I have polish on my nails 24/7.if I don’t I feel naked, so speaking from that– this was the most AMAZING manicure/pedicure experience ever! I initially bought the Groupon for a Shellac Manicure and Pedicure and had been saving it. One of my close friends swears by her manicure from Debbie here and has been trying to get me to go forever! Well… it was worth every penny and I will DEFINITELY be back-and send all of my friends! The salon is clean, the receptionist is super sweet, the owner Mike was friendly and Debbie was an absolute doll! From start to finish, Debbie was accommodating– she offered me water and magazines, we chatted the whole time as if we were best friends. I know that a manicure can be relaxing in general, but this was a truly unwinding experience. There is only one pedicure/manicure station so you know you are getting Debbie’s full attention– no running around like crazy or overbooking or rushing. I do recommend an appointment in advance. The manicure I got looks phenomonal– Debbie was kind enough to ask about the shape and treatments I wanted for my nails before just going at them. She also did the same with my toes and asked at each length the comfort level of them. I would recommend Pandolfino’s Salon to anyone looking for a high end experience with great customer service, quality treatment and top of the line products. I will certainly be back and look forward to my next mani!

Excellent mani-pedi. chatted a few minutes about a good color and then got started. Had nice conversation the whole time. Everything was well done. You sit in a comfy massage chair while getting your pedicure and so far the polish looks great its been only a few days. Then moved on the nails which were well shaped, trimmed and polished perfectly. I’ll update in a few weeks and let you know how long it lasts but it beautiful now. I had a groupon so a booked way ahead to make sure I got an appointment.

I have been going to the same salon for 20 years before it was necessary to upgrade. Based on many recommendations I tried Pandolfino’s. Michael is a great stylist. I have my hair foiled and cut now five times, each time I am impressed with the work. The salon is very clean and the staff is friendly. On my third trip I bought Pandolfino shampoo and conditioner, which not only smells good but does wonders for my hair. The prices are competitive to the area. I spoke to the owner about his Unilocal page. I have no idea why my review goes into the filter section when I use Unilocal for other business reviews and mine are always posted on the main page. I just wanted to be clear when I updated by review that I have only experienced wonderful things at this salon and Unilocal should really consider looking into some of these bogus reviews. Mike is a great business man and I can just tell by reading some of these bad reviews that they never happened. He would literally never chew food and touch someone with grubby hands NEVER happened.

I normally don’t write reviews, but I am so annoyed by the lack of professionalism of this organization. I purchased a Groupon for a service I had never used before for a shellac. When I called for the service I was informed that Groupon customers are slotted in on certain days. OKAY. That sent a red flag. I scheduled the appointment for the only INCONVENIENT time they had(mid-day) during a work day. I had the service and the person whom provided it was great. She was also very informative and told me that I needed the service every 2 weeks and that 3 was really pushing it. The Groupon was for 3 shellac manicures. When I tried to schedule the 2nd appointment, I was told I had to wait 4 weeks. Hmmm. Another red flag. Again, I was told that Groupon customers are slotted for certain spots and they were full. I called repeatedly to try to get something sooner. The calls were never returned, but I kept calling until I got someone. The receptionist verified receiving the calls(yet never returned them). Each time we confirmed the appointment set and she verified there were no openings. Oddly, when I showed up for the confirmed appointment she told me it was scheduled for another time — mid day during the work day. This was not the time we had originally scheduled or repeatedly confirmed. I understand the benefits of advertising on Groupon, however, the thought/reality of being treated second class is not a good way to generate repeat business.

I’ve been going to Pandolfinos for 14 years! I drive an hour to the hair studio which is well worth the trip. Michael does an excellent job with color and styling my long hair. I always receive compliments. Rates are very reasonable, especially compared to Boston salons. Highly recommend. Staff is friendly and I always leave in an upbeat mood. The tanning salon is conveniently next door with a wide variety of beds including a leg machine.

