Cadeau

Located in my little stretch of the Nashville world, 12 South, and right smack next to the fabulous ice cream shop that is Jeni’s Ice Cream you will find this gem of a shop called Cadeau.
Items carried range from furniture to accessories for your home décor (e.g., candles) to homewares (e.g. plates) to accessories for yourself (e.g. soaps). It is really a vast array of goods for you and your home. Many of the items are locally crafted or locally restored.
It can be a tad confusing to understand what is and what is not for sale. But, I’ll give you a helpful hint: everything is negotiably for sale in Cadeau. Just because that custom wagon wheel and old steel table has candles and such on it does not mean that it is not for sale. Cadeau regularly moves even the items like the tables they use to display other merchandise. If you like the item, I suggest that you just ask and negotiate from there.
I’ve purchased several great frames, a mirror, and then accessory items from Cadeau. I love having them in the neighborhood and I love that I can get ice cream afterward. It’s like an overstimulated heaven: spend money shopping and then eat a delightful ice cream treat.

Beautiful shop. You feel like you’re walking into a really well designed home.
The items they carry are very eclectic with homewares, candles, furniture, accessories, whatnot. The prices were a bit steep for me. But you never know I might need a ceramic skull with a gold grill.
My only problem was confusion as to what was a lovely display and what was actually for sale.

Located next to Jeni’s in 12 South is this gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous shop.
I seriously feel so inspired to entertain, host, and glam up my abode each and every time that I step foot into this haven of style and grace.
From the carefully curated coffee table books, place settings, and home décor to the lighting fixtures and furniture, you feel as if you stepped into an editorial shoot for Dwell or House Beautiful.
While some of the items are splurges, you can also find little accents and gift-​worthy pieces for reasonable prices as well. If you feel financially comfortable shopping at West Elm and Restoration Hardware, you won’t raise an eyebrow here, folks.

I love everything in this store! They have amazing candles, furniture and much more. It is unlike any store I have seen in Nashville. I would recommend checking this place out!
