Excellent for the price. It was ½ to 1⁄3 the price of downtown hotels. Very clean and plenty of space. I guess the difference you’re paying is whether or not you want to go out and drink too much to get in a car back to the hotel? The parking lot spots were tight and we got in later than the other guests. Our car would not fit in any remaining spaces. We parked next door and left in the morning with no tickets or problems. The continental breakfast was a bit shabby and we just used our data instead of the spotty wifi but you get what you pay for. All in all a good experience for the price.

I feel like I can’t really rip The Days Inn apart, and truthfully don’t want to. It IS what it is, a cheap motel. It is not in the worst part of town, which was our biggest concern, considering the price fluctuation from the downtown area to all else in Nash. — they had us booked as a smoking room, even though I booked a non, but since my husband is a smoker I was like, «whatever».(He still couldn’t smoke in the room though!) In any case, the room smelled of smoke bad, and even upon unpacking I could smell it on clothes that stayed in the suitcase. I guess if you’re IN a smoking room, that’s what ya get. All in all, nothing to be mad about, nothing to rave about. Décor is older and the lights are that horrid brand of brightness that makes anyone’s skin look like death — but what can ya do. About a $ 12 Über ride to downtown, there is some fast food close and also a Walgreens too. A few people mentioned the parking situation — we have a large pick-up truck and YES there was some concern about the narrow spots and one side is on an odd incline, but unless you’re hauling a trailer I wouldn’t worry too much. The spots are small though. So ya have to SUCKITIN!!! :)
