The Lotus Room

This place is amazing and Victoria is fantastic! A quiet little room amidst the loudness of downtown Nashville. Definitely give this great little place a try!

I had one very good massage with Jenna and one not so good one. Jenna hit some nerves, which was uncomfortable and I told her, but it happened repeatedly after I told her. Not sure what was up. I guess she was just having a bad day.

I’ve been going to Jenna regularly for about a year, so this is long overdue. She is so warm and welcoming, and is an amazing masseuse. I like deep pressure massages, and she works out every knot. I recently went to a fancy spa (I had a gift card) for a massage and realized how much better Jenna is. She really is the best! I’ve never tried any of the other massage therapists, but I’m sure Jenna makes sure they are just as good.

Lacey gave me an AWESOME prenatal massage. She applied the perfect amount of pressure, which is a rarity in masseuses it seems. I tend to like a deep massage, and so many people refuse to apply enough pressure for the duration of a massage. Not Lacey! She hit all my tight spots and worked out my knots, and I felt super relaxed during and afterward. I will definitely go back to her in the future.
Park behind the building on the alley side, and enter to the left of the back of the building. It’s upstairs. It’s just one room, you’ll wait on a bench in the hallway. While it’s not a super fancy spa, the massage was better than I have received in any spa in town, by far. A+

Love, love, love this place! I went for a massage last weekend and it was wonderful. I tend to get a lot of knots from stress in my neck and shoulders and although I like to get them out, I’m a big baby when it comes to pain. It always seems like in order to get them out, it also comes with a huge amount of discomfort. Not with Victoria! She was so great and understanding about my predicament. She got everything out without hurting me and I felt 100% better. The room was clean, warm and welcoming. I felt totally relaxed from start to finish and I’ll definitely come back again. It’s funny, I’m a little leery about establishments who have 5 stars on here because that’s so hard to get but… now I see why. This place is the best!

I’ve gotten two massages from Lacey now and both were extremely relaxing and helpful. She was very professional from the time I got there to the time I left. I have some lower back pain and she always helps out with the pain. I’ll be back again.

So the Lotus Room is amazing! Completely different than any other thing I’ve experienced.

My husband had a work appointment and I decided at the last minute to try and get a massage. Jenna at Lotus room was able to fit me in later the same day. Bonus!
Like other reviews the Lotus is located upstairs in a house type of building and a little difficult to find at first.
So I’ve had a lot of massages at many upscale spas so when I walked into the Lotus and realized it was literally a room I was a little surprised. (Felt like a hippy room lol). Anyway, I kept an open mind and so glad I did!
Jenna did the Ayurveda massage (which I never heard of prior but now can’t stop researching the concept). It included aroma therapy, amazing massage, scalp massage with oil treatment, foot reflexology and dry brushing. It was so relaxing and made me feel calm and balanced afterwards (at the risk of sounding like a hippy-​which I’m not).
I can’t wait until I get back to Nashville to make another appointment.

I just had a magical prenatal massage from Jenna. I HIGHLY recommend her services. She was professional and intuitive. And the atmosphere at Lotus is very relaxing. Coming here again soon !

I HIGHLY recommend the Lotus Room and actually drive from Atlanta to Nashville to get my massages here from Lacey. After traveling around the world and grabbing massages everywhere I can I’m in love with how Lacey approaches massages… she truly listens and understands my body. I’ve had multiple back injuries and truly need someone who knows their way around the body.
The space is also amazing. The moment I walked in I relaxed to think it was all just for me!
Follow the instructions regarding the parking and you’ll be good to go.

See what other reviewer’s had to say regarding directions and location specifics. That said, it was fairly easy to locate and Victoria has a sweet disposition with very strong hands. She delivered a skillful massage. More importantly, to me, she expressed heart and the intent of a healer. I will return.

Wow! Talk about GREAT energy. This place is so magical and calming — it is the place to go when you want to get back to center, or just relax in good vibes.
I get the 90 min massage or 60 min massage, and each time it’s perfect. Each movement feels intentional, not like it’s just another massage they have to do. They really put their souls into their work!
The place is also decorated amazingly — I want to decorate my apartment like it. No joke. It’s so chic.

