Had a Group on appt with Jillian for cut, wash, style. I think Jillian did a great job as far as the cut and listening to what I wanted. I do think the style part was pretty lacking especially to a prospective new client I think it was very flat and boring which is what I was explaining what I wanted to fix. Part of me thought that wasn’t so well executed and was it because I was a Group on purchaser. I wouldn’t hesitate going there again (out of my way) and more frequently if the prices weren’t going to be above $ 40. I mean for the time taken to cut (don’t really call a 4 min blow dry and few passes with a straight iron a style) I would pay 30 – 33 but definitely not $ 40.

Jillian was great! She listened to what I wanted and what I was concerned about with my hair and gave great advice. Ended up with a great cut. Highly recommed!

I didn’t think I could go any farther for my favorite stylist, Kathleen… but…YEP. I’m driving from Chicago to Naperville for her now!

Jillian has been coloring and cutting my hair for a few years and always does a great job. I always get compliments from women about my hair color and highlights. She takes her time and is always friendly and fun to chat with. She has even had to endure some of my own attempts at root touch ups and gave me advise rather than telling me never to do that again. I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

I followed Jillian to this salon and am happy to make the longer drive. She has cut and colored my hair for several years and I have always loved the result. A woman actually slowed down in a parking lot to yell out her window that she loved my hair! What more can you ask for? The salon itself is friendly and always clean.

I have been going to Jillian for a few years now. She is the first person I let color my hair! I would not go to anyone else for my color. Jillian takes her time and always has great suggestions as to what would look good and frankly after I get my hair colored by Jillian it looks stunning! I get a lot of compliments. Ok, so being a female we all know what it’s like to have someone new cut and color your hair. It’s almost like finding a pair of good fitting jeans, once you find that perfect stylist-​life is good a near perfect fit!
I have been seeing Jillian for almost 15 years now, she’s my favorite ! She listens, consults, gives advice and ultimately gives the best outcome based on the individual-​not what is best for her or more money. She is a magical hair colorist ninja, she whips up color and it is always creative and I get compliments every time I see her. Her cuts mimic the same creative flow, and she’s a perfectionist, no stray bangs here!
Not to mention Jillian is just a cool chic. If you don’t feel like chatting, she understands and lets you relax. If you feel like spilling the beans or having some long lost girl talk, she’s on it. Enjoy her, enjoy your fabulous cut and color!

I’ve been seeing Shawn for around 12+ years now and I can honestly say she does the best hair cut in the Naperville area. Every visit with her is a real treat. She is the most friendly, caring stylist, giving each client of her undivided attention and remembering even the smallest details of their life so next time you see her, you can pick up where you left off. I adore her and I’m so happy she’s branched off and started her own business – her success is hard earned and it couldn’t happen to a nicer woman.
I started seeing Rita when Shawn relocated (cut and color in one place just makes sense) and I freaking love her. She is warm and friendly and open, but more importantly she is well-​versed when it comes to hair color and truly a master of her craft. She listens, makes suggestions and give any amazing color make-​over each time.
The brass tacks:
–Shawn and Rita keep their prices incredibly reasonable, considering their incredible skill-​level. Similar services would run you twice as much as other salons. I think that’s something everyone can appreciate.
–The salon is beautiful, clean and organized.
–Customer service is beyond reproach. For a salon run by independents the flow is seamless in comparison to other salons, there will a welcoming receptionist, and an assistant.
–The feeling is neighborhood barbershop meets big salon. It’s casual and fun but the work is flawless.
–Nearly full service, the only thing missing is «spa treatments» … you can get your color, cut, mani, pedi, and wax all in one place!
As an ex-​stylist myself, I cannot rave about these two wonderful ladies enough, and nothing I say will ever really do them justice. If you’re looking to make a change, or seeking to try someone new, or if you’re new to area and looking for a team of professional to trust your hair to… look no further, you’ve found them!

I go to Jillian for my hair cuts and coloring. I’ve actually been following her to her different salons over the years because I love her work. She has a great eye for what would look good on someone, takes time to consult with you to determine what you’re looking for, and isn’t afraid to make suggestions if she thinks something else might work better. Jillian is very detail-​oriented with her work, which is why I love her! And her hair coloring techniques are superb! Elate Salon is a wonderful place to get my hair services done (they also offer nail services) because it’s so QUIET compared to other big, noisy salons that are out there. I really enjoy coming here!

I, like the other reviewers, have been going to Shawn for over 10 years. She is the best! I constantly get compliments about my style and cut. The new salon is adorable and very inviting. I have starting going to Rita for coloring. Both Shawn and Rita are very knowledgeable and experienced with all types of hair. The prices are reasonable and the service is top-​notch! Every visit feels like an outing with old friends. With the number of clients they both have, they manage to be flexible in appointments. This salon is truly a place not to be missed… guaranteed to be a phenomenal haircut or coloring!

This place is a gem. The stylists and colorists here come with many years of experience from Zano’s. True professionals who are very skilled at their trade. I especially love Shawn and Rita. They truly care about their customers. Are flexible with scheduling appointments. They will even accept walk-in’s should time allow.

Between my husband and myself we have been going to Shawn for the past seven years. We started with Shawn at Zanos, but when Shawn moved to Elate we didn’t even think twice about following her there. She is always accommodating, friendly and best of all gives a GREAT haircut.

I love Shawn at Elate; I went to her after 10 years of truly great haircuts at Zano’s-Lisle. Shawn has all the qualities of a really première, knowledgeable, flexible stylist; it’s fantastic to see she’s got her own growing business now. She’s very busy; a lot of clients have followed her so I’m glad her schedule lets me get in to see her. But Elate is a growing business and the sign says «Welcome walk-​ins».
