They were hired to provide food and drink for a breakfast brunch. They were 2.5 hours late with the food, yes I said two and a half hours late. They screwed up which happens sometimes but I was totally unsatisfied with how they chose to rectify the problem. They basically did nothing but act like this was not a big deal. The business practice here is to collect all monies up front and refuse to offer any refund for dissatisfied customers. I wish someone had warned me about this place beforehand as I am warning you!

we have eaten here many times over the last few months, only had one or two mix ups, over all its a great southern cooking place. Love the beef brisket its so good, and the neck bone and rice is fantastic. the often run out of things as this is a sign of those things being sooo yummy.

A few months back i tried kolas because there was a flyer under the door and i didn’t feel like driving in the snow to get food. i ordered the macaroni and cheese fried chicken and cabbage. the man that took my order was highly rude and told me that it would take around an hour and a half to deliver my food because he didn’t have gas in his car??? isn’t this the companies responsibilty and why is he telling a customer this. Almost two hours later my food arrives, looking like it just got off a fairground ride. the food was ice cold and the chicken was soggy from the cabbage. it ended up being thrown away. tonight i thought i would give lolas another try because i really enjoy the idea of country food that delivers. i ordered the exact same. i was told they didn’t have macaroni and cheese. i then asked if they just opened, she said no that the cook didn’t feel like making it. so instead i opted for field peas that was advertised on their menu. she didn’t understand what field peas were and had to put the phone down and scream to the kitchen and ask what it was. that being said when i completed my order she gave me my total and i hear a man in the background screaming at her to ask me if i want dessert. overall the experience was deplorable. i have given lolas two chances to impress me which i know they can under good leadership but with as much competition in the restaurant business they will not remain open long if this continues.

Had a flyer under my door, it was raining and cold so I thought I would try it. They shorted us 2 drinks and a salad and because there were several orders I didn’t catch it till the deliver man was gone. I ordered smoked brisket. It was cut super thin, was a moderate sized portion, but had not been de-fatted. So, I have to rate it low. It did have a nice smokey flavor. The cabbage and green beans were good though. It was great that they delivered. Took about an hour.