Perfect massage! Just the right pressure, no talking, relaxing and soothing experience all around. Victoria was my masseuse. I do like when masseuses talk to me a bit afterwards, if only to tell me what they’ve noticed (particular tension areas). She didn’t at all, but that still didn’t take away from the massage.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the place is a little tough to find. Do look for the alley behind 18^th S for the parking lot and the stairway up.

I have had a lot of massages. I have a had a lot of good, bad, and in between massages. Since moving to Nashville a little over a year ago, I’ve been on the hunt for someone who wasn’t afraid to use a little pressure to work out all the junk in my shoulders, but that could still leave me feeling like I was walking on a cloud when I left. Enter Jenna! she is wonderful, professional, calming, not afraid of pressure and a wizard with knots. I’m so grateful that I found her (and more importantly that she had a next day appt available for me in my time of stress.) Do yourself and your body a favor, and go see Jenna. I promise you won’t regret it.

Great place for a massage and pain relief. I went in due to a lot of back tightness and soreness from bad posture, traveling, and stress and Jenna was able to help alleviate a lot of that tension in a 30 minute session and was very respectful and knowledgeable about her trade. Would definitely come back again to continue getting my back aligned and loosened up. Nice and calming massage area.

Jenna at The Lotus Room is amazing. I had a 120 minute Ayurveda massage and cannot describe how wonderful and healing it was. Her technique is trained and effective, she is consistent from start to finish, and the amount of pressure is always perfect. The setting she has created for her clients is perfect in every way. The Ayurveda techniques she used were over the top wonderful. I’ve had many massages, but none compare to my experience with Jenna at The Lotus Room. A+

The lotus room is such a great escape! Both Jenna and Victoria are talented healers. I have seen Victoria recently for prenatal massages (third trimester) and greatly appreciated all the work she does to release tension! She has great awareness and always uses the right pressure which makes the sessions both relaxing and tension-​relieving. I definitely recommend her if you need some knots worked out or just help relaxing!

Thank goodness for The Lotus Room. I had a massage booked elsewhere, showed up and it had been mysteriously cancelled. I NEEDED a massage, my day depended on it. I called a couple places with good Unilocal!reviews, and The Lotus Room was the only one to accommodate, adding a slot in their schedule at the end of the day. I was so thankful for masseuse Victoria for extending her work day for me.
The building is off 18^th Ave S, in a house-​office building with single room offices which are mostly hair salons. There are a lot of these houses in the area and I love the eclectic mix of entrepreneurs who occupy them. Just drive through the alley to park behind the building and walk up the stairs to the second floor.
As soon as I laid down on the table, I was overtaken with relaxation. The full body massage was the perfect amount of pressure (medium-​deep) and the room smelled wonderful. The buzz of the air conditioning unit did not even disturb me and the state I was in. I was offered an eye cover when I flipped over as it was sunset and there was still a bit of light in the room and it was perfect.
I most certainly did not want it to be over when my hour was up.

I decided to try Jenna & The Lotus Room because of so many great reviews. I was not the least bit disappointed. It was very good. After trying others, I felt the need to continue shopping around, but there’s no need now that I’ve found The Lotus Room. I’m tempted to give one star so that people are deterred and her schedule doesn’t fill up too much :)
Also, I would recommend (like others) to park in the back of the building. It could be a little difficult navigating your way the first time, so like other reviewers, leave extra time to get there. I knew the building already, so it was no trouble.

These reviews don’t do Jenna justice. She’s absolutely wonderful! Kind, thorough, up front, and hands that turn your muscles into goo! She gave me the best message I’ve ever had. Ever.
The advice I’ll give is to definitely head over a little early if you’ve never been. I had trouble finding the place. I don’t remember seeing the sign on the front of the house. There are plenty of places to park on the street, but it’s easier to park behind the house and go up the stairs on the side. There is seating right outside to wait.
I’ll definitely be back. I’d gladly go every day and give her all my money if I could. She’ll make you feel like a million bucks!

I simply cannot imagine life without seeing Jenna for the world’s most amazing life ever (3 continents later still am saying the same)…
Even though her schedule is packed, she does her best to try to take care for me each and every single time.
