Always a delicious«must do» on the Mystic itinerary! Perfectly cooked brick oven pizza, bubbling crust, fresh ingredients, and a pleasant staff! Love this super little casual spot! Don’t let the small size fool you of the extra large value and taste!

Went here on 2⁄17 with my two teenagers for lunch. It was our first time here and we really enjoyed our experience. It wasn’t very busy at the time we went(1:00 or so), so we were seated right away. Dine-in area isn’t very big, but it was clean and bright. Our waitress/hostess was very nice(I wish I caught her name) and personable. She took our drink orders right away. We ordered a cheese, a Hawaii 5 – 0(pineapple and ham), and a Jake(chicken and bacon). Pizzas were very good. Crust was thin and the sauce was made from fresh tomatoes(there were chunks). It started to get busy, so we didn’t want to linger too long. We took our leftovers to go and paid our bill at the front counter. As we were leaving everyone at the front counter, even the man at the pizza oven thanked us for coming in. Very happy with our lunch at Mango’s and recommend them if you are in the Mystic area.

The closet thing to pizza from home near school. Secretly it’s the water that makes New York pizza what is, which is basically a food group. That said, the pizza at Mango is tasty and I look forward to eating it in the future!

Cute and casual with some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! Great craft beer selection, too. Some local beers, which was nice. Friendly, laid-back staff. Customize your pizza however you wish! Delicious!

This was my first time visiting Mystic and my first time having CT pizza. You would think that coming from NYC and having formerly worked in one of the city’s most renowned pizza joints I would be a pretty hard sell, but honestly I LOVED this pizza. Better than a lot of pizza places in the five boroughs that get lots of accolades. We came in at lunch time and didn’t deal with any of the crowding that others have mentioned. My boyfriend had an Italian Hero which was massive. He has a big appetite and still had to have his second half wrapped up to go. I had my own pie, half Funky Monkey, half Hogwild. Both halves were soooo good, although I think I’m partial to the Funky Monkey. The little sausage meatballs with banana peppers is just such a great combo and their cheese/sauce are perfect. I usually do not eat crust, but I ate ALL the crust. It is truly rare that I will order a pizza and moan with every bite, but that’s what happened here. Each new bite made my brain go, «REALLY? How is this SOGOOD?» You know you are really enjoying your meal when you involuntarily say, «Damn,» through a mouthful of food each and every bite. I would make a trip all the way back to Mystic for this pizza. The only reason I left off a star is because I was a newb to the scene, and because I didn’t care for the Foxon Park sodas at all and wish there had been other options. I had the Kola and my boyfriend had the Grape and we both agreed that they tasted a little bit off. Not a smooth finish, but a strange, off-putting chemical aftertaste. But the pizza was bangin! We’ll be back!

Came here with 2 small children and 4 medium-sized adults. The waitstaff were great. Very accommodating for the kids, and very quick to get our order in. This place doesn’t have too many tables, so I think there is a bit of a focus on getting people in and out, but that’s fine for a relaxed pizza place. The pizza was good enough — not the greatest pizza in the world, but the toppings seemed fresh and the crust was reasonably thin. I also got a sub sandwich, which was one of the biggest grinders I’ve ever seen. Tasty, but nothing totally special. If you’re looking for a casual, quick, bite after petting sharks @ the adjacent aquarium, you can’t do much better than Mangos.

Killer. Olde Mystic Village isnt exactly swimming with good eats, but Mango’s puts the A+ in New Haven style Apizza. Quick baked, slightly charred crust, fresh tangy sauce and plentiful toppings make for a solid lunch. A small pie will comfortably serve 2. Foxon park sodas round out the authentic Southern Connecticut pizza experience– and that is the whole package pizza experience… and if you dont know, now you know, pizzaaaahhhh. Nom.

We saw people lined up, so we figured it was a good place to eat! It was! Friendly service, terrific pizza, and an excellent salad. We ate on the porch which was fun to take in the ambience of Olde Mystick Village.

Three stars is generous, really 2 ½. Thin crust pizza — the crust was crispy but towards the middle a little soggy. Toppings seemed fresh and all in all it was okay. The salad had white onions(which I personally think are best cooked — red onions are better for salad). I asked for grilled chicken and it came poached, which wouldn’t be such a big deal, I just wished the waitress would have informed me. They definitely ration there salad dressing which seems silly. The outside area is a nice place to eat with the family — until a patron twenty feet away and on the restaurant property lights up a cigarette — very inconsiderate when multiple families with infants are attempting to enjoy a meal(especially one where not a single baby was crying.) too expensive for the quality — maybe there is a shortage of good pizza places in the area?

Amazing pizza! Service was outstanding. My girls like regular plain pizza so I was bummed I couldn’t get some speciality pizza which other tables ordered. Would def take a trip to go back.

