The food here is amazing, I got the broccoli cheddar soup and a plate for the salad bar. Everything on the salad bar is super fresh and amazing, but I feel it is simply over priced.

Delicious I love the muffaletta sandwich, they have a friendly kid menu, there is plenty menu items to choose from. It’s a very clean restaurant and has friendly staff.

Went to Jason’s deli for the first time and the food was good but I was a little distracted by the employees. I order my food and from a employee named Nick he seemed to be an ok employee but I couldn’t help but feel ignored while I was ordering. After I got my food chicken Alfredo witch a little watered down I noticed the same employee flirting with a fellow employee and making sexual gestures towards her. It was a bit disturbing and made me actually not want eat any more when I walked to the restroom and saw them making out behind the restroom wall. She was about 18 by the looks of it and he was at least 24.

Thank you for offering gluten free and organic options!!! It is so hard to find a restaurant that doesn’t buy super cheap pesticide produce. I eat at Jason’s at least once a month because I know that I am not putting horrible poisons into my body like at other restaurants.

This is a great little Panera knock off with great options for a quick lunch or a light dinner. I was able to easily veganize a wrap and had steamed veggies as a side. I had a hard time finding solid vegan options in New Braunfels, but I really enjoyed my meal here. I’d go back if I ever happen to be in the area.

So I give 4 stars because i only eat one thing and it is always good. The Turkey sandwhich on GF bread with pickles. yum! The sandwhich is consistent at every location(which is awesome) and the customer service here is great too. The establishment is clean and the salad bar looked nice too. They do have an egg shortage right now and so no egg for the salad. They make sure to do a separate cutting board for the sandwhich and they put a sticker on top of the container telling you that the food is good for gluten sensitive people, but NOT Celiac individuals … I do love this extra precaution for those with this horrible issue. I will definitely be back when in New Braunfels.

Love the salad bar and many dishes, like the«Fro»(french onion soup) and the Muff(muffalata) but I am on a diet so I got a salad bar and the vegetarian vegetable soup. The soup literally tasted like they scraped the bottom of a wet forest floor and dumped the wood shavings, leaves, moss, worms, etc, in a pot and boiled it, then added two kernels of corn. I couldn’t recognize anything else in the bowl. Disgusting. I gave it to my dog. Salad bar rocks! Steer clear of that soup.

This was my second visit to Jason’s. I thought it was a local family owned deli, not a chain, and I say this because the service was so friendly that you felt the employees had a stake in the success of the business. We went there on this visit for a late lunch/early supper. I ordered the cuban panini while others had pizza, the ranchero wrap, and the salad bar. The sandwiches were tasty and the kids enjoyed the pizza. The salad bar offered a wide assortment of fresh offerings. The bar was well maintained. The floor staff was very attentive and friendly. At a nearby table some of the staff were taking a break from the day. I noticed who I assumed was a manager checking that the counter staff was able to handle the influx of customers. He would get up at any moment to ensure that customers were getting immediate attention. Impressive. I noticed that there’s a Jason’s Deli near to my home. I hope that it also offers the same level of service as this one in New Braunfels.

I usually come here for the gumbo, which I find pretty tasty. This location is always busy and at lunch, your sandwich can take as long as 20 minutes to cook. Today, I wanted a roast beef poboy, so I ordered a Beefeater, a ½ pound thinly sliced roast beef topped with melted provolone with aus jus on a freshly toasted New Orleans French baquette. I had them add lettuce and tomato to make it a real poboy. The beef was lean and generally had no flavor like garlic and need a lot of salt. The bread was delicious and held that ½ pound nicely. I don’t like how they halved my sandwich, which took away from my poboy experience. I’ll prevent that next time. They also added leaf lettuce; I wanted shredded or even chopped like they have on the salad bar. The aus jus was a salty mess and just plain awful. This is a filling sandwich and costs $ 8.99. I may try the cornbeef next, as I’m afraid they won’t get my poboy right, even with careful instructions. This place is just too mass produced to ask for any substitutions and hope it meets your desires.

