I came here with a friend today for coffee and a nice chat. It was wonderful! We both had a white chocolate mocha, which was FRESH, sweet, strong, and delicious! We ate a cinnamon muffin that was moist and crumbly at the same time! It is such a cute little place to sit for a nice visit with someone; they have outdoor seating, as well, for when the weather is beautiful. Prices are pretty competitive with what most small business coffee houses charge, but definitely less than Starbucks and better quality! They really take their time with your drink and make it how YOU want it! Can’t wait to come back for an afternoon coffee here!

So wonderful! The Texas Pecan roast is amazing!!! We drive from Austin fairly regularly to get bags of coffee to take home! The Country Punkin is another favorite. Truth be told, I have not had one bad thing there, but really it is all about the Texas Pecan for us. We have turned a few friends on to it and they love it too! Try it, you’ll like it! ;o)

Great little coffee shop with non-commercial feel. Staff is friendly. I forgot to ask for a mug therefore I got a generic almond milk latte with no coffee art in a to go cup. The coffee itself was not anything extraordinary but I didn’t get a flavored latte, just plain olé almond milk latte. Next time I will try a seasonal drink for sure. I love the outdoor patio.

We found nothing wrong with the service, prices or product, however the feel is without passion. Its as if someone wanted to open a business and randomly selected coffee. The server was apathetic, unenergetic and when I had a simple question about how they steep their tea, her response(three times) was«hot water». As it turns out, their specialty teas are in bags. That’s a boooooo for tea fanatics.

Nothing like a little something hot on a cool day after a great meal at the Gristmill. We decided on a Warm Pumpkin Pie Latte and a Caramel Apple Cider. Both hit the spot while sitting outside in the cool breeze.

Great coffee, great atmosphere. Good music for a coffee house environment. The building is extremely quaint and a pleasure to visit and sit in.

Great coffee shop! An extensive menu and a great atmosphere! I had a non fat cappuccino and a slice of the lemon cake. Both were great. The lemon cake was really good!

Good coffee and cool coffee sleeves. Unfortunately when I went, they were understaffed so it took FOREVER to get my coffee. But overall solid coffee joint.

Gotta love a small family owned coffee house. If you only see the front that’s not enough. They have a sofa room in the back for peace and relaxation. Love the old times appeal.

Great coffee and good service. This coffee shop is in a great part of town. Better than Ft Worth Stock Yards.

The Greune Coffee Haus was a surprise find in the small town, on a cold and windy day. The interior was warm and Christmassy, and the coffee was simply the smoothest expresso I’ve found in Texas to date. Just the thing to keep your bones warm!

We enjoyed an iced coffee with heavy whipping cream, a blended pumpkin spice coffee drink, bought a pound of Texas Pecan whole coffee beans, i was pleasantly surprised to find they roast their own beans… and throw in a large cup of java when you buy a pound, i left happy… pound of beans under my arm, a hot cup of joe in one hand and an iced one in the other, great drinks and exceptional service.

Gruene Coffee Haus is a lovely stop to get some good old fashioned Texas friendliness and a caffeine jolt! As soon as you walk in you’re warmly greeted and allowed time to meander over their extensive menu. I’ll go with a cappuccino, their coffee will always get the job done. Gruene Coffee Haus is a prime location for students, business professionals, or Unilocalers to sit down and get work done without being bothered. Weekends are pretty busy but I go during the week and there’s always plenty of room to spread out. All beverages and goodies are offered at great prices and they offer different milk and sugar substitutions. Ask about their neat roasting process!

Nice spot. Went to Gruene with my wife to walk around and needed coffee. I can be a bit of a coffee snob so I proceed with caution. They roast their own beans here. I had the ice coffee. Well done.

This Place! First off– that Texas Pecan though! Atmosphere is neat. Menu is extensive. Employees are kind. But what I appreciated most was their low-cal/sugar free options. They have almond milk!!! And an extensive list of sugar free syrups. Most coffee shops have 1 or 2 but these guys have tons– and they’re great!!! I had an iced coffee(Texas Pecan) with sugar free coconut and a splash of almond milk. Tasted like an Almond Joy! Fantastic!

The cutest little coffee house that could is right in Gruene, TX. The have a pretty good selection of brewed beverages, and also offer smoothies and various sweet treats. The cinnamon coffee cake muffin was super moist and flavorful and the coffee hit the spot on a cold, wet morning. The prices are reasonable and the service was friendly. The spot is pretty small inside, but does offer a few scattered tables for those that like to hang.

On the day I passed by Gruene Coffee Haus it was an abnormally hot morning in February. I needed a pick-me-up to keep me shopping and decided to stop in for some ice coffee. Upon walking in the immediate cold air from the A/C hit my legs, face, and as soon as I smelled the aroma of the coffee hanging in the air I decided I was not going to leave without some coffee. I decided on the pecan coffee on ice which seems to be their signature coffee flavor. Boy, oh boy was it amazing! I ended up sitting for over an hour on their nice comfy couches as I watched about 20 other people come in and out of the coffee shop to get their fix. It’s a small tiny coffee shop that is connect to a pickle store that has such tasty and interesting treats, respectfully. There is a television in the corner to watch too if you decide to plop down on the couch like I did.
