Midtown Place Apartments

Agree with everyone else who posted. Loud environment (paper thin walls), cheap furnishings (though they look nice at quick glance), terrible, unresponsive management.
This complex needs some serious help. I CANNOT WAIT until my lease is up. Looking for a new place ASAP.

This place definitely has its problems, most of which relate to management.
The good:
–Newly built; so new appliances, modern furnishings, etc.
–AMAZING location
–Great price (at least when I lived in a 1-​bedroom it was $ 995, I think it’s a lot more expensive now)
The bad:
–Management is TERRIBLE: they take forever to respond; they were sending important emails to an email address that didn’t even belong to me; property company switched while I lived there and no mention was made; I could go on and on
–The walls are so thin, as other reviewers said you can hear everything that is going on in the apartments surrounding you
–The common areas are filthy, every weekend the trash would be overflowing and the lobby would smell terrible
–Packages are left unattended in the lobby which doesn’t seem safe
–My front door was not properly insulated and frost would form inside of my apartment on cold days
–Not much closet space in the 1-​bedroom units
–No gym or pool
If you can find a good deal on an apartment here, go for it. I wouldn’t pay more than $ 1,200 to live in a 1-​bedroom here. Overall, this is a great location if you go to Vandy, but it comes with some major annoyances.
