Literally the blandest tacos I’ve ever tasted! My husband and I ate 1.5 of 3 before we gave up and decided being hungry was better than subjecting ourselves to anymore. Never in my life have I not finished a margarita but theirs were the absolute worst margaritas I’ve ever tasted. This was the 2nd time we’d tried this restaurant, we didn’t like it the first time but wanted to give it another shot since we like to support local business. Never again!

I’ve been frequenting this restaurant since they first opened. It’s absolutely the best Mexican restaurant in the area. They have the freshest food, best menu selection, and(usually) best service. It’s a convenient go-to place that has good drinks and tasty food. They have a very speedy kitchen, too! There are a few servers that have been there since the beginning, and are excellent. My only gripes: Recently, I’ve gotten a few servers who never return to the table. My latest visit, I caught my server(during a semi-slow Sunday afternoon) and asked for my chips and salsa, after we’d been out for about 10 minutes. He brought back chips and no salsa. Another 10 minutes and I finally caught him again and got salsa AFTER the food had come out. We waited about 15 minutes after we’d finished our food before the manager finally noticed us and said that our server was busy with a large party in another part of the restaurant, but he’d bring the check right over. Another 5 minutes and we finally got the check. We saw the server MAYBE4 times during the whole visit. Another visit recently included a similar server, but she could be viewed playing on her phone near the bar for most of our stay, and I actually witnessed another server get onto her about tending to her job.

Eat here frequently as we live nearby. Not the highest quality but for Mexican food has been consistently good. Service is good and as expected. Dont drink alcohol so i cant comment on their drinks but they have a full bar. Seldom busy and have an outdoor area.

Out of the Mexican restaurants in the Bellevue area, I would say this one is the best. It is clean, service is good and they have a unique type of décor. But just like any regular old Mexican restaurant, sometimes the food is great and sometimes it’s not the best. There doesn’t seem to be a consistent product. Except for the margaritas, they are always great. I generally get the fajitas or pollo loco. The pollo loco has always been good, and the fajitas are so/so. Same goes with chips and salsa. I have visited the restaurant when they are great, and other times when they are average. The prices are your traditional Mexican restaurant pricing. But as I said earlier, it is our first choice of Mexican restaurants in the area. It’s a great place for large groups and families.

If you are looking for a Mexican Restaurant with average price points on food and alcoholic beverages(aka our favorites, Margaritas), then I think Nachos is a good spot. It is not fancy, but it is more than just a hole in the wall Mexican joint. It is very causal and has a nice family vibe as well. It has a nice store front location in a newer shopping center. They have patio seating, and the restrooms are very clean and nice. When you walk in the front door, you will be pleased to see a 100 on the inspection sheet performed by the health department. We got a top shelf pitcher of margaritas for $ 23. Between three of us, we each had about 2.5 drinks from the pitcher. This is a very good deal, especially on top shelf liquor. It averages about $ 2 and some change for a yummy adult beverage. The service is very good and prompt. We all got full entrees, guac, cheese dip, and a pitcher of top shelf margaritas for about $ 65 – 70, plus tip. That is money well spent!

The ground beef in the tacos was probably the worst I’ve ever tasted. My son(who loves Mexican) wouldn’t eat his, after trying a bite I wouldn’t eat it either. I did somewhat enjoy the«Nachos La Lola» though.

I really, really like Nachos. Absolutely one of our go-to places on the west side. You know how some places just feel comfortable and familiar and reliable? This is one of those places for me. Very friendly service. We can always get a table — or a place at the bar. They immediately bring chips and salsa to the table. AND they make a mean top shelf margarita(skip the house margarita). There are some days that is more important than others, if you know what I mean. Lately, the chips have been served warm and crispy and fresh. Hope that keeps up! No salt on the chips, which is ok by me since the salsa is good. I’ve eaten several different dishes here. My favorites are probably the Pollo Bandido — flavorful chicken with a delicious cheese sauce, fish tacos — a huge amount of fish, and the taco salad with chicken — tons of chicken with a really great flavor served with guacamole and other yummies in a crispy shell. Some nights get busier than others. They sometimes have a trivia night, if you are into that kind of thing. Other nights there is live music. There are usually plenty of kids there, so definitely a family-friendly spot. Maybe it’s not the most inventive mexican place in town, but comfy and delicious every time. Did I mention that I like Nachos? I do. I really do.

I want to break up with Jason S and Zim O over this place. YOUARESUCHBOYS… you are banished to My Space for giving this place 3 to 5(!!) stars. I mean, seriously, lets talk about everything smothered in cheese, stale chips, cheap tequila for high prices horrors. Yes, the staff are nice. Honest. But if you close at 10, you can’t side eye the guests who show up at 9:15 and stand there staring at them to leave at 10:05. Close the dang kitchen at 9 for Pete’s sake.(Not sure who Pete is, but really, close the kitchen). I got a burrito with«light cheese» which I believe is Spanish for ‘all the cheese in the kitchen, please’. I made a giant pile of cheese in the corner of my plate and our waiter never even noticed it as he took away my 1⁄3 eaten food. Clearly not looking for quality here… I like Mexican food, but am not loving it, and mostly go to mexican restaurants, like most people, to eat chips and drink margaritas. Alas, even these were fails. The chips were crazy salty and their version of a good margarita involved pouring as much tequila into a glass as humanly possible. Maybe that’s why Zim and Jason liked it? :-) If you’re salt deprived and desperate for food, sure, I guess… go here.

