While in New Braunfels for the night we decided to go bowling. The place was larger than I thought and really clean and organized. I was expecting to pay less than $ 100 maybe $ 60 – 75 for 5 adults and 1 child(2.5 year old) to bowl a couple(3 games). The total was $ 100($ 17/person). Blew my mind. I was charged $ 17 for a child who is less than 3-years old. But I paid. When I take him bowling at other venues I normally don’t pay for him just his shoes as long as any adults bowl and pay. So this was a first. The place is family friendly and were there on a Friday night so at one point the lights went off and the black lights and club lights came on which was fun for my kiddo. But that is when more drinking started with other parties around us. To be expected on a Friday night I guess. My last hour there, a small group of guys who were friends with a couple of guys working kept coming to give them free games and drinks. This was annoying because I paid and they did not. I don’t own this business but was annoying to have these guys acting the way they were who had too much to drink. We cut our last game short and left. The restroom could be cleaner, a lot cleaner. The parking lot was big and well lit. The staff was friendly. Price wasn’t what expected so I will not be back. I’ll stick to my normal venues in San Marcos, Kyle and South Austin where I don’t have to pay almost $ 20 for my son to half play because like all kids he has a short attention span.

Place is great during the week. Great prices for bowling. Drinks are a bit expensive but manageable. Food is typical bar food but okay if you’re hungry. $ 6.50 plus $ 2.00 for shoes to play for a good 2 hours is on point! I always go on Tuesdays.

So much fun! We are staying at the river and needed a night indoors. We happened to luck out on a Saturday night for blackout for two hours. We had such a great time. Very clean place, cold drinks, very helpful staff. Fun fun fun!

My first time here and I really enjoyed it. The kids can play for free during the summer with the card that schools give them. Clean place, so many bowling balls to choose. Friendly staff.

Went here this past weekend for my daughter’s birthday around 3pm and they had plenty of lanes open. They were busy, but not so busy that I didn’t get 2 lanes quickly. Fiesta has that same«bowling alley» smell that you find at all old bowling allies. It hasn’t changed in thousands of years and its still the same old bowling alley from when i was in high school(over 10 years ago). I don’t think its bad, but living in Austin I have seen shnazzy bowling alleys and then the«reg» bowling alleys(does that sound snobby? lol :/). They do have bumpers for kids, 4.50 a game on weekends and 4.00 a game on weekdays before 5pm. Shoes are 3.50 a pair and or 24.99 a hour for bowling. They have an eating area, bar, and a old arcade area. I would go back because well its nicer then the San Marcos bowling alley and its priced good. I did have a lot of fun and my nephews(2 ½ years old, and 17 month old) had a blast. My 10 year old loved it too. We had a group of 8 people and used 2 lanes.

It gets 5 stars. Smoke free(except for glass encased bar). Typical bowling alley food: greasy burgers, icees, nachos with yellow cheese, etc. Multiple of balls to choose from. They do a glow in the dark night which makes for fun times. Have kids? Bowling parties are a must. No clean up. 2 hours of food and fun. Can’t go wrong.

I have always had such good experiences here. The employees are super friendly and seem to enjoy helping the customers, even when the night advances and they grow tired. The food is surprisingly good(everyone should get a pizza!). This is why I was so surprised to have a bad experience recently. When my friends and I arrived for a 22nd birthday party, most people agreed that they wanted a beer. When we went to the bar, the bartender told us that if we buy pitchers of beer, we could take them to our lane. As we arrive to our lane, another bartender runs to us and frantically tells us that we have to keep the pitchers in the bar, but we can take cups of beer outside. We immediately went back in to the bar, understanding that in a family friendly place, they may not want pitchers of beer out in the open. So, this same bartender gave us the tip that we could each take two cups of beer out and it would be fine. Meanwhile, no one was carded. About 30 minutes later, we were done bowling, and we went back in to the bar for a few more drinks and some pool and darts, and I, being the designated driver, sat at the bar with a soda and watched baseball on the TV. I sat here for 45 minutes, occasionally bringing drinks to my friends, and meanwhile, no one was carded. Suddenly, the bartender needs me to get my id for him. I told him that my purse was in my car since I was not planning on getting drinks anyways, and I could go get it, but at this point I had already been sitting here for so long and handled alcohol for my friends, so it seemed like the moment passed. He told me that I needed to go get my ID or get out. I understood that the man had a job to do, and although I felt singled out, I went and got my ID. When I returned, the bartender was very busy with other customers, so I just sat at the bar and talked to my friends, who were all drinking without being carded. I sat there drinking soda for another full 45 minutes, with the bartender getting my friends next to me drinks, before he told me again to give him my ID or get out. I gave it to him and asked him why he was carding me when I am not drinking, but no one else has been carded. He said the previous bartender carded them when the group came in. I know this was not true, as I was with them the whole time, and the previous bartender got off work about 2 minutes after we arrived. I expressed to him that if that were the case I would have gotten carded too, and that it was kind of late for all of this anyways since I had been there for an hour and a half and had already brought other people drinks. He told me that talking back to him was bullsh*t. Needless to say, my friends and I decided this was way too much hassle to have to deal with a rude bartender, and we went to another place. I know the man was just trying to do his job, but it did not feel good to be singled out, especially not in such a rude way. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

This place is awesome. The staff is super friendly in a genuine way. The facilities are clean and mint vintage. This is a great place to bring the family. It’s also got a nice menu selection that has lots of variety.

My one complaint, NOWIFI If I want to «check-in» I have to do it from the parking lot since cell service and spotty and there is no Wifi inside. Come on, it’s 2013, even McDonalds has free Wifi!!! Ok, other than the lack of wifi, this place is great. My family has bowled leagues here for years. The staff keeps things running smooth despite the aging equipment. Sure, there are equipment breakdowns that disrupt play; I bowled in brand-new state of the art ally’s that had far more mechanical issues. The thing that sets the house apart for us is its youth bowling program. The volunteer coaching is second to none! In most houses, the only kids that get any attention from the coaches are the ones that bowl well or have been bowling for years. Not here, everyone gets help from the coaches. The kid that bowls 25 or 225, every kid is given coaching in all the basic of bowling. I don’t see favoritism for any kid over the others. Sadly, we recently lost a fantastic coach and corner stone to the youth program. Larry is sorely missed but, others have stepped up kids and the program keeps moving forward. This is what keeps us going back year after year!

I have been here once and had a great time! It’s small and kinda old school but I like that. Great staff and the place seemed pretty clean.

Had an absolutely delightful afternoon here with my family. For all intents and purposes, Fiesta Lanes is a bowling alley just like every other bowling alley I’ve ever been to. You walk in, pay money to wear shoes that thousands before you have worn and choose a bowling ball that thousands before you have thrown. I tend to think of bowling alleys as smoker’s paradise but this one was smoke-free. They have a full counter of stadium-style foods(nachos, hot dogs, cheese fries, gallons of cokes and beer, etc) and an arcade room for when you are just a bit bored throwing balls at pins. What Fiesta Lanes does right is being affordable. They have these bowling happy hours(Bowl Your Head Off Wednesdays for $ 5) that will keep your pocket book happy. They have several lanes, which is helpful to keep the crowds in check. Some of the equipment was broken and a bit dated, but the staff was always right there to help us get back into the game. All in all, if you’re in New Braunfels and looking for a place to escape the heat, give Fiesta Lanes a shot. Lots of fun!
