I have a lot of hair, but $ 75 for an hour blowout? Really? Was it a great blow out? Oh, hell yes, but dayummmmm… $ 75 without tip?! I was actually quoted $ 60 on the phone, but I’m assuming since I have a hefty head of hair they tagged on some extra cost?

The salon is conveniently located in downtown, if convenience is downtown as parking can be limited during the busy summer season. This place seems to be constantly busy as it’s a full service salon and spa meaning they do hair, nails, makeup, skin and maybe even massages. Definitely upscale and great service, but gosh for $ 75, I wish I added a haircut on, it probably would have been about the same price.
My hair looked awesome, it smelled wonderful, the ladies working seemed to be super nice and professional (high five Jodie) and I was happy. My Nantucket mantra applies here: «if money ain’t a thing, this place is definitely for the win.» Probably my first and last time getting my hair did on Nantucket; I can’t afford it, yo!

Made my unfortunate decision to stay out at the Box until 2am the morning of my wedding disappear! Wish I could share before and after pictures…
Really cannot recommend Sara enough, she was super flexible when I had to stay on the phone figuring out decoration questions and who needed to pick up what. They came in on a Sunday for us, and stayed a bit past when the original appointment was scheduled for. Wonderful, wonderful staff, definitely worth every penny!

I had a hard time finding a nail salon on the island. Thankfully the inn keeper at Sherburne Inn gave me Darya’s phone number. They are right in town on centre street, right across from the bean! There are only about three nail salons in Nantucket that I know of and two in town. At first, I wasn’t able to get in to Darya but they called back and squeezed me in.
I sat in the back and the nail tech, Rebecca was great. She was very thorough and took her time with the mani. The mani was $ 45, much pricier than I would typically pay but it was worth it and my nails have not chipped yet! I will return next time I am in Nantucket.
