A camping we will go Hi Ho the dairy o! A camping we will go We will fix the tent right here Then we stack wood over there We check our morning wood… o wait… Hi Ho the dairy o, a camping we will go!?! Lake Spaulding Campground is located in the Tahoe area and is a hidden gem of a camp site. Isolated from the city life and near Nevada County, this land is owned by PG&E. The reservations for these camp sites can be made on their website. You will get to choose the campground you desire and one that suits your needs, if you are bringing a RV they also have water hookups into your vehicle. We booked a standard camp ground nearest to the lake so we didn’t have to walk too far to get to Lake Spaulding. Here are the pros/cons of this campsite: Pros: *Wash/Water Area, really clean and let’s keep it that way *Fire-Pits, good to grill small food and light up that good olé camp fire *Storage unit with a key. You can keep your meat and other items in this unit and it is protected from the animals because it has a turn key. Good idea to keep your meat in here rather than your car as the bears and racoons will come and f*^% your $hit up looking for food!?! *The lake(Lake Spaulding), you can take your boats, Jet-Ski’s, swim gear, etc. and have a gay olé time Cons: *The bathrooms had no light, like how do you know when you are done wiping yr @ss if there’s no light?!?(maybe a sun window on the top or side of the restroom) *No real parking areas, they should mark where you can park your car, like designated lines. Some people parked in the walking areas which was annoying. We had lots of fun coming here with our peeps, from the lake, to the warm fires, and the activities you can do in the wilderness were all great. It’s a great change of pace vs being glued to the TV and being a couch potato all weekend. This was our second time visiting Lake Spaulding Campsite and it won’t be our last!!!