Jason’s Deli has been a family favorite for many years but I can say that I will not return to the New Braunfels location. Recently my parents visited the restaurant. My mother ordered the salad. When she found a green beetle wandering around in it she alerted the girl at the counter who then sent the manager over. His reply was well it is organic lettuce and that’s what happens. Okay so maybe that does happen. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I ordered a sandwich tray and a vegetable tray for my daughter’s birthday gathering on Wednesday 3÷11÷15. I woke up in the middle of the night with chills, severe nausea and vomiting. My husband came down with the same symptoms the next day. My 77 year old father has been experiencing severe diarrhea and vomiting for 2 days. The only common denominator was the sandwich tray. I phoned the manager on Thursday to inquire if anyone else had reported getting bad turkey. Manager took my number and said someone would get back to me. Its Friday night… Still waiting… NEVERAGAIN!!! I’m only giving them 1 star because they make you.

I cannot believe the lack of service I just experienced at this location! I used to come here at least 2x a week when I worked in New Braunfels and everyone was friendly, polite and courteous. Today, I went to pick up my togo order and can’t even believe this is the same place I used to come to. An employee asked me if I needed help, I told her I was there to pick up my togo order. She looked for it, doesn’t find the food and looked for my order confirmation. I stand there, wait, she presents my receipt. I assume I needed to sign it so I did. She walked away and started working on my order. She didn’t give me any kind of assurance that it would«only take a minute» or «be ready quickly». I take a seat. There were other employees in the«togo order» area and NOONE asked me if I needed help. A few minutes passed and my name was called. I took my order and she said«here’s your receipt» and tossed it in the bag. No «thank you» or any parting words for that matter. I love coming here for a quick meal because its delicious and somewhat nutritious. In my opinion, the food shouldn’t speak for itself nor should the brand. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back.

Only once have I been disappointed. Chicken Pot Pie and Gumbo will warm you up. Love their chicken Alfredo and chicks caesar salad. I usually build my own sandwich. I have only had friendly service and the price is reasonable for the quality of food they serve.

I love Jason’s Deli, but this locations’ service is horrible. We called to get something delivered, but apparently they don’t deliver on Saturdays at 6pm. Then we had some one go pick the order up. $ 55 and a 30 minute drive later, she returns with half the food. They didn’t give us half our order. It was written down and we were charged, but we never got it. They said we could come back and get it, but being 30 minutes away and having things to do, it wasn’t really worth our time. Sadly this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. Not sure if I’ll be giving my money to this location anymore.

In Texas Jason’s Deli is as common as Whataburger(ok, I’m exaggerating). However, Jason’s are everywhere and offer a chance to avoid greasy and unhealthy fast food which litters the state. For soups, a salad bar and sandwiches it’s going to be a challenge to find a better place in town than this. I’d recommend the manager’s special(half sandwich and half soup or salad bar). And, ditch the baked chips and go with the blue chips and salsa. YUM.

Horrible horrible horrible. If you are going to come here for lunch and you think ordering to go will by pass the long wait you are absolutely wrong. I am a huge fan a Jason’s Deli typically but this location is not a good representation. I ordered to go for pick up because I had an appointment to get to. The rep who took our order stated it would be 15 to 20 mins. We show up 20 mins later and sat and waited for an additional 25 mins. 45 mins to make 2 sandwiches is RIDICULOUS! Then we we think it is ready they send back one of the sandwiches because they made the wrong one. We will never come back to this location again. They didn’t even apologize for the long wait. Horrible service thank goodness the food was okay.

It’s good. I come about 3 times a year but every time I’ve ordered a wrap or panini it is fresh and tasty. Service is fast.

We came in today for lunch I had to ask someone to change out the cottage cheese because it was rotten the lettuce was rotten the cucumbers were old it was beyond pathetic and when we made mention to the manager it never did get swapped out. I’m in utter disbelief that the manager was so flippant about the quality of food never coming back

Just for the record, I could bathe in Jasons Deli Roasted Red Pepper Hummus! I could sit and eat a whole bowl of this delicious spread in one sitting. If you hand me some of their delish baked garlic bread I’m in heaven and please cancel all my calls :) JD has a great salad bar selection so much so that when I’m done I don’t even need to add dressing to top it off. The delicious flavor combinations burst in your mouth that adding any type of dressing will spoil the dish. If your not much of a salad person, just request a loaded potato! You can request to top it off with any type of meat(turkey, beef etc.). Get a side of the broccoli and cheese soup to any order, which is creamy and filling. Stay away from their Mufalletta sandwhich, real disappointment and not the same as the way they make them in New Orleans! After I’m done I always pour myself a hot tea, either their Chai or their Ginger, makes digestion blissful!
