So as I talk to the gentlemen on the phone about how many ribs you receive in a half he said «8 whole ribs» so alright but I ordered a whole rack with no sauce all they did was cut up a half rack in 2 pieces each thinking that I wouldn’t notice …then I receive 8 shrimp instead of 14 as well as they gave me white rice instead of the yellow rice I ordered., I was not satisfied I just got off work I wanted exactly what I ask for and not to mention they charge me 29.96… But i can say the food was amazing I enjoyed it very much just very bad with communication

Ordered pork chop steak and chicken meal. Everything was drenched in oil the toast ones were soggy. The only thing that was not was the chicken. Reported to grub hub and owner offered 5 dollars back on a 43 dollar order. That’s what I tipped his driver. Real Cheap. Do yourself a favor and don’t order from here

Great food if it gets to you. Ordered at 7. At 8 called and was assured on way. Called back at 9. Said order was never placed and chicken is no longer available.
But I will just go in person going forward as I dig their food.

I ordered last night using GrubHub. I ordered at 8:23pm and was told the order would be to me no later than 9:23. So when 9:38 came and went I called the restaurant and inquired about my order. I was told that it had just left the restaurant and would be there in about 15 minutes. The reason it took so long was because they had to «Order another fried pork belly and potatoes cause we ran out.» If they don’t make it in house, then who does make it? Once the food did come the aforementioned pork belly was full of uncooked fat and not seasoned at all. The potatoes weren’t even potatoes, they were yucca! I also ordered a ½ chicken with rice and beans. The rice was dry but boy was that chicken well seasoned and juicy. And the beans were full of flavor. Not sure though if that will cause me to order from them again though.

So Delicious! Order the ¼ Chicken platter. It comes with a small fresh salad, rice and beans. The Sweet Plantains and Yucca get two thumbs up as well! Fresh juice is great too — try the Carrot, Apple and Ginger.
I was surprised that I got so much food for such a small price :) and even happier that the food is so satisfying and healthy at the same time.
They deliver!

Great value on the portions. Not Peruvian as mentioned in details but Ecuadorian instead. Still good quality though. Order ahead though. Took 45 minutes when ordering for take out.

Amazing chicken. And here I thought Pulaski, Picnic and Mchorters had the best chicken in newark. FALSE! Karpollo is the best. Ordered because my dad needed, lol, yes needed, rotisserie chicken (pollo a la brasa) and the other guys were closed. These guys surpassed my expectations. The chicken was amazing, make sure you ask for lots of green sauce. AND they deliver! Will only order from here now.

The meals are huge portions. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. When I got confused and thought fries came with my order. They gave it to me for free. The food is delicious!
