They are ok, but ruined a shirt of mine with some sort of orange stains. Lost ticket originally. So two stars and I wont be going back.

I really wanted to like this place because it was so close to where I live… but their decisions made me move. The good: their service is fast. The staff are friendly. And the prices are good. The bad: there’s little pride in their work. The place is a mess on the inside. Caked on dust on equipment. Unkept. Ceilings tattered and dirty. Ironed shirts often come out with press-mark wrinkles. The last straw for me was when I saw a staff member ironing a shirt near the front door with a cigarette hanging from her lips, and over the garment. The way they keep the place… it’s hard to believe they’re in the business of cleaning and maintaing clothes. If that’s the way they maintain their business… how are they going to treat my garments? Goodbye.

WORST service ever received at a dry cleaners. Lost my jacket. Had me come back 2 times to get it and they NEVER could find it. Finally told me I was lying and never dropped off the item to be cleaned. This place shouldn’t even be in business. Worst owners of a company I’ve ever come into contact with. Employees were also rude and unprofessional!

I took two shirts here to get altered. The owner hemmed them and I mentioned that this was exactly where I wanted the shirts hemmed. I received the button up shirts back way too small. The owner told me that she would give me the money for the shirts but she couldn’t do it that day. She told me to come back in a couple days and get the check from her, because her bank wasn’t in Nashville it was in Hendersonville. I came back several days later and she then stated that she would not be giving me anything for the shirts that were altered way too small. Then she had, i believe to be her husband, kind of stand behind her to muscle me out of the door to let it go and leave. She was very disrespectful and had no intentions of making good on their mistakes. I would go to any other dry cleaners in Nashville before going to this one.

Benny and Candy Miles are the owners of this dry cleaners — they have been sued by two people now(who have both won) for high-end clothing«disappearing»…do not let this happen to you… avoid at all costs!!! Here is the news story about them:

I’ve moved to Houston and, in my exasperating hunt for a new favorite dry cleaner, miss Melrose Cleaners more than ever. They were always friendly, quick and punctual, did a fine job, and were very reasonably priced. The drive-through was an obvious perk. Ladies, let me know if you ever decide to move to Texas.

Great service. Fast, friendly, and cheap. I had a jacket dry-cleaned here and they did a good job!

They’re friendly, they always have my clothes perfectly cleaned, they never shrink pencil skirts(that have been shrunk elsewhere), and they’re very great about taking specific instructions about pieces(not that I’m extremely picky). Icing on the cake– they’re services are SO reasonable, and their hours are great. Open before work, and don’t close before you can get there on the way home. This is my go-to cleaners.

These guys are very unorganized and horrible customer service. they lost my Armani suit slacks and have played the call me later game for several months. Benny the owner doesnt care about customer service. Im following up with a small claim court against Melrose cleaners. i have given melrose plenty of chances to make this right for several months and they never did.

I had a great experience with Melrose Cleaners. I had two silk dresses that needed a little freshening up. I tend to hedge going to the dry cleaners absolutely as long as possible… only because I feel like it ends up being somewhat of a hassle and it’s certainly more expensive than clothes I can wash at home. I took the dresses to Melrose on Monday morning and they were ready by TUESDAYEVENING. I’m not sure what happened with Paul K’s order, but mine was super speedy. The dresses looked great and the woman that I interacted with was very friendly. It was maybe a touch expensive at $ 18, but I’m not enough of a frequent dry cleaner to know if that’s the going rate or not.

Okay so maybe it was the Unilocal in me, or the fact I couldn’t sleep knowing my favorite dry cleaners screwed up my shirt. Finally, I went in to show the burn mark and make them aware of the problem. I met with the owner. He said, «If I can’t get this out, I will replace the shirt, but let me try» I said fine. He said he didn’t think it was a burn but a chemical stain. A few days later, I went to get the shirt. Well, look at that. He got it out. No way. I didn’t have to pay to get the stain out and was happy I gave him another shot. Sorry for the 3rd update — but it’s worth it.

My wife had 2 coats she needed dry-cleaned. One was a «new» one from the goodwill or some place and it smelled, the other was a coat she had been wearing all winter and while not filthy it was time for it to be cleaned. She dropped them off, we’ll say on the first, with an expectation of a turnaround in a week. A week goes by and she asks me to pick them up. Due to a couple of emergencies where I work, and a couple of other issues, we were probably at 10 days out before I got in. I went in without a ticket and they were able to find the order, and one item had been done but the other had not. I asked when it was getting done and was informed that maybe tomorrow, maybe the next day. I left thinking maybe I’ll start my review on Unilocal tonight and maybe they’ll get one star as really, 10 days is excessive to not have a solid time frame. I went back 3 days later, it was the first time I had a chance to, and the bill was $ 6. That is a great price for 2 wool coats. That rather amazed me as I was expecting quite a bit more. Timewise — they were incredibly slow. Moneywise they were very good. We’ll go back as long as it’s not a rush and we call first before showing up.
