Walgreens

Since I started working in the area, I have shopped at this Walgreens on a number of occasions. Usually very early morning, I stop in for the sheer convenience of this location on my route. This brightly lit location is organized, well-​stocked, and clean. For the most part, I find what I need and I’m on my way in no time.
What prevents this place from bumping up in stars are two things: pricing and customer service. Whenever I come in here, the items I am looking for are always priced higher than other places I shop at. I am willing to pay because I am often in a time crunch and need whatever it is I came in for. My other issue with this location is that the customer service is hit or miss. Sometimes the staff are very pleasant but other times I am appalled by what I encounter.
I was in here one morning and as I approached the front counter there was no one there. There was though, at the other counter, a manager-​type person talking on the telephone. As I placed my items down on the counter, I jumped out of my skin as he yelled at the top of his lungs for the cashier to return to her post. «Brenda… Brendaaaaa!!!» or whatever her name was. Seriously dude? As she approached the counter he continued to openly chide her asking «where were you?» in a harsh tone. As she tried to explain she was getting something to drink he went on and on about her responsibilities at the counter. Not only must she have felt terrible, I felt embarrassed and awkward to be stuck in the middle of this encounter. I would have been happier waiting for a minute or two… or having the manager hang up the phone and take care of the transaction himself. Or at the very least, been allowed to leave before this conversation took place.
I have experienced better at other Walgreens locations.

Stopped in at this Walgreens to grab a few items while on the road. The store itself was easily accessible and it was packed with goods. The store was well organized and extremely clean. It was easy to find the items I needed and they had a ton of seasonal items. The only critique that I had was that the staff was a bit unreceptive and it took a while to check out. When I finally cashed out the employee seemed frustrated. Overall, the store is great but the staff could be a bit more pleasant.

The customer service needs improvement. My physician office called in a prescription. I was told that they were filling it and it would be a few minutes. I waited… and waited… and then waited some more. No one checked back with me. Finally, someone came did and found my prescription was done in a pile of others, but no one came to tell me. It wasn’t like they were short staffed either. There were 4 people working in the pharmacy.
