The missing star is for customer service and a small menu. Nobody here seems happy or full of any customer service spunk — lacks personality. The food however is very good. Great bread. Perfectly toasted each and every time. Steak and cheese yum. The chicken bacon ranch double yum. They should have more ingredients to add though. They have goat cheese on a salad right in front of me but I was told I couldn’t get it on my sandwich? Ok.

Grilled cheese, Mmmm! I had it for lunch break and it was delicious, would totally come back. I wish there were more of these kiosks around actually. Those are the good points for this Cheeseboy. Unfortunately, their staff sucks and didn’t pay attention to much besides their phones or social life. I stood waiting for 15 minutes, and there was just one customer in front of me. When I was acknowledged, there was no kind prelude to the conversation, I felt like I was in the cafeteria line at school. Hopefully the service isn’t always that bad, because those grilled cheeses taste so good.

It’s a grilled cheese. Brings back good childhood memories. For the product, a little expensive for what it is. Probably will stick to making my own over ordering from here.

I can’t even believe the level of customer service here. I just stood in front of the register and the two guys working here didn’t even acknowledge me. He then turned around looking annoyed and looked at me waiting for me to order. I asked for a salad and they said they had none of them ready and it would be 20 minutes. It was lunchtime how do you not have salads? Also, a simple hi how are you would suffice. it would only be 20 minutes because they are sitting there talking. If I was the franchise owner, I would rethink some of they’re employees. I felt horribly disrespected.

They hire kids who don’t pay attention to the order or preparation. I’ve probably eaten here a half dozen times or more, and my kids a bunch more than that. The food is good. BUT they don’t do details. The kid doing the cooking will look spaced out for minutes before the manager tells him to move it. This should be a three minute process — it rarely is. My «no-onions, please,» order shouldn’t be a 50 – 50. Seriously– the first thing I do after getting my sandwich is open it up to see what went wrong. And that’s in a sandwich with two ingredients some times. It’s like they’re trying to join their former neighbors, «French Fry Heaven» in heaven.

I wanted to believe in a high end grilled cheese, but alas it is not to be be had. Who doesn’t love a good grilled cheese? So sure high end ingredients and a passion to make this work sounds like a recipe for amazing. No sir. It tasted as good as what I can make at home(and I am not exceptionally skilled with the grilled cheese). It was roughly $ 6 after taxes and the sand which did not appear anything like their signs. My original grilled cheese was flat and completely visually unappealing. It wasn’t terrible, it was edible and tasted OK. When you specialize it one thing, it should be better than just OK.

2 thumbs up by a 13 year old and mom approved. Guilty pleasure the peasantry of a grilled cheese. But so giddy when great ingredients make for a very well executed end product. So the boy went for the simple white and american with BACON… And it was really good. Kudos on making a grilled cheese worthy of its own kiosk!!!

First visit was for a soft drink. The cashier let me know that they offer mall employee discounts and informed me of their rewards card and how it worked. Nice first impression so I returned today for lunch. I ordered the veggie melt which was fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and the service was quick. Priced appropriately as well. No complaints.

Great sandwich. I had the veggie panini and it was the perfect cheesy crunchy goodness… made fresh to order and it is so reasonably priced for a good size. I am a major panini freak… also had a sample of the chicken bacon and it was sooo good… I will be back for more.

What is there not to like a mall kiosk that serves up gooey grilled cheese. I work at the mall so I come here a few times a month and it always hits the spot. I have to knock off 1 star though because the sandwiches are the only thing they do right. Soup is nothing special and that is pretty much all the over as a side beside a bag of chips. I really like their specialty sandwiches like the Roast Chief and the Chipotle Chicken. Service is usually awesome but there is one kid that works there that seems more interested in the ladies then his job.

I don’t get how this chain isn’t everywhere in New England. It’s fast food grilled cheese! It’s fresh and they have healthy options. If these were more popular and had drive-thrus I’d be here weekly, I’m sure. I go here for lunch during the workweek sometimes. MMMMMMM!

Solid grilled cheese sandwiches and a good addition to the mall food court. A little greasy, but good bread and cooked just right. However, I was a bit overall disappointed with the other offerings at Cheeseboy. I think they could do a lot better in the side-dish department. There could be more salads and more soup options, too. When I went, they only offered Lays in terms of chips. I’d rather see better chips, like Cape Cod or Kettle Chips.

I was never really a fan of Grilled Cheese, just because I feel like it’s a waste of calories and didn’t really fill me up. But Cheeseboy manages to make it good and filling. I first tried it when they were having the free grilled cheese back a month ago, and I enjoyed it. I did get some tomato soup because I know my tomato soup and they did a pretty good job with it. It was nice and hot and also very flavorful. I tried it recently and got the classic with jalapeños. I was surprised that it was actually spicy and it tasted really good. It was cooked well. I am still not a big fan of grilled cheese, but I wouldn’t mind coming here a few times a month.

If you are looking for an inexpensive and tasty sandwich, Cheeseboy definitely hits the spot. They have a good number of combinations, build your own sandwich, and 2 meal combos. My personal favorite is the Healthy Melt. My only criticism is that they do not have separate grills for vegetarian sandwiches. I personally believe that vegetarians should be able to eat sandwiches that were not cooked in areas that previously held meat. But Cheeseboy offers a discount for mall employees, makes consistently delicious food, and has extremely friendly staff. So all in all, it’s a fantastic option!

Stopped in for National Grilled Cheese Day since sandwiches were free. They’re typically $ 3.29. They come in mini pizza boxes. They’re super greasy but also yummy. I’d actually pay for one if I were fiending for a grilled cheese and couldn’t make one myself. I actually kinda want one now. Damn.

Saw this place on Phantom Gourmet on a Sunday morning and needed to go that afternoon! I had the healthy melt with tomato soup, and it was delicious! I’ll definitely be back :)

I love it. take the easiest food concept in the world and turn it into a fast food chain now popping up in every food court in every major mall. Whoever started this is not only smart, they are ingenius. Why go for a burger when you can have a delicious grilled ham, cheese and pickle made to order? Plus they offer other types of grilled cheese with spinach and other toppings and of course you can pair it up with a cup of tomato soup. They also offer mac and cheese which probably tastes just as good. The day we went to this location, all profits were being donated to charity which is even better. Great concept, genius idea, reasonable prices and good food!