By far the best pizza in the area. The bootlegger is our favorite. I honestly think their cheese makes their pizzas. Definitely a better pizza than Pizzetta. They are very small, but if you can sit outside during the summer, do so. Great to watch people walk by as the shops in Olde Mystick Village close at night. We used to dine here weekly for almost a year until we got a Da-Love salad(as we always did) and found dead flies in the salad. Not the end of the world, we sent it back, they apologized and told us they would make us a new one and take it off the bill. The new salad came back and there were more dead flies. Obviously they were hidden amongst the lettuce and the cook was not looking.

Pizza is solid alternative in mystic when you aren’t in the mood for greek style pizza… I think this place is better than pizzetta when going head to head. where mangos falls on its face is in outside service /hostess… they really simply don’t know what they are doing. I waited 20 minutes before I simply ordered take out(15 minute estimate). There was no sense of urgency as 10 people who were waiting, stared at empty prepared tables… frustrating. order takeout, you cant go wrong there…

Not really impressed with the flavor of the food although service was top notch. They have about 25 craft beers available in the bottle and I think two domestics on tap. It seems as though most of the pizza joints in the area serve greek/pan style pizza and we were looking for that char! We got the char on the edges of the crust but the center was pretty flimsy and not quite what we were looking for. We also felt that the pizza lacked flavor with the pineapple and ham tasting like they were not made in house or of a quality heritage. I think its the best option if you are in Mystick Village though. Three kids root beers, one craft brew, one small cheese, and one Hawaiin pizza set us back around $ 50.

Maybe it’s true… I’m spoiled by New York. Crust is crunchy, but that’s where it ends. Nothing special. They don’t serve individual slices, and couldn’t make large pies due to some food festival. They only told us after we sat and ordered drinks. Ordered a margarita pie. Fresh sliced plum tomatoes, sliced mozzarella, sea salt, and basil. What we got was plain cheese pizza with 13 pieces of basil… I counted. Will not go back.

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! A little pricey for a pie but well worth it. Good selection of craft beers as well and it’s located in a cool spot within mystic village. I live an hour away and would come back down here just for the pizza. My wife got a salad which was a generous size and she said it was excellent. Everything they make is cooked in the wood fried oven and the other things such a sandwiches u saw people eating looked fantastic too

One of the better pizza joints in the area as far as the crust goes. We came here one winter evening so no crowds and excellent friendly service. The four of us ordered a small pie each and had plenty to take home. I think my favorite was the prosciutto and arugula. The rest of the toppings were good but not memorable. Nice reasonably priced wine list. It wasn’t extensive but it had Banfi’s Centine which in itself is a great value. On a winter evening there is plenty of space and I’m sure that when the out door seating is available things are ok but some how I see Mango’s as having the potential to be crowded. I will continue exploring but this is a good spot if you are in the neighborhood. I’ll be back.

Pizza was delicious. We had a plain one with added chicken. Salads were fresh. The size of the chicken bites were on the smaller side. Those were good, but a little bit too salty to my taste. Service could have been better. The girl who took our order was pretty friendly, not so much was the hostess. We ended up deciding to have our food to go because there’s a 15 – 20 min wait during lunch hours and we were running out of time. Cute décor. Family and kids friendly.

This is certainly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Why the three stars you ask? The service was horrible. We ordered the BBQ pizza with the pulled pork, onions, and bacon, it was out of this world. REAL fresh Mozzarella cheese and fresh ingredients. Seriously, this pizza makes you want to slap your mama! So very delicious. We also ordered a pizza with Feta, spinach, and tomatoes, it too was amazing. Now on to the problems; we were seated right away which is fantastic but the table had not been wiped down, nor had the bench. The hostess didn’t even bother to notice the dirty table and bench, even after my eight year old refused to sit on the bench because of the crumbs and lettuce pieces. I had to tell him to wipe it off and just sit as the dining room is small and everyone was looking at us. The hostess brought menus and went on her way. When our waitress Tracy came back with our drinks she(without noticing) spilled some apple juice on my daughter’s hair and shirt. I asked her for napkins and she snapped with annoyance«I haven’t brought them yet because I haven’t brought the plates yet.» and off she went. Tracy never did return with those requested napkins, my daughter had a damp shoulder and sticky hair for the rest of the day. Also, maybe I would have been able to wipe the crap off of the table had I gotten napkins before the table was filled with food. If you can’t handle your waitressing job without getting an attitude over a simple question because you’re overwhelmed or had a bad day, it’s probably time to reconsider your line of work. We left Tracy a 15% tip, I never, ever, EVER leave less than 20%. The pizza is too good not to give it another go, but if I get Tracy or another attitude driven waitress I will put the nix on it. Service with an attitude leaves such a bad taste in my mouth.

The ambiance is great. Very relaxed in mystic village shops. Picnic bench tables in the porch. Very small place. Small pizzas about $ 10 and large $ 15. Many Delish topping choices and speciality pizzas. I had prosuitto and arugula. It was great and only $ 13.50. My kids shared a cheese which they made with only hard sauce. Service was great and very accommodating. When in the area I would definitely go back. Best crust and cheese!!!
