John and Peter’s needs to remove their sign… Moo has the BEST burger in town! The Moo Burger is perfect as is. You don’t need to add ketchup or mustard… it has Moo Goo… it doesn’t need anything else! The fries are always crisp. Save room for a shake — my favorite is the B&W! Anddd I love that the ingredients are local.

The good — our burgers, fries and milkshakes were all delicious. The bad — burgers are VERY small, they only have two choices and they don’t allow substitutions. We paid a little more than $ 40 for three burgers(yes, we had to split a third burger because we were still hungry), an order of fries and two milkshakes. Maybe if we’d each gotten fries we wouldn’t have needed the third burger but we wouldn’t have saved much money. When you factor in parking in New Hope($ 10 for a lot, if you aren’t lucky enough to find metered parking) you are looking at one pricey meal. We don’t mind paying for quality food but the extremely limited menu and small portions mean we probably won’t be back.

The black and white shake was the highlight of the meal. It was super cold and thick. The Sunny Burger was small yet tasty. The fries were a disappointment. They seemed shriveled and crumbly. I would come back for the shake alone. Maybe try a burger again. Skip the fries. Make sure to bring cash. No credit cards and one of those ATMs in the store with an exorbitant«convenience» fee sure to appear on your next statement. A little expensive as dinner for three came close to $ 50.

Sorry — had to take a star off — But only because the fries were kind of disappointing and dry. The burgers are delicious and the perfect size. Buns are soft, almost like challah. Service is friendly and they play great music. It’s a solid go to for us and our son when he comes back to visit. Would definitely recommend.

Let me start off by saying I hate pickles. Loathe them! Would never touch ‘em. But I would devour a moo burger because of the pickles. Thats how good this burger place is. Run by an amazing dude doing an amazing thing. Oh and milkshakes. Incredible. Bye bye Dairy Queen, hello the best burger place in the area.

For the LOVE of MOO! Moo only uses the highest qualitY of LOCAL products and offers in return an outstanding dinning experience. The Moo Burgers are TOPNOTCH and the other offerings are right behind them. I believe one word shall suffice… Amazeballs.

My friends are all obsessed with Moo. For months I heard nothing but MOO, MOO, MOO. «Moo has the best burger ever,» blah blah blah. I did not think they could possibly live up to my expectation, BUT, they exceeded it. The burgers here could not be better. I got the classic Moo burger, and it’s the perfect combination of everything, cooked perfectly, magical. Made me glad I’m not a vegetarian. The fries, the milkshakes – those are also crazy delicious, so delicious that I really had to stay away from them. And the guy who owns the place is super nice. There’s limited seating and the tiny interior has more of a cool industrial feel than anything remotely cozy, which is just fine. If you were eating that burger in a super comfy chair, you would probably never want to get up.

They recently closed their Ottsville Store and moved to downtown New Hope. I will miss them in Ottsville since it was right up the road from my house. I wish them luck in New Hope…

This is the place, the place where family’s treat a their kid to burger after an A in math, the place where commuters and travelers a like have memorized the menu, this is the place where a booze soaked bar hopper will find a moment of tranquility in restoring balance to their world. It is simple, the best kind of simple, a menu that can be understood in thirty seconds: burgers, shakes, and fries. The success of this simplicity are the ingredients! The meat is fresh, the potatoes are real!, and the shakes are directly derived from a collaboration between a unicorn and a wizard. I’m not commonly in in New Hope, but now I am keenly aware of one place there that isn’t full of the colorful language and undeserved prices that litter New Hopes food scene. This place is a amazing!

Moo, you could be my east coast In-n-Out. The classic was simply perfection. Piping hot patty, super fresh veggies, special sauce of the gods, a squishy just the right amount of bready delicious bun. And the milkshake, oh. the. milkshaaaaaake… Drool. And they served it with a proper milkshake straw. One of those big ol thick ones like you get when you get bubble teas. Moo, I love your staff, and your eats, and will be back!

I was very excited when I heard the my town was getting its own burger and shake place. A big juicy burger and frosty strawberry shake is without a doubt my favorite meal. Instead of that I received a box fresh hot disappointment. While the beef may be locally sourced, I’d like to see some evidence of that. The burger was flat dry and salty, served on a run of the mill potato bun, topped off with cheese, pickles, butter-leaf lettuce, and thinly sliced onions that were perhaps a day or two past their prime or possibly pickled? Surely not a good sign if i need to wonder wether or not the onion is pickled. I had come in with high hopes, as a god burger and shake is one of my all time favorite meals. Upon receiving my order, in what was more or less a small shoe box was almost immediately disappointed. After my first bite of the«moo burger» all I could think was, that if this burger were switched for a McDonalds quarter pounder with cheese i would have trouble distinguishing one from the other. The milkshake was as well a disappointment, while the sign out front claims locally sourced ice cream the shake is nothing but a cup full of soft serve ice cream. The high note of the meal was the fries, which while freshly cooked and rather tasty were unsalted, and served with a single packet a ketchup. In summary, if you find yourself in New Hope and in the mood for a mediocre burger, with fries and a shake, there is a McDonalds on your way out of town, which will deliver better food for half the price. What a disappointing meal. My condolences to the poor cow who gave its life for this burger. Moo burger, more like poo burger. I wanted to love you, but I just can’t pretend.

So happy Moo is in new hope. One more reason to come up here. Food is great, staff is awesome. The restaurant is clean and comfortable the menu is perfect. Burgers, fries and shakes are amazing! Sad to hear their Otsville location is closing however.

