Horrible in every way possible!!! I just moved to a neighborhood nearby and this is the closest grocery to my house… However I now drive an additional 10min just to go to a decent grocery. There produce is HORRIBLE. Rotten fruit, meats being sold past their expiration(and no, not as a managers special) the list goes on. I’m really annoyed kroger as a brand hasn’t put down the hammer on this place. Don’t waste your time, keep driving to the publix down the street.

I would have rated one star, but the cheap gas keeps me coming back. We call this location«Depressed Kroger,» opting more often for the friendlier«Elderly Kroger» down on Harding, as they’re equidistant from our home. I’ve experienced some of the worst customer service of my life in this location. If you are at all concerned about the environment, need a paper bag for anything, or just can’t take another plastic bag in your life, be sure to bring your own. I’ve been told on several occasions that there are no paper bags INTHEENTIRESTORE. Once, a bagger resembling a 19th century prospector first rolled his eyes before telling me, then refused to put my items into plastic. I had to bag for myself. When I talked to the manager about the incident, he was receptive, but the atmosphere hasn’t changed much since his recent instatement. The selection is narrow, and Manager Special items(the bargains I love) are mysteriously lacking. All this is to say that I really try not to go here unless I have to.

I am all about this gas station when I am thrifting the streets of West Nashville. Even though it is a Kroger first, the gas is where it is at. I feel like I am transported to another time when I get my Bonus Points and gas drops to a $ 2.99 price.(Is it ok to break out into the sprinkler for that) But seriously, the lay out of this Kroger gets the job done. I mainly use it for quick trips. Service is friendly and if you actually want a human being to check you out, that is a possiblity unlike some of the other Kroger stores in the area.

I will probably regret mentioning this, but this place has a gas station, and it consistently has the cheapest gas I can find in all of Western Nashville. This usually makes it quite crowded. It also makes a nice stop from McKay’s across the street. The supermarket itself is the same as any other Krogers.