This WAS my favorite Mexican restaurant in Bellevue, but the customer service quickly made them my least favorite/will never visit again/let everyone I know about my experience Mexican restaurant. I religiously ordered take out from this location at least once a week for years and never had a problem. It was always vegetarian, no modifications at all, just straight forward. The last time I was there, I got home to discover our food included meat. Everything on the ticket was vegetarian and of the 3 meals 2 of them included meat. Like any person would do, I called the restaurant to let them know of the mistake. The person who answered didn’t know what to do, told me the manager would be there in 15 minutes and to call back. When calling back, I talked to someone else who said the manager would be there in an hour. I called back again, still no manager and left my phone number. Never hearing anything back, I called one more time. I finally spoke with the manager who accused me of lying. Not only accused me of lying, but accused me of trying to scam them out of free food. I never mentioned anything past 2 of the 3 vegetarian meals containing meat. He said he was tired of me calling every week trying to get free food. Never mind I order at least weekly from this location, I had NEVER called about a complaint ever. I have NEVER received worse customer service from a restaurant in my life. To make matters even worse, when I calmly tried to explain to him that he is getting me confused with someone else as I had never complained about anything previously, he was quick to be defensive and say«I understand. I speak English, don’t say I don’t.» What??? And done. I wound up calling the Franklin location, to lodge a complaint and never heard anything back. I will not be going to this restaurant ever again. The 2 stars pain me to give them, but I actually like the food.

I really, really wanted to like this place, primarily because it’s less than 5 minutes from my house. Sadly, no. Just no. Service was slow and borderline civil, and even though it was 1:00, there were only two servers on duty. Chips were thick and tasted stale. The salsa was good — the best part of the meal, IMO. Cheese dip wasn’t even as good as the stuff you can buy at the grocery store. My chile relleno was probably the worst I’ve ever had, somehow managing to be tasteless AND having chemical overtones. Taco meat was totally unseasoned and watery. The refried beans and guacamole salad were good, but nothing special. Now we know, and we won’t make the same mistake again. Pancho’s in Franklin remains my favorite(even though it’s a bit of a drive from Bellevue), with Border Cantina a close second.

The enchilada and the burrito tasted the same, and both tasted like the Chef Boyardee version of Mexican food. The taco was so laden with grease, I literally had to wring it over a napkin. There are many many better versions of this low-end fast casual Mexican with much fresher tastier food, drive on.

When this restaurant first opened, my friends and I really liked it and went often, nearly once a week. The décor is very nice and it felt«high-end» as far as Mexican restaurants go. The food was always tasty and the servers were very friendly, too. But that’s where the compliments end. Unfortunately, during my last trip there, I ordered the chicken fajita salad and it came with a nice side of salmonella poisoning. I was incredibly sick for nearly 3 days and even had to go to the hospital. Not sure what went wrong, but I have sworn off Nacho’s forever. Beware.

I wish I could say I loved this place, because I like places where I can consume a pitcher of margarita and not be very far from home, but I can’t. We kind of liked this place when it first opened, but it seems to get worse and worse every time. Chips are always stale, beans never taste fresh, fajita veggies seem like they come from a can, food is never more than lukewarm, and server is usually nowhere to be found after food is brought to the table. On a positive note, the carnitas aren’t bad, but that is all I can really think of. There are too many better options that are worth the extra time driving to get there.

I had to try a Mexican place called Nachos! But its just a Mexican place with nicer décor. Prices are the same as most standard Mexican joints… $ 7.49 combo platter, $ 3.00 for cheese dip you know the scoop. Our server was all smiles(probably because of our thirst of margaritas and flirty eyes) and was very prompt and nice. The food was just okay. There were alot of families with ninos in there because when the food is cheap that’s where the kids are! I’ll be back to nachos, I like the décor and service but probably just stick to the drinks.

For my money this is one of the better tex-mex places east of the Mississippi. It’s not anywhere near the quality of good tex-mex in Texas or Arizona but it’s not bad either. They work had to please you with what they have — fish included. I’ve often asked for their pork instead of the beef or chicken that some dishes use by default. It’s usually a winner. They are happy to add fresh jalapeño or poblano slices to your fajitas to jazz it up for you as well. Just be certain to let them know you want the bell-peppers too or the cook might substitute instead. Their drinks are not whoo-hoo fantastic but they are pretty darn cheap during happy hour. Some of the cheapest in town. I give them a 5 star for effort.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant, ever! Enchiladas Suizas that I only wish I could make at home? Check. Delicious salsa and margaritas? Check. Friendly wait staff? Check check! My favorite thing about this place though, is the ability to substitute healthy(ier) sides. I would probably drive most wait staff crazy with all my special orders(thank you, Weight Watchers), but thank goodness, they are very tolerant of me here! I will usually order the Pollo Hawaiiano with vegetables. Can’t go wrong with this one! On the other hand, if you’re willing to suffer the wrath of your WW meeting leader and jonesing for dessert, this place is in dangerous proximity to Marble Slab. The Rocky Road is a great coda after enchiladas and margaritas… just saying. Be prepared for a crowded entryway if you go on Friday or Saturday night. Looks like a lot of Bellevue patrons have caught on to this place.

Quality food and a great staff. Charming atmosphere, full bar with local brew on tap. The happy hour two for one margaritas are good but try the Margarita Oro. There are several good items on the menu but I always go back to my favorite, the Burrito Monterrey. The staff will treat you like family and you will leave stuffed but happy.
