Luca’s Farmstead Market

This market smelled phenomenal and had very polite and friendly service. This is a local spot for groceries and organic produce. This is definitely a must to stop for lunch or some snacks.

Amazing market! Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Love the baked goods & awesome food & produce assortment.

Stopped in to this pretty little market the other day while on a work break. Was immediately greeted (Sadly, not by who I assume is the owner) by a beautiful, fresh, locally sourced array of produce. Very reflective of Block Island itself.
The selection you will find here will almost entirely consist of healthier meal options and snacks, as well as a small deli counter, and prepared foods.
New Shoreham is like Europe in the way that everything costs almost twice as much as it does on the «mainland», so while I’d like to just mention that, I will say that it only reflected slightly negatively on this review. Shopping here would be a fun indulgence for vacationers.
Perhaps it was the work uniform, or my visible arm tattoos, but in my 38 years I have never received such a disgusted attitude from a shop person without any provocation on my end.
I declined to make a purchase due to the $ 10 credit card minimum, and left feeling pretty awful.
Hard to say if I will be back or not.
