This is a must when visiting Boston. The store is stocked with really wonderful items, ranging from housewares to accessories. Currently my favorites are the Bree and Mandarina Duck bags. Everything is so beautiful to look at and we enjoy checking out all their treasures. The person working there when we came in, was very friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable about all the products. We could spend half a day in there because as the name suggests, it is like bliss.

Yup, it’s Best of Boston for a reason. Though I only flew in quickly, I was able to assess — I did see pricey, and I did see inexpensive, and I did see a huge Alessi section, some John Derian, and lots and lots of unique place settings. SO tempting… Nice job by the buyer. Very nice job. I was also helped by staff as soon I walked in. She was ready and willing to show me what they had — lamps, yup, here here and here — and point out the deals on funky $ 7 place mats. I’ll be back.

I love 98% of the items in the store! GOBS of fine designed kitchen gadgets, flat wear, serving pieces, china, etc. Nice misc home accessories, textiles and decorations. I registered her for my wedding and was happy with them t first but the moment I needed to return something they turned on me. What disorganized idiots. It’s also very overpriced. But they have a fabulous buyer, it’s a joy to shop and look around!

If you have some cash to blow for no particular reason whatsoever, then this is your destination. Or, perhaps you’re looking for the Alessi brand of sleek Italian kitchen items. In addition to funky home décor, classic French provinicial linens, and delicate chinaware, Bliss Home(known to most shoppers as simply Bliss) also carries sweet jewelry and accessories and random items such as Ugly Dolls. Categories of items listed on their Web site include dinnerware, stemware, flatware, serverware, giftware, textiles, barware, baby, pet, personal care, housewares, furniture, and accessories. It’s a bit of a hodgepodge and therefore menacing to the breakables if you’ve already done some shopping elsewhere on Newbury and have bulky bags with you. A great place to find a gift. Sadly, I went to check out their registry online before my wedding and decided that while a few people might want to drop that much money on me, this was unlikely to be true for all the guests. But, if everyone you know is posh, you will be pleased to know that you can, indeed, register here.

beautiful stuff for the home and for yourself. they are the only place in boston where you can find mandarina duck bags(stylish travel and personal bags from italy). they have a great selection of alessi products(including watches and jewelry), really great selection of contemporary china and silver, and beautiful nani marquina rugs. they have the kind of stuff that IKEA knocks off. on the cutting edge of design. you can also do a gift registry at the store or on their website.

A clean, fun, petite, colorful, shop of home goodies. Carpets, dishwares, lugage, knick knacks, chairs, and some fun toys. They carry allessi products and some european brand houseware. It’s a small shop but never to crowded. I’ve never actually bought anything here, but would for presents, or if I owned my own place. go there to excite your eyes… prices range. some affordable, some a bit to high. Others a great place!

This place is so cute! Check out the place mats, really fun to look through. Reminded me a bit of Funusual which is probably cheaper. The salesgirl was really friendly and if I ever need a random housewarming gift for something, I will certainly think of this place!
