I didn’t really love this place at first, until I got smart with my ordering.
ONLINE ORDER OPTION? YES PLEASE!
That’s a bonus, regardless of food. I will try a place JUST because they offer online ordering.
The chicken is very flavorful. Tear a little off the bone, place on a pita and add some BBQ sauce and hot sauce. Really good.
The Mac&Cheese is also very good — creamy and heavy.
The other sides are basic — nothing horrible, nothing extraordinary.
I like having a healthy option for take out, even if it might be salty. The prices are reasonable. Under $ 15 for dinner for me and my son — ½ chicken, 3 sides, extra pita bread.
Also, there are discounts if you use seamless as a first time user.
I will order again.

This place belongs on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives! Outstanding food in a little divey spot! Half chickens seasoned to perfection and thrown on to flamed open grills! Reasonable prices, great quality, delicious taste! The sides are pretty amazing too! A real shocker when you see the place, and a great surprise once you taste it!

This place is definitely to expensive the steaks are horrible… tasteless how do you tell someone that the steak I ordered does not come with flavor with was a porterhouse came out with a newyork strip still the same don’t waste you money definitely not worth it all. There drinks were super weak ordered a henny colada and couldn’t taste the henny there’s a serious problem there guys…

This was without a doubt a very disappointing experience. The location and décor is very well displayed. I am sorry to say that the service was very disappointing and will not return.
It is imperative that business owners pay close attention to the front of the house. The way your employees treat your customer is as important as how good your food is.

These guys have recently been added to GrubHub and are swamped with orders. After a mixup with our order (Manager Tony really took care of us because of this) we finally got it. Let me tell you — we ordered the Value meal. Chicken and ribs and 5 sides. UNBELIEVABLE. The meat is bbq’d TO FREAKIN PERFECTION!!! I absolutely love their food. The staff is friendly and super understanding. BEST BBQ I’ve had so far in Westchester!

In summation — tasty place but somewhat pricey for the portions.
Pros:
–Tons of healthy options like grilled chicken and baked potatos
–Friendly staff
–Good tasting food that isnt drowned in grease like many fast food resteraunts
–Delivery (pretty fast)
Cons:
–Even though i enjoyed their grilled chicken «sandwich» (with fries). It was 8 dollars and didnt really fill me up. And it was in roti bread. Not sandwich bread
–Expensive

Cheese burger was cooked perfect twice now. Grilled Shrimp sandwich was on point. Shrimp cooked to perfection. If ya want good food cooked fresh, this is the place. It is clean and well organized, the staff is friendly and all cooking is done in the open for customers to see, something I personally like. I will be going back to eat and would recommend this place to friends.

I hadn’t been here to Chickens Gone Wild for a while but I’m glad I stopped in there for lunch today. The grilled quarter chicken lunch special was awesome. Really tasty and cooked just right. The sides were great as well. The Mac and Cheese was a good consistency, as were the mashed potatoes. They give you hot sauce and barbecue sauce on the side which is nice, as well as gravy for the potatoes. Portions were very generous, the restaurant was clean and the service was timely and friendly. They also grill the chicken in front of you — just behind the counter so you can see the clean grill Overall a great value.

Remember these guys when they were Roaring Rooster at the current Planet Wing location. Rarely have anything negative to say about this place. Price and quality wise I find it a better choice than Ribs On The Run although the latter has sides that are much better. My favorites are the Half Chicken and Ribs w/​Pita and the Sloppy Grilled Chicken Sandwich.

Best chicken ever, it sure does beat any chicken place I’ve being too. Everything from this place is delicious and I just love the ribs oh god and the chicken not dry at all like many others which is great.

If you want a break from the norm. this is the place The prices were not too crazy when you consider the portions that ur getting, & the flavor! Delivery was prompt. Not bad @ all! Keep it up you crazy chickens!

The place isn’t what it used to be… to many ghetto students from Monroe now frequenting the place and working there… dont need to listen to loud ass hip-​hop music as i’m walking in. Also they have a sign that says fast food isnt good, yeah well how about making your mashed potatoes from scratch, you could tell its from the box… idk, the chicken is ok, but im not really reluctant to go in there anymore, maybe if they cleaned the place up a bit, there’s a film of grease all over the place

Good food at a decent price.
Been coming here on and off for lunch for a few years now. While they have a pretty good and varied menu, I usually order mainly the quarter chicken with the 2 sides. I do like the curly fries for the times I have ordered that.
The quality has been pretty consistent over the years. The only complaint I would have is that sometimes they will mess up the sides when calling in. I know it gets busy and I don’t really mind if I ordered mixed vegetables and get mashed potatoes instead, but not all customers are as easy going as I am. It hasn’t happened that often, but often enough to where I needed to address it.
During the lunch rush, it can get busy inside. If you’re coming for take out, I would greatly suggest calling in order ahead of time. Sometimes there’s a line inside and even though your order could be ready to go, some customers take their time while looking at the menu while ordering and it backs things up. For times like that (and it happens a lot), they need to have a second register for take out ready orders.
They have some tables to eat at if you want to dine in and there’s a sign that offers free Wi-​Fi, but it’s just too busy and at times, too hot for me to ever consider that.
Someone mentioned Boston Market — I never go to Boston Market… and never will. I’m not sure about the price differences, but for what you get and from what I’ve tasted, you really can’t go wrong with the price.
Staff has been generally friendly while I have been in there, so no complaints about staff. There is a minimum for orders under $ 10 for a credit/​debit card for those whole don’t carry cash around these days.
Located in a small parking lot, that can be busy near the entrance.
Overall a good option for good food that’s reasonably priced in the area.

If your looking for health fast food than this is the place for you. Their grill chicken is second to none.

Average chicken and sides. The food is forgettable, I can’t even remember what I had. I much prefer franchised Boston Market and their sides.
If you’re in the area and hungry, it gets the job done. Don’t expect miracles.

Terrible service. The young red haired girl at the register was rude and unfriendly. Ignored when I came in and not even a hello, just said what can I get you. Food was fast enough. Just won’t ever come here again as long as she’s there. There’s plenty of other places to go to where they are friendly.

I have been eating here for years, this place is very good. They serve food that is full of flavor with quality ingredients that are going to leave you feeling satisfied. I have tried every single option on the menu and loved most of it. My default order is this (you should get it too)
What you should get
— Cheeseburger combo plate with seasoned fries
ask them to sub the bun for a pita and put some thousand island dressing on the burger. If you don’t have thousand island, you might want to ask them for some of their BBQ sauce and make due with that.
— The mac and cheese is some of the best you will ever eat– period
— Ribs are amazing
I’ll stop here, I’ve given you enough information to offer you an amazing lunch and a great dinner. Try the cheeseburger idea and come back and thank me personally for changing your life. If you are having a bad day or just feeling down, stop in and get what I just suggested and you will find the balance restore.

Good prices, good selection, quality ingredients and food full of flavor.
Cons
A large majority of the foods come from costco and the restaurant depot. As a result, I have taken off one star because you can buy them yourself and make them at home.
With that being said, this is good food done correctly.

We get delivery service from this place when I visit a friend of mine in that area. Never really had a problem. The food is good. Would order again.

I came in here and got the ¼ chicken and ribs meal.
The sauce on the ribs was pretty lousy. The chicken was dry but seasoned OK. The spinach and MacnCheese were gross. The service here is excellent but they need to really step up their game in the food dept.
I’ll go back and try the sandwiches here. Maybe it’ll change my mind about this review.
