Fantastic Sams Hair Salons

We walked in right at opening with our 2.5 year old to get him a haircut. The older lady we had cutting is hair was super unprofessional & rude. My wife wanted to have him sit on her lap that way he wouldn’t move as much (We have tried the other way & he hates it.) The ‘stylist’ said that ‘He needs to build his confidence. It’ll be hard for me to cut his hair this way.” My kid was still ~80% of the time but she butchered his hair. All of his bangs were hacked immediately & the back of his head was super choppy. My wife made a comment that she didn’t like it & the lady got super ‘huffy & puffy’ with her & began talking to her coworker in spanish (nothing wrong with that but tell us what you’re going to do to fix it at this point.) & began hacking away again. She also clipped the back of his ear & he began bleeding. Very unpleasant experience. Terrible actually.

I moved here from Houston and am so happy to have found Jennifer! After much searching, she was recommended to me and I am so thankful. She has an artist ability that amazes me when it comes to my hair. I can tell her, show her a picture, etc. and she gets it right every time! I have short hair that needs colored and trimmed quite regularly. The cost is very reasonable too and I seem to always find a coupon with their rewards program. Today I added eyebrow waxing to my appointment and again was very pleased. Keep up the good work Jennifer! I have found my stylist.

I would give this place zero stars but there is no option for that. My husband and I walked in today during a busy time and put our name on the list, asked how long it would be and then sat down. A few short minutes later, he was called back by someone who looked like a manager of some sort. She stalked back to her chair, without introducing herself, and then raised her hands to my husband in a way that was like «Well, are you coming or not?» He walked back and showed her a pic of what he wanted (nothing complicated, essentially a flat top, military style haircut). She immediately said, «That’s a flat top and I don’t do flat tops.» Given her attitude about everything up to that point we said thank you very much, and left. As we were walking out, she said something to the effect of, «well, someone else here can do that cut for you.» Given the lack of friendly, welcoming, interested in what you as the customer wants, level of customer service, I would NEVER go to this place again.

since there is no «zero» star review, i must leave a «1». the woman who cut my hair never asked me any questions, or even talked to me, just spent the whole time talking with her co-worker.actually, just trash talking about other people and the owner. i ended up with the same haircut as arnold from the terminator in the 80’s. please don’t give this establishment your hard earned money, there are too many other places that would serve you better than these drama queens. shame on them.

I was told there was a 10 to 15 minute wait., then was told it would be more like 45 minutes. They waited my time… very poor customer care.

We had a good experience here. I had the lady cut my 4 year olds hair. He was not happy about it but she was kind and patient. I will probably go back.

This location is in the HEB parking lot in New Braunfels; It’s conveniently located, and there is plenty of parking. The stylists are very professional and friendly. They always have fresh coffee for the customers, which I think is nice. Wednesdays, men get $ 3.00 off their haircuts.
