This place used to be called the spot but under new management now, you know something I like it. Its never packed its nice and low key, they have a dart board, a few pool tables and I mean I am a local but there’s never to many people in there, I can’t stand when I see people from home who I don’t want to have a convo with its like ahh leave me alone. Bartenders are pretty cool and service is fast, and if big events happen they always have it on tv. Wish the space was bigger but I do like it

Downtown New Rochelle is actually quite cute, especially if you live there. If you live there, everything’s in walking distance, movies, restaurants, bars, a hotel … there’s no neighborhood to compare it to in Manhattan but in a way, it might feel like the Financial District /Battery Park. Because at night, it seems pretty quiet on the streets. From the outside, it looked very non-descript, white building, wooden door. But there was a warm welcome from the staff as we walked into the uncrowded bar area. It seemed there were tables in the back and a gaming machine in the corner, cool. Service was friendly. We ordered the chili fries & buffalo strips(I think). Nothing extraordinary about it but in hindsight we should have ordered them after my friend had downed like 6 – 8 Jamesons so I wouldn’t have had to prop him up as I walked him home. The other patrons, maybe some regulars, were quite friendly and didn’t mind entertaining their conversations. Same goes for the staff. If I was a New Roc Hell gal, this would be a neighborhood joint.