I had been a loyal patron of Pandolfinos for years — long before the current ‘Mike’ was in charge and well after, and had always been happy with the ‘service’ they provided. Over time, though, I had been noticing that their service had been declining and lackluster; just not measuring up to the standards I’d been accustomed to since the current Mike took charge; even after they moved to their North Main Street location. Granted, the salon was much nicer, but the general feel and attitude had diminished. I wasn’t the only one to say so, at the time, either. However, after the ‘service’ I received from Mike on my last visit, it will forever be my LAST visit. I had called to make an appointment with Mike, specifically stating the time needed, what I wanted done(the usual; nothing different or challenging), and mentioned that, because a friend was counting on me to pick them up at the hospital — at a specific time — directly afterwards, I needed to know if he could accommodate me, adding that I had no problem with re-scheduling if he thought there would be an issue. I was assured there would not be(an hour was usually more than enough time to do what I regularly had done). I also asked if his price would be the same(as I always do). They quoted me his usual price. An hour before the appointment, I called again — just to make sure he was on schedule(perfectly willing and prepared to re-schedule, if necessary). I was told he was. I arrived punctually(2:00PM), yet ended up waiting nearly 20MINUTES before Mike came out to get me. I asked him what the problem was, explaining, again, why I needed to leave exactly on the coming hour(3:00PM) to arrive(as I had promised my friend) at the hospital on time, and suggested that perhaps I should reschedule. Without even offering an apology, Mike said, ‘no, he could have me in and out in under 40 minutes.’ I was reluctant and anxious, but because I’d been going there for years, I trusted him. Smiling, chuckling, and LICKINGHISFINGERS, he said he hadn’t had time to eat lunch, which is what he was doing for those 20 minutes(!!). So he leads me to the back to start with the hair wash — which he ultimately assigns off to another girl to do … while he goes to finish eating. When he finally returns, he’s still chewing, has food with him, and with greasy, licked fingers begins addressing my hair! I actually had to tell him to wash his hands before touching me. I was definitely ‘in a(bad) mood’ at this point, becoming more and more upset at his complete lack of professionalism, poor job attitude, and total disregard for the situation he was putting me in. By the time he starting cutting, he’d finally picked up on how annoyed I’d become so, for the rest of the visit, he never said a word to me. My only comment was to ask, again, if I would be done by 3:00PM as needed. He didn’t answer. About 15 minutes later, he stepped away for a moment to lean around the wall and speak to the receptionist(out of earshot to me). By 2:58PM, my hair was cut(that was done as well as usual), but half dry. I looked at my watch and then looked at him. He got the message. He was still drying my hair when I took off the cape, collected my things, and left saying«I believe you’ve accomplished all you’re capable of and I have to go.» It was 3:00PM and my presence was required elsewhere. At the reception desk, I asked for my bill and was handed one for $ 20.00 dollars MORE than usual or quoted! Normally, I would have stayed and fought that for hours, but I had made a commitment to a friend and they were counting on me, which means something to me. I paid their bill, then walked around the corner to tell Mike that I could only assume he didn’t want my patronage any longer, and that I hoped the $ 20.00 rape was worth it, because he would never see it again. I have shared this experience with countless others since then and know I’ve prevented at least a few from ever going there and possibly some from ever returning. If you’re happy going there, fine(maybe you see someone other than Mike). If I’ve made you find some place else or at least re-evaluate where you have your hair done — great. With all the hair salons out there, there are infinitely better choices. I found one in less than a week. And the unexpected bonus? … ATHALFTHECOSTOFPANDOLFINOS’ ORIGINAL/QUOTED PRICE. I’ve never regretted it for a moment!

One of the worst things about moving to a new city is finding a new everything… new mechanic, new favorite restaurant, and most importantly a new hair stylist. Thanks to Janine at Pandolfinos, I can check one of those off my to do list. Everyone at the salon(from the owner on down) is great! They make you feel welcome and appreciated. And as an added bonus… prices are reasonable. Janine was fantastic. She took her time and I left with a great cut that looked just like the picture I brought in. It’s now a couple of months later and it still looks great. I’ll be booking my next appointment this week!

I am extremely picky when it comes to my hair, i need it to be perfect. Mike might just be the best hairstylist ever. He does a fantastic job on my foils. Also, his blowdry’s are just unreal. I dont know how he does it, but he makes my very damaged hair look silky smooth and bouncy, and it will stay like that for a week.
