thank you Andrea for making our 1^st haircut with our son go great! she was friendly, calming and flexible when he hated having the cape on. she gave great suggestions for how to cut his hair and it turned out fabulous. next she cut our daughters hair and it came out better than I could ask for. this location has a friendly staff, clean and geared towards kids. we look forward to coming back Andrea!!!

I liked the concept of the movies and the fun seats. However, the place could be cleaner. The lady who cut my son’s hair hit my son’s ears with the comb so hard that he started to cry. You would think these people would be gentle with kids. The haircut was all uneven at the end. I am not happy and will not return.

Love the atmosphere and the people are very friendly however everytime I take my son here his hair isn’t cut even. If you look at him up close it’s all choppy. I know it’s not just one hairstylist because we have never had the same one. Also it’s not like he is moving during the haircut he is usually well behaved. Unfortunately we will not be back.

Loved our experience here! Nadya was great! It was our daughters first haircut and Nadya made it a wonderful experience. She was quick and did exactly what we wanted. They had tons of movies to select from to keep our daughter distracted. After her haircut, our daughter received a certificate with her picture and a lock of her hair. Then she was able to pick a toy from the a treasure chest. Overall it was a great experience, and we’ll definitely be returning.

We decided to take both kids in to get a haircut without making an appointment. The girls there were definitely pleasant and easy going. They handled both my kids quite well. I like that they give the kids an option to watch a video or play a game while they are getting their hair cut. Basically something to distract them from squirming around. The price is a little steep. I’m a little annoyed that they sell a ton of toys and hair accessories there. I had to play the bad mom to rip them out of my kids hands and leave with screaming little ones.

I like the service and the overall facility. It’s great memorabilia for taking pictures of your little ones getting their haircut in a small police car, etc.

When the Wheaton location closed, we followed our stylist to the Naperville location. She is amazing and my girls adore her. She cuts and styles my daughter’s hair so it lays just right. The cuts look fresh and clean.

My sons — ages 6 and 2 — both got cute cuts from Jaimee. She did a great job and was very nice. My younger one was upset at first but she did a good job making him happy (good movie, sucker, cheetos). We drove 40 min to get here but well worth it.

Do not go to Denise. She butchered my little girl’s curls. She called it adding layers, but it looked terrible. We are taking family pictures soon. I want to cry…

Miss Denise is the best! She was so patient and understanding while my nephew Dominic got his hair cut (he screamed, cried the whole time, my sister had to hold him Lol). She did a great job. She was so sweet too. Thank you Denise :)

We love KidSnips, my daughter has been going here since she was 2 years old and she is now 5. She loves going to watch a movie and get her hair cut. The staff is great and friendly. Highly recommended!

Took my son for his first haircut and we had an amazing experience! The lady was super friendly and patient with my squirmy 10 month old! They also gave us a cute certificate to frame of our first memory!

Miss Jamie did a great job on our (often squirmy) almost-​3-​year-​old boy. She had lots of tricks to keep him sitting still and so she was able to give him a great haircut in about 10 minutes. She gave him exactly what we asked for, a shorter neater version of his shaggy ‘do.
It’s kind of pricey ($ 18) but worth it!
The only caveat is that the place is filled with toys — to buy — and so my son had a meltdown when he realized he wasn’t getting any of the toys on the shelf.

I took my son in a few days ago for his 1^st haircut.
We were greeted by the receptionist as soon as we walked in & the stylist (Jamiee) was ready to take him before I had even finished filling out the information sheet.
I just wanted a little trim beause I still want him to look like a baby.
She cut his hair exactly like I wanted… a trim. It still looks exactly the same, just shorter.
My son really liked her (he can like you, love you or scream like a maniac if you talk to him or touch him)
He sat pretty much still for her, so we will be back when he needs his next haircut.
He got a cute certificate & with his picture & lock of hair in a small plastic baggie attached to it.
Update: Took my son in around early Feb for an actual «haircut» with the same girl, since his trim came out great.
Well, it looked cute for the 1^st few days but, as it grew it just looked worse & worse.
I will be getting it cut tomorrow (somewhere else)(not sure where yet?), I had to let it grow out as much as possible so the next person can even it out & make it look less «chunky»

I am incredibly disappointed in my son’s first haircut. The salon itself is essentially a dirty toy store, with a couple of car themed chairs throughout. The stylist, and I use that term loosely, who cut my sons hair was polite but clearly inexperienced. She used clippers on his neck which left half of the back of his head bald (literally) and even that hairline that is uneven, at best.
I fully understand that toddlers are squirmy, however you’d think that since they do this for a living, they’d be competent. I showed my own stylist a photo of my son’s hair cut and she was absolutely horrified.
I will never, ever go back and I’d suggest that if you are looking for a hair cut that doesn’t make your kid look ridiculous, find somewhere else.

Took my son here for his first official haircut. It was my first time in a designated kid salon and I was pleasantly surprised. Balloons, bubbles, and Barney … not to mention a treasure chest of goodies for my son to choose from after his haircut. Nicole was his stylist and she was fantastic with him. They took his picture and placed it on a certificate with a lock of his hair. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

I don’t recall participating in a particularly heinous act recently, so I was baffled as to the reason I found myself in this torture chamber that is called KidSnips (I subscribe to the concept of karma).
Imagine an hour of aimless wandering among several wall displays of overpriced, uninteresting toys all the while being assaulted with a cacophony of hysterical toddler wails and screams (this was a Monday evening near closing time) and then having to pay handsomely for the priviledge. That’s KidSnips.
Understaffed (as evidenced by the hour wait), nowhere to sit (except an empty toddler barber’s chair), pricey, and highly unpleasant. When our turn eventually rolled around, the stylist did a good job, but the trade off isn’t worth it.

Hands down the best place to take my boys for their hair cuts! I love the girls that work here and the job they do is excellent. Even my kids love going!

I don’t know what I’d do without KidSnips! We had tried cutting his hair at home which led to horrific results (bowl cut, anyone?) and my son freaks out whenever we’re snipping around his ears. But the stylists here are not only patient, but they have a way of cutting hair quickly and efficiently. They’ve been able to get my son over his fear of «the buzzer», and he always looks forward to the treasure box and lollipop. No more bowl cuts and short-​short bangs in this house!
