I’ve been here twice and the service both times was super fast and friendly. Last night we had a bit of a wait, totally understandable on a Friday night. I was there for the beer and the selection is more than fair. I’m not going to critique the vegan/alternative diet food that I had up the wall. I’m more than grateful they have an entire menu dedicated to the vegan/alternative diet crowd, with the products listed that they use. I applaud them for doing just that. I ordered the vegan garlic bread for my friend and I to share. It was basically pizza dough in a flattened swirl with garlic, oil, and mozzarella Daiya cheese on top, with marinara dipping sauce. I ordered the vegan white«chicken» pesto pizza. The crust is very thin and crispy. The«chicken» was fried or something so it didn’t have a bad mouth feel, but a pleasant, flavorful one. My friend ordered a vegetarian panini and was pleased. I appreciate this place because of the service and offerings. Oh and the beer, duh. There’s nothing to bitch about and there’s something for everyone.

While everyone in my party of 12 enjoyed their food, I made the mistake of ordering Nona’s Eggplant Parmesan Panini. Big mistake, Nona would never have been revered as a cook in my Italian family. It was bland, tasteless mush.

We had lunch here a few weekends ago. The beer selection is great and included many local options, the pizza was excellent and the service was perfect. Highly recommended!

Hours are not accurate to what’s listed. Disappointing, would have ordered earlier if listing was accurate.

Excellent restaurant for vegans! My favorite is the vegan pesto pizza. I could have eaten 16 slices but I had to share haha

Amazing cool little bar downstairs with great local beer selections. Friendly service. Yummy pizza. If their pizzas were a tad cheaper(CT instead of NYC prices) I would give it 5 stars.

I did not have the best experience recently, but the manager Gary made this right. This was my favorite restaurant in Mystic for years. We ordered for the table a few plates of meatballs. The waitress rang us up the full price of a panini. We we overcharged $ 25. This was after very poor service. The waitress offered us water and never asked if we wanted any drinks. Gary made it right and kept me as a customer. I’m proud he did this. I can recommend this place again.

This might have been one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Thin crust, soo much flavor and nice and crispy. We also had the garlic bread which was just as good. Our waitress was super friendly and great service. The outside seating was really nice and loved the live music. Thought it was pretty cool that they were dog friendly also.

OMG. I’m from Philly and we LOVE to eat. This place was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. I had the white shrimp florentine and it was probably the best pizza I’ve ever had. Their wings were great too. I’d definitely recommend this place.

This is among the best of pizza houses. Most of the seating is outside, inside there is a snug bar and a few tables. There are some other items, but the menu is about pizza… almost too many choices. The crusts are medium thin, and the components high quality. Service was prompt and charming. The young lady knew the menu and had good recommendations. Her name was Quinn, I think. The water was awful, but that is a general local problem apparently.

Had an excellent night out. A lot of patrons seemed impatient because of the wait but it’s a Saturday night, we are in old Mystic, so relax, right?

I’ll start off with the fact that I ordered gluten free bread and the waitress had given me a sandwich that wasn’t gluten free so I of course asked her to take it back. And repeated«I am gluten free» she then snarled back«are you gluten free by choice or will you like die if you eat it» So rude. Pretty sure all the staff there are between 16 – 20 years old all females. Very naïve to food knowledge, allergies and especially the beer /wine list. I won’t take my business here again.

My expectations for Pizzetta were high due to two friends recommendations. Both friends lived in Italy with me the past two years and know a good pizza. Unfortunately, they ate at this restaurant BEFORE moving to Italy, so I can’t be too harsh in my judgment of their recommendations. The pizza at Pizzetta was terrible BOTH times I went. Thin crust, lackluster ingredients(chicken might come from a can), and boring appetizers. What do they have gong for them? Outside seating, decent happy hour draft specials, and occasional live music. If you only have one night in Mystic, go to Mystic Pizza, which is a block away and has Julie Roberts plastered everywhere. Also, their ingredients are super fresh and the dough is comfortably tasty.

Animal lovers and allergen free pizza! My little dog and I could dime together. Family atmosphere, service is slow, but a decent wine and beer list

Extremely disappointed with the three large pizzas we picked up for $ 49!!! They looked nothing like the photos posted on Unilocal. Our pizzas had barely any cheese or sauce. I should have checked the pizzas when picking them up and asked for a receipt to know why we were being charged so much, but we were in a rush to get them home for family. Everyone commented on how much they didn’t care for the pizza and were amazed that we paid so much.

A nice pizza place with many vegan options. Finding vegan pizza in Connecticut can be tough, but not only does Pizzetta have a separate vegan menu, they also offer several vegan appetizers too. We started with the vegan nuggets, spicy buffalo style. They were good, simple, but good. The vegan garlic bread was very greasy, yet still tasted delicious. The texture was a little tough. Ideally, I’d like garlic bread that’s crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. The pizza we chose was the veggie pesto and it was very good. Thin crust, fresh toppings and it was bigger than I expected. Even though I can eat a lot, the two of us could barely finish half of it. Our waitress was great too. Very friendly and helpful. The whole experience was very inviting. I would love to come back again and try other things!

Of course I had to stop at Mystic Pizza while on my tour of New England, but when I read the Unilocal reviews for pizza in Mystic, you, my fellow Unilocalers, rated Pizzetta higher. This didn’t mean I had to choose between Mystic Pizza and Pizzetta. It just meant I had to stop at both. I went here after trying two different slices at Mystic Pizza(pepperoni and buffalo chicken). The vibe at Pizzetta is awesome. I felt like I was in a home, and frankly, I was. The server was friendly, the pizza was good, and they seemed to have a nice wine selection here, but I just enjoyed the pizza at Mystic Pizza much better. Pizzetta’s super thin crust didn’t win me over in comparison to the thicker crust and overall flavor of the pizza at Mystic Pizza. Still, I would definitely go back here for lunch or dinner. They also have a cozy outdoor seating area.
