It was clean and the rooms looked like they had been recently updated. I would stay there again as it’s a clean room at a reasonable price(compared to the other hotels closer to downtown). Here’s the deal — It’s a Best Western. So, set your expectations appropriately and you won’t be disappointed… in fact you may be pleasantly surprised.

Not a bad hotel at all! Right off the expressway, pretty close to downtown if you’re driving or taking an Über or other service there. Large mini-fridge and microwave. The room is clean and showers are nice and hot with plenty of water pressure. The breakfast has a couple hot offerings from eggs, biscuits, waffles, and sometimes bacon. The Walgreens next door is in 30-second walking distance and good for any supplies you forgot to pack or for picking up some drinks for the in room fridge including beers :-) I would definitely come back when staying in the Nashville area.

Clean, friendly staff, good hot breakfast. 20 min from downtown, has a Walgreens And kroger close by. Gym could use an update, but i know not everyone workouts on vacation like we do. Overall good experience

Front desk were friendly. The room was clean and tidy. Close to Walgreens and fast food. Free Wifi and breakfast. Room contained a microwave and fridge. I enjoyed a comfortable sleep. My only negative was that I booked an advanced rate and my confirmation said it was paid for at the time of booking, however, this was not charged until the day we checked in. I suppose thats partly my fault, however, don’t give me a confirmation saying I’ve been charged for my stay unless I actually have been charged. I wasn’t expecting to be charged that day so it overdrew my credit card which was annoying and not expected.

Absolutely the worst place I have ever step foot in. The owner/manager was so rude and told us our rate was going up when we checked in because we had 2 adults instead of one. The rate was booked on two queens, max 4 people. He told us to leave, he doesn’t want our money and he threw my car keys at me. I called Best Western customer service and filed a complaint. He showed the rate the same for 4 people as 1. He also new exactly who I was speaking about. Not only was he so rude but the hotel was such a smelly dump. We walked out and drove 3 miles and checked into a Hilton Garden in. DONOTSTAYHERE!

I would not recommend this hotel. It is clean and the help was friendly. The automatic sliding entry doors were a plus. It is one of those hotels that doesn’t seem to put the money back into the hotel. Room was minimally furnished. Elevator was slow & couldn’t find the stairs. The complimentary«full breakfast» was a joke. All the«continental» items were there, but the hot items were really bad. The scrambled eggs were 3″ square folded type, like something you would find in the frozen food section of your supermarket. They had NO flavor. The sausage patties were round, very thin, but ok. The sausage gravy was thin, and had a very strange taste. The waffles are the only hot item I can recommend. The hard boiled eggs also had no flavor, and tasted old. It is an overpriced budget motel.

Reading reviews for hotels in the Richland/West End area of Nashville is discouraging. But most are pretty dated and times have changed. The BW Belle Meade is a prime example although it is not on West End Ave but a short drive away. The neighborhood is fine and not the sketchy Charlotte Pike area of 20 years ago. The hotel looks brand new and is very well maintained. The baths have granite counters, floor tiles and bath surrounds over cast iron tubs. The HVAC works exceptionally well. The sound proofing from the nearby interstate is very good and the room was very quiet. The WI Fi in the room did not work but there is an ethernet cable right on the desk in the room and it worked great. The TV was a large LG flat screen. The appointments were very nice and the breakfast was great. Only the bed gets low marks since the king mattress was hard and the springs made noise when you moved. IF they replace the mattress the place would be 5 star A+. And for the price I can handle the mattress for a night or two.