Very yummy all around. Burgers with special sauce are terrific. My wife and kids love the local PA beef burgers. I love the veggie burger. If you ask for no bun then they wrap it and lettuce for you!!! The fries were crispy and tasty

So as someone who has been supporting Moo for a long time now, I had to make the journey to the new location and see what it was all about. I ordered the classic burger with bacon and an order of fries while my buddy got a Moo Burger w/bacon and a Salty Dog shake… As someone who has had my fair share of Moo burgers, I was a nervous as I watched them cook the food through the kitchen window they have setup. But as I saw the patty comprised of local beef sizzling on the flat top, smelled the farm fresh bacon cooking, and saw them prepping the handcut fries… All those worries melted away. The burgers here are just as good as the ones being cooked up in the Ottsville location… Juicy, flavorful, and all around awesome. The new location, while beautiful, is very different from the setup in the original Ottsville location… As is the menu(it’s simplified). Some of the«Moo OG’s» might feel like this is a mistake but I feel like it’s a homerun… It fit’s New Hope’s vibe perfectly. From the sign out front to the seating inside it’s a different experience, but a welcomed one… I’m so happy to see Moo getting it done and doing it right!

I decided to try this newer burger spot out in New Hope for lunch. When you walk in, there are 3 items on the menu, which is written on a piece of card board. There is the moo burger, which I tried. It is fresh ground beef, lettuce, tomato, raw red onion, and cheese. The fries are freshly made too. It’s not a fast food spot with limited seating outside. Some people like to bring their dogs so the dog can watch its owner eat and make it uncomfortable for other customers to eat outside. That’s just rude people and not Moo’s fault, obviously. The place has good food, but the menu is lacking as it is still in its infancy. If they expand the menu, this place will be really awesome. Also, they need better menus and outside seating availability. **Thanks for responding to my review, Moo Crew. I’m glad you can take constructive criticism and I will return.

New burger joint in New Hope. Very simple menu. The food was tasty. It is sort of a combination of Shake Shack and Five Guys hamburgers. I now prefer Moo to both. Service was quick and efficient. The staff were friendly(although one guy was walking around with a really loud vacuum cleaner for a short while). *1. Hamburgers: two variations of hamburger with/without bacon. The two burgers are the Moo Burger and the Classic. The main difference to me is that the Moo burger has onions, whereas the Classic does not. No modifications are allowed, other that the addition of bacon. *2. French fries. *3. Milkshakes: four flavors of milkshake: vanilla, salted caramel, black and white, and chocolate.

I am taking 1 star away only because the food came out rather slowly(about 15 minutes after I ordered). With 2 little ones waiting eagerly for their grilled cheese and fries, it puts a little pressure on to deliver 100%. Otherwise, I enjoyed my 1st taste of MOO. The things that they promote(local fresh ingredients, simple burgers and fries, wrapped up nice) truly delivered! Although, I will admit, the burgers are a bit small(I got the Moink all the way). Next time, i need to order a double. Fries were definitely fresh, with not too much salt. Cashier was knowledgeable and quick. I did not have the appetite to try a salted caramel shake, but they did look GOOD! Kids each had grilled cheese and fries — very crisp and cheesy. Price was okay too, for what you receive. Can’t wait to come again.

I had to find out what all the hype was about and decided to make the drive to check it out for ourselves. They have a very very limited menu. By limited I mean, 2 different burgers only. They won’t add cheese to their fries and one of the burgers, they don’t allow you to add cheese to it. Communism much? Their menu is only available on their FaceBook Page. So, with all these limitation and shortcomings, I though the burger must be one amazing taste of heaven to get such great ratings. I have a theory about that but I’ll keep it to myself for now. The good: The burger was cooked to perfect medium-well temperature and if was very juicy and fresh tasting. Their fries are very good tasting, they are not greasy or have any oily aftertaste. They taste like amazing fresh potatoes that must have been just cut and thrown in few hours ago. Their hot dog had a very very good flavor and was well seasoned. The bad: The burger lacked seasoning and favor. It tasted like something that I can make in my back yard from maybe a 50⁄50 blend of ground beef/pork or lamb without adding any onions, seasoning, breadcrumbs. The sauce they use I can barely taste. Same with the cheese. There were very frugal with it. The produce(lettuce, pickles and onions) did taste great but I didn’t come here for the produce. I also got my burger with bacon, the bacon did taste greasy and oily. I kept taking more bites to see when I will actually taste a good tasting burger but it never happened. I didn’t even finish it. And my wife and I ended up going somewhere else for dinner. It was a very very boring burger. I’m sure it a very healthy and politically correct organic burger but man, it’s like eating a backyard burger at a distant family reunion that your paid $ 5 to get a meal. I was going to give this place 2 stars but then I thought about the price of admission. I am by all means not a cheap guy. But our bill came out to be $ 35 dollars and all we got was: 2 burgers + bacon, 2 fries, 1 hot dog and 2 bottles sodas. I don’t mind paying that or even much more for Emeril or Booby Flay Burger. But this place is getting away with robbery. I still can’t believe this place bets great reviews. Try it ourself, take the burger meat out and just try a bite of it by itself. Now ask yourself, how is it? And not allowing paying customers to add cheese(that you definitely have) to French Fries or other burger is ridiculous. Shake Shack beats this place hands down. Probably even Red Robin and Five Guys will beat them in a blind taste test. Moo? No, Boooooooo
