I had the Arepas and it was just too thick for me. They limit the meat and over load with beans(terrible) and cheese(good) hat you can hardly taste the meat. So the beans juice soak through the bread it just wasn’t good. For $ 10 and a drink… save your money and go to a Mexican eatery.

I ordered the chicha and pork arepa. The chicha was just okay. It’s a drink made with boiled rice, condensed milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg. I felt like it was too thick to drink, and I’m not sure if there’s anything they could have done to thin it out, but that would have made it much better! The flavor was there though! The pork in the arepa was great… bursting with flavor. I also really like the grilled dough they used for it. It is messy though because the juices from the pork and red sauce they put on it drip everywhere, so, make sure you grab plenty of napkins!

I spent a summer in Venezuela, and have missed Venezuelan street food ever since. I was really excited when I saw that Caracasville would be in the Farmer’s Market, and I was not disappointed. This is really good, authentic food. I highly recommend their arepas — make sure and try them with guasacaca sauce!

I went too close to closing and they were out of arepas. We had the empanadas, and they were good, though a little greasy. I’ve been longing for the sandwhich for some time, so it was a downer, but we will be back.
