Went to this place twice during my recent visit to Block Island. I cannot speak for their food and wifi but the iced caramel latte is on point, the service wasn’t bad either! I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for some quality coffee.

Solid little coffee shop right off the main drag and nearby National Hotel. Good brew, music and vibes. I’ll be going back a few more times before I leave this island.

Can this gem of existence travel with me everywhere I go? Please? This is all things happiness for me. The smoothies and coffee are fantastic and you can chill on their cute couches or snuggled up to a bohemian throw pillow. This is my first island stop hands down. Love! Ps. Cash only

I’ve always loved J&J but they’ve definitely gone down hill over the years. Seems like they’re more interested in art these days then juice & java. Hours are spotty and change with their mood that day. New competition is stealing their thunder and business. Stopped in last week to get a coffee and they were closed at 2pm but I was told they were setting up to open in an hour for an art show. Couldn’t get served so the new guy in town got my business. Im done. Get it together.

Best organic juice fruit smoothies ever!!! My twins said they were better than any place they ever had in NYC. Don’t visit Block Island without spending time here. Java is awesome as well.

I thought this place was pretty good! A little expensive though. I got an iced green tea with mint and an avocado, egg, and cheese on a roll. My boyfriend got a buttered bagel and a fruit smoothie. The total came out to be $ 23. So it was a little more than what I would normally like to pay but I was on vacation so why not! I was so happy with my green tea and sandwich. It was probably the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had! Overall, I would totally say go there. I will definitely be back when I’m back on the block.

An off the wall unique spot for coffee and juice a short walk from the main stretch by the ferry. The shoes off free spirits who inhabit the place can be a bit off putting as can the somewhat aggressive painters selling their wares in front. The coffee wasn’t as good as I expected from a local brew house. It was somewhat bitter and though I don’t normally take sugar, needed it for this. Also be prepared for a long wait as you are on relaxed island time here.

Ordered an iced coffee, which was kept in a water cooler type jug on the same counter where customers fix their drinks. The barista made a joke of telling us to be careful when pushing the handle to pour out the iced coffee, as 8 people had pushed too hard and had coffee come flying out onto the floor so far that day. This was sadly believable as the floor was slick with coffee which had not been fully cleaned up. Despite filling my cup with what was labeled as original, it contained French vanilla. This place wouldn’t stand a chance of surviving if it were not the only coffee shop on a small island.

For those looking for a true juice from this«juice bar,» you are out of luck. They make watered down over priced smoothies though. The only juice they have is bottled juice in a refrigerator. Never going here again

Grabbing coffee here in the AM will be a completely unpredictable experience. Sometimes it’s a cluster, sometimes it’s just fine. Coffee is good. Self-serve carafes of coffee are often out. If the coffee isn’t out, the milk likely will be. Bottom line… Bring your patience. You’re on vacation, so that shouldn’t be hard.

Good coffee, a bit on the expensive side. Like most other places on the island, they don’t take cards, so bring more cash than you’d ordinarily need for a non-island place. For the past few years we’d mostly bump into locals or seasonal people there, this year there were lots more tourists. Which was really annoying(said the tourist).

Great coffee and decent sandwiches in a small, inviting space. You can pass on the acai bowl and the smoothies are just average.

Still feel the same way about this spot-go for the espresso and not the drip, sad about lack of fresh squeezed juice and cold brewed iced coffee. Wanted to update because there are now some additional tasty food items for breakfast-most notably acai smoothie bowls with granola and fresh fruit on top and also a mix of fruit smoothies. Good spot for a quick breakfast in this part of the island. Also a very solid loose leaf tea selection if you’re not jiving with the java. Finally, some raw food bars by the cash register. These things propel me to upgrade my 3* review to 4.

I fell in love with Juice ‘n Java. This café’s atmosphere is warm and welcoming; the acai berry bowls are absolutely addicting. The music is a delight and owner Kelly has an cd of her own songs available, which I really enjoy at home. There is a selection of half a dozen different coffees, muffins, cookies, pastries, and the very best homemade banana bread I have ever tasted. It is a short walk from most of the lodgings in this island village. I am so missing my acai breakfast bowl!

Very good place for coffee and tea. They make awesome fruit smoothies and frozen and iced coffees. The ambience is very bohemian, the staff seem very chill and friendly. They sell art work there, too! ATM available, which is close to other shops you may wanna go to after a nice hot or cold coffee/tea/smoothie beverage.

Great coffee and drinks but it is expensive. Kind of hard to find if you don’t know where to look. Nice little spot to eat outside.

A great place located only a short walk from the ferry. If you need coffee to start the day or something cold to cool you off after a hard day biking around the island this is the place to go. You can get powerful espresso or smooth, unusual coffees from around the world. Or great pastries, dessert, bagels or muffins. Very fattening but very delicious. You can cool off with smoothies or strange frozen coffees. Of course they have the Block Island favorite, «Big Egg Sandwich» that will definitely fill you up. I even bought a stupid t-shirt as a souvenir. A must visit when you go to Block Island.
