I like to consider this area the armpit of the Brookfield/​New Berlin border. Subway is sandwiched between (pardon the pun), a vacated business space and a neon-​lit hair salon (make your own judgment there). It’s in the strip-​mall with the George Webb’s on Greenfield Ave. that’s been there for over 20 years.
Long story short, it took forever to get our subwiches. There was only one subwich maker and a money-​taker working. I went with a toasty turkey sub and asked for practically every topping they had. They went pretty light on the toppings in my opinion… I could count the number of black olive slices in my sub with one hand.
Quick, no. Tasty, sure.
