McLimited? You McSeriously do not offer the BigMac right now??? Yes a one star review from me. Wow! I hate writing these, but it’s a chain so let me share my experience and why. I actually have not complaints about fast food as most reviews of fast food are, but an interesting reason why one star and they shouldn’t be open if the McBusiness isn’t possible here or maybe like only one of the two branches very near each other could offer, well… The McFOOD and McMenu! It was late night. So like anywhere, food options(including the fast food places even) and pizza place options were few to be open. Always fast food or pizza at any hour past 11:00 pm and limited places are open. McDonald’s on Myrtle Beach may as well just join the«closed» group of restaurants and fast food chains. I mean, has anyone of all time heard of a BigMac? «Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed bun.» No normal beef patties = no BigMac? Wow. Of all things to limit from the menu, a Big Mac, cheeseburger, all the late night eats that are truly the sandwiches on that«value menu» we all love and don’t admit wanting a simple McDouble cheeseburger for $ 1 at night. Forget it, no value menu either. Ok, well, are they switching to breakfast perhaps… Nope, not until 5am! How about a Happy Meal then? I love those toys at my small McDonalds back in the south side of a small town in Indiana rocks and know the bringing on a limited breakfast menu ADDED to the lunch/dinner menu for the 12p-4a crowd. They will serve fries OR hashbrowns and you can mix and match a breakfast or lunch value meal at these weird hours. Not that this is how McDonald’s should be, I know that’s spoiled in a small town, but it’s a chain here and even though often desserts close down, and it’s breakfast or lunch — I have never seen the general lunch/dinner menu closed. Either McDonalds is open or closed. They might as well be closed if seriously all they are serving is quarter pounder meals and variations of what they can toss on those. In a tourist area and MYRTLEBEACH I am shocked to have gone through two drive thru’s to learn you can get fries and anything with quarter pounder meat patties. Nothing with regular meat thus removing about 75% of the menu. No kids meals, no value menu, no breakfast menu, limited value meal. One of the two McDs offered a filet if fish meal, the other did not. I imagine it’s what’s left over in the heating trays after going through two drive thru’s. Yucky! There was I think the nugget meal available? The drive thru’s both say something like, «We have numbers 3 – 6 and 9−11÷12(12 was filet o fish and only one offered) available right now.» All regular meat items, fish or chicken(besides nuggets), and the value/kids menu was not available. What could I eat? A quarter pounder meal. A double quarter pounder meal. The special topping whatever quarter pounder meal… You get the idea. I wanted fresh regular size fries and a large pop with my meal. I got charged and received large fries. So about $ 7.50 for a large quarter pounder meal about 2am. My fries were hot. My sandwich was warm but I can tell had been sitting on the warmer for a while by the melted cheese as it was(yeah I eat a lot of McDonald’s — don’t judge me, lol — and worked at one in high school. I know my cheese!) So my order was wrong a little and I was charged. Thank gosh the fries were hot. It’s sad I wasted the extra because I could have quarter pounder meal A, B, or C. If you can’t make a regular meat patty on the same meat grill, I think the McDonalds here are causing the brand harm rather than good. If you can’t serve a BigMac or cheeseburger/hamburger at a McDonald’s I think it’s time to close for the late night hours. This was shocking to even see open, and like this I would be more impressed seeing them not be open to tell me they are open but truly serving nothing. For real… It’s the quarter pounder whatever ONLY menu. Why bother? If I drove out of my way from an online search for open late and came here to learn this info I would be so upset. A family on a road trip might do this and can’t even get a happy meal or value menu item. This is sad. Just post«closed» so only people driving by will stop and not detour to learn it’s really not«open.» That requires a menu to be served if you are a McDonald’s branch. This is a tourist area and Myrtle Beach. How is that happening and where is the BigMac? McDonald’s allows that?! Lol. Wow! Dislike. Wrong order, wrong charging, not what I would order at all, this hardly counts as «open 24÷7» because fast food should include FOOD and McDonald’s has a menu we all could expect and even with some late night limitations, not the hamburger, cheeseburger, and BigMac! Really? Wow. I feel like it’s misleading to even state«open» online.

A very modern/new looking McDonald’s location. Fast, courteous, accurrate, and speedy. I think the best thing about this location is the drive-thru. Prettty efficient. I really appreciated the kindness of the worker b/c my dog almost jumped out of the car into the McDonald’s. She was pretty cool, calm, and collected about the possibility about a pooch in the restaurant. HAHAHA!!! Anyway, nice clean McDonald’s. Thumbs up!
