I decided to swing into Inglewood Market for smokes instead of my usual stop at Mac’s because the sign said they had groceries. I thought, «Great. If I can get bread and diet coke I can put off my trip to Kroger until payday.» Apparently by «groceries» they meant one dingy shelf with ramen and chips and a couple boxes of eggs in the cooler. The selection for most types of items was small. The cigarettes were noticeably understocked. It almost looked like they were phasing them out(unlikely though); perhaps they’ve been having trouble with their distributor. They still have the«coming soon» sign by the Camel Crush section while the rest of town has had them for weeks. The whole place looks really seedy. It’ dimly lit, and the layout is narrow and hallway-like. There’s some video games stashed in the corner if for some ungodly reason you would like to hang out longer than necessary.
