Mattress Firm Midtown

Much like the princess and the pea, I can’t be bothered with anything less than a perfect night’s sleep. It makes me angry. Don’t make me angry. You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry.
So, it came to pass that upon purchasing a new house, I decided that I needed a new bed/​mattress to go with it. My old mattress was still trucking along in good condition (I don’t buy in to the boondoogle that says you must purchase a new mattress every 11 seconds) but I wanted something new… something bigger. I was staying down the road on West End and I began journeying west, thinking that a store was nearby. It wasn’t. But I came across a newly minted Mattress Firm. Cool. Let’s check it out.
Once I entered the store, I was greeted by Broderick. He was an extremely helpful, non-​pushy sales associate who knew a lot about mattresses. You would be surprised at all the nuances involved in purchasing a mattress but there’s a lot to it and it’s a significant decision. It makes sense. You spend a healthy portion of your life sleeping. If able, you need to buy the best mattress for you. Broderick was knowledgeable, incredibly nice and very patient in the mattress buying process. Since it was a new (er) store, I wasn’t as opposed to laying on the beds and getting a feel for what I was going to purchase. You know, because of cooties. Not only was this an important decision, it was an expensive one. I needed to make sure that I made the right choice. After vacillating back and forth, Broderick let me know that I had 100 days to change something up in case I felt i made a mistake. 100 days? Sold. That amount of time was perfect for my unsure-​of-​commitment self. Buoyed by that news, I opted for the fancy mattress cover and two rectangular pillows that smell like coconut. If you’re going to go, go all in, right?
I didn’t realize that the mattress buying experience would be as complicated as it was. Broderick was a major help and I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a mattress; ask for him. He’s the guy you want. After all, you’re making an important purchase. Make sure you’re doing the right thing.
