I’ve never had such a wonderful experience in a sub shop until I came to the Ellison place Jersey Mikes! The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly PLUS they make the BEST subs I’ve had in town! I knew the second I bit into my sandwich that I would be back… And surely enough later that week I was. They all remembered me! How crazy! I bet they see hundreds of people weekly and they still make a point to remember everyone. While sitting in the shop every person who walked in the staff made a personal connection with, it was so awesome to watch! They put a smile on everyone’s face. I’m hooked on jersey mikes now! Stop in and you’ll probably see me here!

In my experience the Jersey Mike’s around Nashville can be hit or miss(*Clears throat and nods at Hundred Oaks location) but this location was great. Friendly staff who was able to clear the long lines quickly. Also it’s easy to find parking which is becoming less and less common especially in this part of Nashville. Keep up the good work!

Great sub! Definitely better than Jimmy Johns of subway. Good price, good service, very fast. Nice inside and the outside seating isn’t extensive but its nice. Highly recommended for lunch.

The best sub shop I’ve ever been to. The bread is so soft and fresh. The meats are sliced fresh. I recommend the Philly cheesesteak with pepper jack cheese and banana peppers! YUMMMMMMMM!!! Awesome, quick service at all Jersey Mike locations.

Good sandwhich as usual, but kind of rude employee blew me off at the cash register to play with his ringtones. Always get better proffesionalism at JMikes, dont know why this guy thought it was so normal. Play on your phone is cool, but not while I am waiting to be rung up and grub out!

Crew dealing lunch today was excellent — really fast, really fun. That makes this review in large part — sometimes your mileage may vary. Nonetheless, I can find you a better submarine in New Jersey, with a bit of looking. I can not find you a better submarine in Nashville. never set foot in a subway again.

The name should be «Nebraska Mike’s» or «Suburban Mall Mike’s» or «Airport Foodcourt Mike’s». It’s better than subway. But any corner sub shop is the northeast is going to be far far better than a Jersey Mike’s. Sadly, in 20 years in Nashville, I have yet to find a good sub shop.

Food was good, but there was only ONE worker to do everything. I wanted the philly cheese steak, but there were four people in line and I did not want to make them wait. Poor management! The lady was very apologetic but she could not control the situation. We did leave her a good tip for working so hard.

Not a fan of this location. Incorrectly charged me and could not refund it… The tuna sandwich had LARGE chunks of celery instead of little sliced pieces. The cookies were also slightly undercooked.

I went here for the first time and the staff was very friendly. Loved that. The sandwich I got was very good(veggie wrap). Would go here again.

When I want a great sub sandwich, my first choice is Jersey Mike’s. They use high quality meats & cheeses, and the bread is great too. I typically get the turkey & provolone, and it never disappoints. My new favorite condiment is the cherry pepper relish — love the hot & slightly sour stuff! It’s not the cheapest sandwich place but it’s worth it. Try it if you never have.

I had my first Jersey Mike’s sub today — and since it was Friday — I got a discount. I enjoyed pleasant conversation with the intelligent-looking staff, and told them I’d be back next week. I like late lunch and I work in the area, so speediness and variety are important to me. This sub was truly delicious. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer.

I’ve had one bad experience with Jersey Mike’s, and that’s when I ordered a roast beef sandwich. While the sandwich wasn’t bad, I had to say… the meat had absolutely no flavor AT. ALL! It was the weirdest experience I’ve ever had with a sandwich, because sandwiches are all about a mix of flavor, especially from the meat. I’ve since been back and tried other sandwiches, and they’ve been good. There’s not a lot of options for toppings, so if you’re into a lot of veggies you might be disappointed. The best thing about Jersey Mike’s is that the meat is cut when you order it, and not sitting in pre-set papers.

As far as sub shops go, this one is delicious. I honestly love everything I’ve ever eaten here. Their bread is absolutely delightful and heavy. The veggies are fresh too. So why did I only give it 3 stars? Well, I’m a calorie counter. I always order a veggie sub, everywhere. If I get it at Subway I’m eating 200 – 250 calories for a 6 inch sub(thats 4 – 5 points for you weight watcher folks) the EXACT same ingredients on a sandwich at Jersey Mike’s and it’s 1,200 calories(or 24 points). AHHH. And I thought I was being healthy. As for this location, at lunch it’s slammed. The line goes out the door. And, parking is also an issue. Something to keep in mind. Granted, it’s EXTREMELY tasty.

Yes, some might think Jersey Mike’s is a glorified subway, but regardless, I think it’s delicious and more importantly quick and convenient. Also I find something weirdly gratifying about having my cold cuts sliced fresh in front of me. Being a self professed carnivore I always appreciate that their staff doesn’t intricately measure the weight of the meat and cheese on my sandwich to make sure that they don’t give me too much, in fact, they usually do give me too much(if there is such a thing). My favorite sub is the Chipotle CheeseSteak; you can never go wrong with melted cheese and steak, but the Chipotle mayo just gives it that extra dab of deliciousness that makes my stomach happy.

This review requires a two-part preface: first of all, I know it’s a semi-chain with locations throughout the eastern U.S., but it isn’t ubiquitous enough that it escapes needing a review. Second, I worked at a Jersey Mike’s out in Hendersonville for over a year while in high school. That being said, the following is a perfectly objective and necessary review. Of the roughly eight or ten J. Mike’s locations in the greater Nashville area, this one is quite possibly my favorite. I know exactly what it takes to keep a Jersey Mike’s clean, and this staff in particular has it under control. The slicer is always sparkling and pristine, and all of the surfaces in the place are spotless. They make their subs with as much meat as is allowed by corporate, and the staff has always been quick and friendly(though not exactly talkative) when preparing my food. The question of Jersey Mikes versus other sub sandwich chains is hardly even a question. If you’ve ever had a Jersey Mike’s sub, you know just how superior and gargantuan they are in comparison to Subway and the like. This specific location, however, is one of the best. The location is great – it’s just up the street from The End, The Exit/In, Gold Rush and several other great spots. There is a little place outside the restaurant where you can dine(though it isn’t exactly a patio), and though it isn’t as cheap as a true fast food joint, it’s certainly affordable.
