I had the most amazing experience at this salon! Usually I stress out with hair cuts, because I have very thick dark hair. And I always end up with a horrible shelf layer. But Abbey was incredible! Listened to exactly what I wanted to be done, and immediately knew how to handle thick hair and how to highlight and tone my hair accordingly without any hesitation. Hands down the best cut and color I’ve ever gotten. I used the Unilocal deal, which everyone should definitely use if it’s their first time. The salon is super clean and hip in a very up and coming part of town.

I absolutely love this hair salon! The location is very convenient for people who live in and and Germantown. It is very clean, professional and friendly, the staff made me feel very welcome. I have been there twice and every time I have been very happy with my hair cut and color. I was also happy with pricing (particularly for coloring). I highly recommend!

Used the $ 25 Unilocal coupon while I was in town and was pleasantly surprised with my experience. The location itself is situated about a 10min drive from downtown Nashville and in a cute neighborhood. Walking in, the staff were incredibly friendly and offered something to drink right away. My haircut, hair massage, and blow job themselves were all wonderfully done. I love my haircut and the careful thought gone into the work.

Kayce did a great job on my highlights. This was my first visit, I live the neighborhood so the location was super convenient. I was in and out in two hours. I highly suggest buying the Unilocal deal if you are a first timer.

This place is AMAZING. I just moved to Nashville from NYC and had a stylist there whom I absolutely adored– I was very worried that I would never be able to find someone here who could match his work. My fears were quickly erased during my appointment with Dena yesterday, however. My hair came out even BETTER looking than I had hoped and I think this may actually be the best haircut I’ve had in my life. Dena is an excellent communicator and really took the time to understand what I was asking for. She really understands how to work with fine hair, which is a quality I have always had trouble finding in a stylist, and takes great care to give you a haircut that works and is tailored to you as an individual and will work with your lifestyle– she is definitely not the type of person who gives everyone the same standard haircut. I feel so lucky to have found Dena and will definitely be returning (in fact, I almost wish my hair would grow faster so that I can come back again soon to hang out with her!).

I am only in Nashville for a month, so I was excited to try out a new salon. So glad I found this place on Unilocal!
Its a really nice, clean, modern salon in a cute area. The staff were all super friendly and easy to talk to– they made you feel very welcome and comfortable. They offered me water and a glass of wine while I waited with my foils in.
Abbey was my stylist and she is awesome! I have straight, fine, ash blonde hair and she knew exactly how to touch up my roots without making me look brassy or orange. I had come in to the salon with a blunt bob that I could only part on one side and wanted to be able to do a center part or side part and she gave me a cut that worked perfectly. She also was very fun to talk to and gave me lots of recommendations for things to check out around town.
I wish I was able to stay longer so I could go to her next time. I highly recommend!

My hair has never looked better. This place provides great service with little pretense. Adam at the front desk is always courteous and reminds me to schedule that next appointment. My stylist Adam is a master with the sizzles. If you want to relax and leave looking great, give this place a shot!

I tried this place once. It was pretty nice, but it was a 15 minute drive from my midtown apartment. At the time it was worth it, but its way too far now that I live in Franklin. Overall, I really liked it. My hair came out looking nice. It was a great cut and style and totally worth every penny. Parking was seriously tough for me though. I wound up parking in a random parking lot a few blocks away. There’s some shopping next-​door so thats a plus too.

Moved to Nashville a couple years ago and waited til going back home to Chicago to get my hair done until I came here and Eric worked his magic on my hair! Eric was wonderful to talk to and he knew exactly what I wanted before I even realized it myself (I’m so indecisive). He is amazing and I am so happy with my hair, I will definitely be coming back for future hair appts!

Jacki Lear is AMAZING. I’ve been in Nashville my entire life, and have switched up stylist pretty frequently… I have super thick hair and she was able to dry cut my hair (which I’ve never had a stylist try and do before Jacki) and did wonders for making my hair more manageable.

So amazing! I went with my roommate to get her haircut and I decided to get my eyebrows done. Everyone was so nice, it was a very laid back and friendly place. we will definitely be back.

OUTSTANDING! I recently moved to Nashville and had no success in finding a stylist who could cut short hair and color blondes until I came here — This is an awesome salon, great energy, and very warm and welcoming.

I moved back to Seattle from Nashville about 18 months ago, and one of the biggest things I miss about the city is Jacki at Élan Germantown.
When I first moved to Nashville, I was looking for a salon that used Bumble and bumble products. Referred to then-​Gloss (now Élan Germantown), I perused the website and picked Jacki for her love of coloring blondes. From the moment I walked in, I absolutely fell in love.
Jacki is the best stylist I’ve ever had and probably ever will have. Each time I visited, I completely trusted her to work her magic and do something great with my locks; even trusting her enough to turn me brunette.
The salon is great, too! It’s clean, modern and very fun. Adam is a hoot and I always loved the cross-​stylist/​client conversations that would go on during appointments. There’s definitely never a dull moment at Élan.
If I could rate Élan 10 stars/​5, I totally would. It’s worth every penny to have an awesome experience with an even better stylist!

I have been to quite a few hair salons in Nashville. I went to Élan in Germantown because I had a coupon to see Eric. I really wanted to do something different. Eric colored my hair from blonde to dark brown (I asked for it) and the color was amazing! It looked awesome and I’ve received tons of compliments. Eric knows his color! Also, the salon was nice and everyone was really friendly. Great experience!

I’ve been looking for a new stylist since moving back to Nashville and I have definitely found my hair’s new home. I bought a Unilocal coupon and made an appointment for the following Saturday morning for a cut and color. I got to the salon right as they were opening and the coordinator was super friendly. My stylist, Dena, arrived shortly after that and we got started. She was absolutely wonderful! She took the time to do a thorough consultation before mixing up the prettiest red I’ve ever had in my hair. I absolutely love it. She was really easy to talk to and explained about the products she was using which is awesome for trying to recreate styles at home.
We decided a trim for the cut since I didn’t want to lose much length. My bangs are back to their former glory! After a blow dry and style I had spent roughly two and a half hours in her chair (I’ve got long, thick hair) and it flew by. For the type of service and awesome results I got, I was shocked at how affordable Élan is. I’ve spent almost double for just a color at another salon in Nashville and wasn’t half as happy with the end result.
The salon itself is adorable. There’s 5 chairs and the stations are gorgeous. While the salon is a bit small, it didn’t feel crowded or loud even with a busy Saturday crowd. It was apparent that many of the clients are regulars with their stylists and I loved that vibe. It’s always nice to know people are coming back and happy with their hair. Definitely check this place out. You will NOT regret it!
